Have been having lots of fun testing stuff out... SO many options!

Here's my take on leviathan:

AGs on 3 man units of Warriors is a horrible waste of points. You pay 15 for 3 guys and you pay 15 for 9 guys. That's basically 30 points down the drain.
I feel this list lacks chaff clearing capabilities. Switching VC for Stranglers on the warriors would be a good first step to remedy that. Acid Spray or even, God forbids, Fleshborer Hive on the Fex also sounds good.
The above also emphasises this list biggest weakness - lack of board presence. No ObSec monsters, only 9 troops - all this will make contesting Objectives very difficult.
This ofcourse depends on the local meta but I think Shardgullet and twin Exos backed by the MWs spam of Zoans and Maleceptor is all you need for tank-hunting. Speaking of Zoans - isn't 5 an overkill? Like I said above - you need more troops presence and chaff clearing.

Oh and if you really want to go heavy on shooting why not Kronos? Extra range isn't THAT important but the Symbiostorm power is just insane.

hmmmm good point on the adrenals.... will save me some points. I ran three mans with adrenals on the weekend and the S8 was pretty awesome with those matchups... but I can see where it wouldn't be strictly needed.

Five zoans are pretty much the minimum I need to have them live to turn three here. Zoans are priority target number one for my opponents, especially with how insanely dangerous they are now.

I hadn't tested out the rupture cannon fex which is why he was in there. Tested the acid spray version this past weekend and it was...okay.... I'll look at the fleshborer hive to see what that might add.

Leviathan was the choice due to 8 out of the 13 units having synapse so fully benefitting from the transhuman throughout.

If I owned more warriors, I'd certainly put them on the board, but I only have 9 currently as they weren't very good for so long I invested more heavily in devilgants... which turns out was not the good choice!

I think AGs on Warriors outside of Behemoth is too good to not do, even for just a 3-man. S8 on a troop choice is silly good regardless of the number of models in the unit, and +1" move makes charges or objectives easier to get to.

I think another Harpy is more worthwhile than the RuptureFex, Harpies have barely less avg damage into T8/3+ (higher into 5++ or better) and have the mobility and stratagem support to cause a lot more issues for the opponent.

If the Zoans are prioritized over Warriors, I'd call that a win. I don't know why your opponents are targeting them over your Obj Sec troops who have higher output as well, but if a 5-man means they absorb 3-turns of abuse instead of the Warriors... keep 'em at 5 haha.

yeah I think the zoans were prioritized after turn one the super smited for 9 wounds as the opening volley.

that tends to get someone's attention lol

Sure it isn't the AVERAGE damage of zoans, but rolling 3D6 take the preferred two and having +5 to cast means it was a super smite every time.

I played someone as well who didn't target them and the damage they did was pretty crazy.

I'm kinda loathe to give up the adrenals on the warriors though.. 5 points a model for +1 strength and +1 movement seems too good to pass up. Yes, it would be better if I had more warriors... need a refund on all those devilgants I bought lol

EDIT - alright, put the t-fex to a Acid Spray with voracious ammunition (should clear out bodies fairly well), added adrenal glands to the tyrant, and synaptic Enhancement to the Harpy (which also gives Transnid due to Leviathan)

If you can make it work, on the Trygon Prime, I'd consider Searhive instead of the Maw claws - you don't get +1 attack (or the extra 1 or 2 if you can make that work), but you get to auto-wound in combat instead of just re-rolling, and it does potentially open up the maw claws for the Tyrant if you were willing to part with the Shardgullet. I feel the +1 Attack is more significant on models with lower base attack characteristics in general
