Now I really wanne kitbash a harridan. But it is probably expensive, and that bad boy is to big for public transport.

It's not hard to magnetize the wings and tail. But it is expensive.

He also played the local meta very well. Every matchup was against elite armies. The Harridan LOVES elite armies. It's not an auto-win take.

Bring a Harridan for the anti elite (i don't think anyone downs it other than AdMech Mars MW spam).

Bring d3vilgants for anti infantry.

I'm so tempted to get a Harridan right now. The local tournament scene around my area is very elite heavy.

Also has always been one of my favorite models too. Great to see Nids continuing to perform well

I do not have 3000 nok to spend on a harridan. But I would love to field one. I often play VS Orks. There is no way for him to kill it. Shoot it on 6s? Pass. Charge it? Only if you fly. It would be a real powerhouse. Those cannons are gravy. Even if his melee profile is a bit lackluster.

Its melee profile isn't that bad. 3+ rr1s S10 6D is uh. Not laughable.

Untrue. But you need lots of practise, and you will have serious problems vs DA (deathwing especially) and DG. You are also the best codex ATM to take on the dreaded Drukhari. Of cours he could probably do better with a 9th codex than with Tau, but that is not the question.

A friend of mine was among the top TTS rankings for France using exclusively Tau (I think he has never played another army in his past 12 years playing 40k).

Pretty sure it's just one cult of strife unit. But Tau, so...could be all you need. Plus a couple of raiders just jammed in there, should be good.
