I started to collect a smerf army a few years ago untill I came upon the realization that smerfs were to generic and I wanted something more unique, so I created The Ultra Swords. Their story actually follows the destruction of the Ultra marines which was brought about by the combined forces of Hive Fleet Reaper, (My friends hive) and the influence of the an unknown Eldar farseer (Same Friends Eldar).
The story goes something like this:
The Ultra marines were in ruin, their defenses had failed, and tyranids were swarming countless planets under their protection, Marneus Calgar had been defeated. His Armies lay in ruin and his fame and legend forgotten. A surviving captain and his squad of loyal marines managed to escape the invasion on a commandeered thunderhawk gunship where they fled the system in search of the 2nd company in an outlying system who where un aware of the fall of Calgar and the Ultramarines. They connected with the 2nd company and after the small fleet consisting of 1 battle barge and a few smaller ships were taken control of by the new leader of the chapter chapter master Catastrophy he led the remaining ultra marines out of the darkness and through the warp where they began a new age and a new chapter, the Ultra swords. The name sake comes from the brave men that held their swords high to stand against the invading aliens. The chapter master with his new power altered the color scheme for the ultra swords from the original ultramarine gold. He took a blazing orange and painted the left shoulder pad of every soldier this color, all the gold was removed and replaced with black trim but the Ultra marines blue remained as a reminder of the origin of the chapter. The continuing mission of the chapter is to acquire knowledge and weapons for the recruits to come and gain back that which was lost to hive fleet Reaper, and to make things even more difficult a farseer, who's name has yet to be revealed has made it his personal mission to stop the rising of the new chapter for they play a great role in the destruction the already dieing Eldar.
So that's pretty much the story, too much? Or is it good?
