Had my second game in 6th today, while playing I attempted to use my Tervigon to pop an Iron clad Dread . When I went to use my smash attack my opponent said I only get ONE attack at Str10 and the rest are at normal Str. Is that true? I read the rule and i guess it makes sense but I thought I could get more than one attack. The guy is a brutal WAAC guy who I just met today. After our game another player told me "Yeah don't play that guy." Which makes me think there is hope for more than one. Any info would be great, I'm trying to keep my light of tyranids alive but it seems more and more uphill :/

I am on plenty of boards, and have heard all sorts of RAW twisting... and I have never heard anyone try this; not even ask about it.

Yes, you make 'a' Smash Attack, but that does not equate to only 'a' attack.
You only make 'a' Vector Strike, but that is not 'a' strike.

If you play him again, just stick by your guns, and you can bring others in on the discussion.
