Need a suitable bit for an idea

So, my next addition to my genestealer cult run of a nid codex is zoans.

My idea is basically a small tripod walker - something like a 3-legged IG sentinel but smaller and stripped down. Basically a gun platform on 3 legs.

The problem is finding appropriate legs. IG sentinel legs are too big. I need something robotic/mechanical but more slender. I'm thinking I will have to sculpt them myself, but if any of you guys can think of an existing bit (or toy/figure) that might fit the bill, I'd love to know.

try dreadnought legs with sentinal leg hydrolics. kinda like a short and stubby "chicken dread" (use google for the chicken reference)

warmachine makes a bunch of mechanical figures with thin spindly legs. ive seen many people make spider necron lords out of some of the steampunky looking units they have. something called robogear makes little vehicles that are a bit small for 40k scaled stuff, but they make a spider tank with legs perfect for this kinda thing as well.

That's ideal. Next question, a harder one, anyone know where to buy warmachine bits in the UK? Nothing useful on ebay...

Do you have a friendly local gamestore? They can usualy order bitz for you that arrive with their next stock of minis from PP.
Kind of the same way that "that one other large miniature company" used to work.

I think PP have a UK outlet - a guy I used to work with was there for a while, but has since moved on - I'd drop them an email - I'm 98% sure they sell bitz!
