another starting a new arm thread..... Daemons

so I am starting a chaos daemons list and was wondering what would be a good addition to my army.

I recently got a bunch of models in a trade for my space marines.
-Lord of change
-Pink Horrors squad (x2)
-Plague bearer squad
-Bloodletters squad
- 3x Flamers

I plan to go to the store on sunday. I have enough saved to get one of the following boxes:
-Nurglings
-Flamers
-Daemonettes
-Plague bearers
-Bloodletters
-screamers of tzeench
-Seeker chariot

so what would be a good addition to get for my army?

I vote screamers or chariot. Screamers new rules make them pretty good, chariots I have not gotten to test yet, but look great on paper and unlike screamers don't really have competition for their slot in the FOC

I also anti vote Nurglings unless you need some for the plague father (I just paint rippers green and no one can tell without looking closely ^_^)

Reason: new swarm rules plus them not being very good to begin with just kills them.

I anti vote blood letters unless you never see shooing marines or marines that use termmies your going to have issues using them. New assault rules, allocation rules, and furious charge rules, along with hell blades ring ap3 now, it's hard to justify taking them over other options.

Im indifferent about daemonettes, but their speed and grenades make them worthwhile sometimes. T3 just gets to me.

Note: ALWAYS give pink horrors bolt and if you ever have 5 points to spend always give a horror squad a changing.

By 2 units, you mean 5 man units right? And how many strong are the blood letters? If 5 then too few. They need to be bigger if you are going to use them.

You should get the White Dwarf update, if you already haven't done that.

I would skip nurglings. They used to be a guaranteed tar pit for walkers, now they are unable to charge anything with an AV.

I have the codex and the update i am just deciding what to get next. I plan on getting kugath (nurgle greater daemon) when they get a model.

Poogath is a fun dude. My friends were convinced that they had to have FAQd his large blast to not be ap2 because it was "unfair"

It does take a lot of firepower to deal with him. The Nurglings thing is just the worthless part of him... They actually, in my opinion, dropped below ripper swarms in the rank of which swarms are best, just as a unit. It takes a lot of luck to get 1 Nurglings base on turn 2 and have it do anything turn 3.

the nurgling swarms are just extra with Ku'Gath. he is the real monster to deal with and can soak up a turn of shooting like it was nothing. Ive always had a soft spot for nurgle units.
