I’m playing a couple 2k games Saturday, first against templars and then against necrons. Super friendly, I’m still not great so looking for some pointer on my list. Thing is these are all the models I have, so I can’t add anything, I just put the termagaunts and genestealers in to fill space. I would ideally have only 2 units of 10 terms but how can I make them and the gs useful in the game. I’ve attached my list, comments and advice welcome.

Why Behemoth? Not many CC units in the list… Levi, Jorm or Kraken would fit better. Levi for more shots from VCs and Exos connecting, Jorm for cover and deepstrike. Kraken for mobility. Personally I would go for Jorm as you dont have any Venomthropes. I’d also go for 2x5 Warriors instead of 5 + 3 + 3. Points saved on the Warrior and AGs (40) can go to Physiologies or Rippers (one VC to cut out). Thats my 2 cents

Synapse is probably better served on the Mawloc, and Exo would be good with voracious ammo. Honestly, I think the warriors would be better just as a 9-man. Couple relic/wlt suggestions:
Direct Guidance on Neuro (only 1 pskyer w/o +to-cast) Adaptive Biology on Flyrant Alien Cunning on Deathleaper Maw claws on Prime and move to DBS, BS, LW
List might be better as Leviathan with these changes. Levi offers more durability, but Jorm can deepstrike the Exocrines, Zoans, and Warriors. Mostly personal preference on playstyle will make one better over the other.

You can use Hive Predator twice in Strike Force missions.

Any tips on deployment and strategy, secondaries? Playing a couple smart cookies so I wanna feel good about my game.
Playing tear down their icons vs necrons and abandoned sanctuaries against black templars

For tear down, I would start 1/2 term unit/s right next to the opponent’s territory and able to perform the progressive action. The other 1/2 could prob be in strat reserves to at least try to get 6-9 progressive VP. Action secondaries aren’t going to be great since you’ve already got actions for the progressive. Stranglehold is great for all the 5 Obj missions, I could see it being good for both. Although, Jorm’s trait loses some relevance when going to the center of the table, so maybe play on the flanks.

Ok so hold 1 squad of terms for reserves. Copy that.
I’m thinking strangehold, psychic interrogation, raise banners
I’m not sure if I’ll be playing templars at this point. So just necrons.

So just the postup results from today’s games I ended up playing two, I lost the first game by eight points 58 to 50 or 57 to 49 I didn’t do so well on secondaries and it got cut short. . But a dude wanted to hang and play a game in the afternoon so obviously he played necrons. I managed to do much better but tbh my opponent was very tired so there is that caveat. As far as my secondary‘s in the second game it was a completely different story and ended up winning 97 to 37 or something close to that. I played a very aggressive game in my second game I charged up the board as much as I could. Took 4 objectives and didn’t let them go. So I’ll take the 1 win and we’ll see what comes at me 2 weeks from now. I have a malceptor that just arrived so I think I’ll pull the mawloc for it. The zoanthropes were probably me mvp today.
