This helps to avoid 20 minute long matches that are won on a roll off to see who gets firts turn

I was a 60 point gap either for Termagaunts, or for 2 units of spore mines. In case of Grey Knigh Teleport Alpha Strike I presume.

Hope they understood that the 4++ is only one model and not a unit, so giving a 4++ to a tervigon sounds cool, but ive had barbed melt to shooting with one and they have 6 more wounds. guess it worked well for them.

I haven't used a Tervigon for ages, don't the reserved Termagants have to be included on the roster? Which would be illegal in a Crusher Stampede army.

Yes they understand it, as well as all the other rules that are in the CS. Have You seen the WTC Tables? They are quite dense so the Tervigon has a good chance of beeing out of LoS for a long time. I personally am a huge fan of the Biomorphic Carapace on a Tervigon but It seems here that the urge for CP i greater

Yea, shooting is pretty neutered on WTC tables. I used to play on WTC layouts, but list building just devolved into who brought more flying infantry and ignore LoS shooting. I found HG barely worth it with all the dense, but the Levi supplement has probably made them monsters with Warrior links and exploding hits on unmodified 6's. Seeing CS win with only 1 FW model is nice, but the little deviation from why I dislike WTC layouts blunts my excitement. I do really like the 60pt buffer for Termagant spawn or Spore Mine spawn, and I think that is probably something I will look to try out (3 CP for mines is rough though).

Biomorphic Carapace on the Terv only seems worth it if you can select it as a TTL choice and gain VP off it just surviving, something that probably isn't viable in Crusher Stampede as you lose too much not taking Dimas, Dules, and HG. However, a Tervigon w/ BC looks really good in a CS list looking to utilize Stone-Crusher Carnifexen, but I'm unsure if they can backbone a CS list (especially with only being able to take 3 in a Battalion).

They cannot. But TTL is a legit consideration anyway as one of them can be SL, the other the TGon. 3rd is maybe a dule.
