My first conversion.....A Fex! pic heavy!

Basically im real bored with the standard fex pose so i thought id do one rearing up.
Ive modelled the head with half the tusked head and half the regen head, and green stuffed the neck a bit longer.


what weapons should he have, im thinking Scything x2 or Scything, crushing?
The body is made from a magnifex so i can incorporate that too, any ideas people.?

Nicely done! Looks rather better than my own attempt at combining Fex heads. Can't wait to see some pictures of your mods on the lower joint.

Given that you've already got Tusked, Regenerate, and Spine Banks on there, you're looking at UberFex territory anyhow, so I'd go all the way and give him Scything/Crushing.

Looks great. I used the same two heads, except I used the full sides and had the lower jaw look like it had been damaged. Very nice.

i mocked up the arms with some putty and i really like the 2x scything in the mk1 fex pose sort of x shaped if you know what i mean.
tho crushing may still make it on there.
ive cut the tail off to model it lashing about a bit more like the tyrant tail, il be working on that tommorrow hopefully

That is a very nice sculpt job there. You have good green skills. Perhaps try out at doing some more sculpting. I just love how this head almost resembles the Tyranid Warriors head.

my fex is half regen half bioplasm, i couldnt find 2 regen halves

There is only 1 regen half, you just use the normal opposite half for the other side. One side is scullish, and the other is normal.

You are very skilled with green stuff. And a Fex that ,looks like that has to have CC and be an Uberfex

How do you make the little indentations of like the exo skeleton of the fex? what item do you use to do it?

thankyou for the comments on the Green stuff.
basically ive got a teardrop shaped modelling tool which i use the point of for the indents and a pointy thingy for the little holes.
i started by sculpting the tendons and followed the original lines of the models then did the indents in the grooves.
i hopre that helps, il try and get some pics up soon but im away from home right now.
