Tervigons from spare Fex bits

Ok, so... I used the spare backs on either side of a fex head on the front of a cardboard xmas ornament from a craft store. I added some flesh hooks as a 'stinger salvo' and used extra scything talons as legs. (I also stuck some spare guns in to fill space if needed.)

I orded a large oval base (and then cut out another one). I currently have 4 of these guys.

I personally like them better than the kit, but i may be a little biased.

(Also, I made these back in 2010ish when we didnt have a kit yet.)

What did you do for the torso and connecting the arms? Is it strategically black to hide the void?

These are fantastic. I've been debating on whether or not to convert some Ork arachnids from Fantasy into Tervigons (yes, i am a spider enthusiast) but didn't want to shell out the extra clams. now i have a cheap way of doing it. Thanks!

I am really glad you all like these.

Yes I specifically used black to help hide the 'void'. On my first one I used an escessive amount of hot glue to fill the void (cheap). On the subsequent 3 I didnt and you really cant tell.

Also, I used a lot f hot glue instead of model glue. It creates a nice 'pcoket' for the big scything talons to rest in adn looks more natural once primed.
