If playing power level what units should we take?

Competitively or for fun?

Generally for me, I play power level to mess around with units I haven't played in a while or that I've just finished painting

In general, powerlevel favors units with lots of good expensive upgrades. I suspect Horms would benefit from it. Warriors, C-Fexen, and Tyrants too.

I haven't compared the PL of those units though so I don't know how their costing in that mode compares to the rest of the codex.
I would agree with Kerrigan though, if you are playing a PL game, min-maxing is probably going to detract from the experience. Take it more as an opportunity to try out units you like the idea of but aren't sure how effective they would be. Play around with concepts you would avoid in a tourney. Have fun with it. Unless your playgroup for some bizarre reason is using PL instead of points in a competitive setting in which case they are weird.
