Do note this has absolutely no mechanical impact, but it does make WYSIWYG awkward and most people just fudge it there.

The floaty legs could be said to be the scything talons or rending claws. Rather believable.
Found it wasn't too difficult to kitbash a dual devourer/spitter with spare fex guns and other nid head plates to hide any unseemly cuts and connections

What LordPathos did above is what a lot of us do. Just count each of the two available sockets as a pair. Put a double dev in one arm and a melee weapon in the other.

Some people just call the spikey bits halfway up the wings as rending claws. You can call the stupid flying feet scything talons. You can call the tail the lash whip. There are several ways to be creative to get around this shortsighted design.

Additionally, if you have a 3d printer, there are 6 arm socket bodies you can print in order to just not have to worry about this issue.

Note that the design is rather neat in that they can be held on one arm or two, the rearmost arm has a slot that bolts into a bit of bone on the rear of the gun so if you don't want the second arm you just don't include it.

One other alternative (require more modelling work) is to modify and pin the wings on the back of the carapace to free up the arm sockets.

Personally I go the route infornography mentioned and use one socket side to represent each weapon set.
