This one is a deep thought. I’ll follow the 3x3 warriors as you suggest to test the tervigon out. But i really like the idea of a 9 warriors unit in the middle, i have to admit. Is so unreanisable to split buffs on these two units in base of who i’m playing against?

Honestly, I kind of like the first list you had more (with the current relics/wlts). I think the 6” pregame move could be pretty useful for an otherwise slow list.

In the first I’d swap the warriors hooks and toxin sacs for AG on the tyrant. 1” mv can be important and access to the +d3A strat is good for killing tough units.

It was you that suggest to maximize the adaptation with the msu of warriors! But aren’t genestealers good for that role, so i don’t have to swap adaptation to move 10 gargs pre-game?

The list looks fine for me. What I don't really like is the wlt on Tervi. She's slow, Termagant screen slows her down even more. If you roll poor on their advance they wont reach midfield by round 2 or even 3. Another question is how often the 5-strong ObSec will come to play and really make the difference while the accompanying Termas will not? My guess is this will only matter sometimes in the endgame and I'm just not convinced using a wlt for a late-game "maybe" is a good idea. Heightened Senses make... more sense 3+ WS is not too reliable when you have only 4 (8) attacks and no other way to get a reroll. If you really want the AC trait give it to the Deathleaper and turn him into a real pain in your opponent's back end. You'll be down to 1 CP but without big Warriors blobs you dont need that many CPs right from the gate.

No one have suggest adaptive biology for the reaper tyrant. Ok, tyrant guard for the first turn surviving, but once the flyrant fly away to hunt something, isn’t a good choice having more protection for the warlord? Isn’t transhuman, 4++/5+++ the best customization? I feel unconfortable losing my warlord early in the game.
I like the idea of a fat tervigon obj secured, I don’t have illusions of seeing alive the termagant unit for too long 😂

The survival of the winged hive tyrant is dependant on getting overrun to trigger and running back to the tyrant guard. The 5++ won't save you in most cases as the opponent will just keep attacking the reaper till it's dead.

Only the guard, ruins and or distance will generally keep him alive.

This is why I like that 6” pre-game move for the first list. Both the Terms and the Terv have 18” Mv to easily hit a mid-field Objective T2. When I use AC on the Terv, I’ll body block the opponent’s side and stretch the terms out to another objective. So the WLT allows holding 1 and denying a second. 5-man objsec comes into play a lot too, most objsec units are 5-mans. Terv can even outnumber 6+ objsec bodies on a objective by spawning the free terms, they spawn before you score primary. Heightened Senses outside Kraken is also a T3+ play, I don’t think it’s really possible to have a WLT that matters T1/2 for the Terv. I think Senses is better w/o the Reaper, when the Terv has to pull heavy duty melee weight.

Splitting the Warriors was an idea to reduce CP consumption and split buff dependency. 3 VCs isn’t wringing a while lot out of the adaptive. You really want a Tfex, Exo, or HVCs to maximize it. GS can take the role, but they are a cost that will take away from somewhere else in the list. The 6” pregame move lets you keep the faster Gargs (important for scoring Spore Nodes; a good secondary with the tervigon), while also giving some initial speed to the term blob so the Tervigon isn’t being slowed by it. On the mission GS/forward deploy matters, the 6” move on the terms will be enough to get to a close obj and the Gargs to start setting up for secondaries.

Now you could just swap the gargs for GS in the second list, but that still leaves you with the adaptive having a low impact on your army. I’d take the +1 charge rolls adaptive on the 2nd list.

I just feel that, as you called it, heavy duty melee will be a bit more useful in the second list with msu Warriors. The Flyrant can only be in place at a time and the list doesn't sport any other reliable serious melee threats.

Ok, while i was reading some of your comments i realized that i was lacking some important pieces, like nephilim above all. I take some time to read here and there and i came up about what i want from my list.

- I want cast every turn hive nexus from neurothrope to give the zoan’s imperative to someone. That means that the only psyker to do psychic action can’t be him, neither the tyrant with his 2 spells to cast or zoans cause their bonus to cast smite. Tervigon for psychic interrogation is the choice here i think;
- I need that the central piece of the army would be or the tervigon or a big blob warriors unit to maintain the synaptic link;
- i want to play banners games, so i need some early fast unit and some resiliant unit/model to maintain the banner;
- i need more melee threats to go deeper for cranial feasting.

Two CPs left for reserves. I have to be careful how to select units for buffs like catalyst or hive nexus as alrrady pointed out, but i think it will depend on the opponent and the moment pf the match.
I’ll try this list in the first game i will do, if you don’t make me realize conceptual errors.
How many of you have experience with raveners? 2x5 units are the same price as two naked harpies and can give me more cranial feasting points.

At their current pts, Harpies are much better. I would recommend dropping TS from TG and TS/FH from Warriors to give either 1 Harpy Dermic or Synapse/Voracious to both Harpies.
