Title says it all. I have been inspired by my local club getting into fantasy to work on my wood elves. I went to the GW page and found some ideas for a castle, waystones, and magnetised forest. here they are.
First my ruined castle so far. Still need to base it (waiting on more plasticard). Miniatures in it for scale. (FYI, those are wood elves from an alternative line on the walls, they are about 8 years old. . gee. . they came in packs of 6 for 8.95 when I got them. . at the same time GW was selling 8 (yes EIGHT! when ranks were 5 wide and minimum unit for archers was 10. . ((you can see these same exact plastic archers I speak of in the bottom left of the last pic of the forest. . bleh! Plastic extrusion has come a LONG way)) plastic archers for 20$. But GW doesn't over charge. . .
Waystones, with my spellsinger on unicorn (can't get this unicorn anymore, ral partha model, too bad. Why is it painted blue? well. . .I thought it would be cool to make it look like it was pure magic, and it has a pattern like the night sky in it, stars and nebulas etc. . ok, so not so good there. . but that brettonian sorcerous looks good ((despite my (please do not swear) camera washing out the colors)). .
Ok and this is my magnetised trees for terrain. This is designed to be portable, plus since the trees move within and outside the base, makes moving units thru it SO much easier, as you can see by the last pic, magnets hold well.
There you go, hope to be using these this weekend.
