Competitive Tyranids as we know them are completely dead if these changes are true.
I'm crossing my fingers that this is fake and just leaving it at that. But I'm likely to take a break from the game if this is true.

Warrior VC also got a pts drop in the pic; 15 -> 12 pts. Lictor/Pyrovore pts increase is silly, and a poor choice in "fixing" non-interactive Secondaries, like Scramblers, Engage, Linebreaker, etc., if this ends up being true. At least Pyrovores had some light in the sun, if only briefly.

So 110 points for a full melee and -1 hit carnifex? bring 9 in a 2k game and you have half your fighting force, and since monsters dont double up anymore because of the new versions of secondary's they wont bleed as hard.

Lictors are just too good at getting points, but thats all they can actually do, so their points increase means either they plan on better wargear/stats for the model, or people whine about anything we have that's somewhat okay.

They just came out with a box set for nids with a trygon in it, and they are glass cannon in the first place so that cost reduction makes sense.

Weapon arms are counted as a "pair", that is to say that two single weapons within a set being the two arms of the four, so two "pairs" would be four of them costed as each arm individually (ie a pair is 30 and two is 60, each one costing 15 points)

Warriors are basically the same cost now loaded? but can be made most cost efficient without losing their firepower, or made to be supporting squads since devs and i think fleshhooks cost less too.

Also rending claws costing 1ppm on warriors and ravenors is good, dirt cheap ravs with 4 rending attacks and spinefists isnt meta breaking stuff, but a 5 man pack does cost 10 points less because of it, they're just making everything 5s or 0s and using some convoluted ways of making it there lol

Gargoyles being 6 pts might see more play now. Especially since Lictors are 55.

That seems fair. It's to account for abberants actually getting a points decrease. Haha
