Help with 2nd army chaos daemons

Love my tyranids but thought I would start a chaos daemon army for fun while waiting for the new codex.

Here is what I have.
10 Plaguebearers of Nurgle: Plagueridden (Lesser Reward); Icon of Chaos. 115
20 Pink Horrors of Tzeentch: Icon of Chaos. 190
10 Bloodletters of Khorne: Bloodreaper; Icon of Chaos. 115

Well, it looks like you're going all daemons, not mono anything, makes your choices a bit easier really. You have small points so far so I would suggest in getting either a daemon prince, or Big daemon (Fateweaver or Bloodthirster are good choices) OR go for heralds, such as Skulltaker or make your own. Just a hint, I build my HQ as follows: Herald of Khorne, Exalted rewards (The eternal blade), Blood throne, and Locus of fury- 180 pts. of pure killing goodness. But thats just me.

As for troops you can never go wrong with units of 20 pink horrors for their massive shooting outputs. Elites are usually always flamers. Fast attack should be screamers or plague drones. And heavies, soul grinders are always great.

Fateweaver, Bloodthirsters, Dogs of Khorne, Skull Cannon, Daemon Princes, Soul Grinders, more screemers. All great choices in addition to your army. The seekers and any assault units work great with the cannons grenades effect. I have only played as Daemons once but getting grenades on a MC or Soul Grinder or hounds is just nasty.

I advise putting a mounted Herald of Tzeentch, with the magic book artefact (the one that lowers armour saves), with the screamers. Then up the number of screamers and use them for offensive punch, for this reason:

You can use Divination to drop the screamers to a 4+ Invuln save, and then target them with the book to give them a 2+ invuln save. Because Daemons of Tzeentch re-roll saves of 1, the screamers will effectively have re-rollable 2+ invuln saves. And if the Herald is grouped with them, it's practically impossible for the opponent to eliminate him.

If you want to really annoy people with screamers, have Kairos so you can re-roll failed Book rolls, and almost guarantee those re-rollable 2+ invuln saves every round.

You might also want to consider Soul Grinders with the Mark of Nurgle. If you camp them in a ruin, you get 2+ cover saves while being able to lob your bombs at people from a safe spot.

The worst part (or best depending on your perspective) is how random the daemon dex is. Fateweaver stops you from getting randomly screwed, and is a psychic badass to boot. IMO hes a must include in any non-mono god list.

Other highlights include seekers (see jackedup's suggestion), skull cannons, flesh hounds, seekers, and other greater daemons + princes. IMO running princes as an HQ is a waste since greaters are so much better, but they are the best heavy choice in the dex next to the skull cannon.

Fun fact, a Lord of Change with a pimp stick (I think its actually called Staff of Change)has more killing power than a Bloodthirster. The pimp stick is the mvp of Tzeentch mcs everywhere.
