Silver Sabors Dreadnought (pic heavy)

so I created a bunch of custom chapters to go along with some fluff I created a while back.

I repainted a dread to the color scheme of the silver sabors, a veteran chapter. The dread will hopefully have some brothers to back him in the future but for now he stands alone.

I'm working out some ideas for a cool base, any suggestions would be great.

C&C welcome, I've been playing around with ideas for this chapter for quite some time now and here is just the latest idea and by far the best I've come up with. He's a bit messy but that was the intended look, I'm just not too sure if he appears too busy.

Should I tone it down on the weathering and battle damage?

Awesome work! I think the battle damage is just right, i dont see too many dynamic looking dreads. He can be the veteran and crafty and be surrounded by the up and coming guys. Just my two cents^_^

I'm going to be brutally honest. I hate it. The white looks patchy and rushed, what did you use for a primer? Is it suppose to be blood.mus splattered or some sort of camouflage because the reddy/brown looks awfully applied. I'm looking at the sarcophagus and the purity seal and the detail isn't that great, if not ignored. The green does little to break up the over all bland and messy scheme.

I like it... A really cool idea (if you were trying to make it rust) would be to have glued some fine sand on the model, so it actually looks rusty and ragged. A little more attention to the seals and other little details would be nice.... Maybe gold?

Thanks for the input guys, I'll have to try that with the rust, and ya it was rushed, I'll be doing up some members of a tac squad to see what they look like with the same, I'm going to tone down the red and brown effects.
