The ones I podded in, didn't live to shoot 2x, they came in symbiostorm shot one time and promptly got removed. If I targeted anything important they'd transhuman and I wouldn't even get 100 points worth of damage in.Note: on transhuman and exos you can shoot your weapons 2x and do not need to target the same unit. I'd try to bait it out with the first exos first shots, then just target something else.
Im aware. Heres the math hammer for vs marines.
16 shots, 10.667 hits
Vs intercessors 7.11 wounds 6.9 unsaved
11.852 damage 5 models dead.
Vs Repis 3.56 wounds 2.963 unsaved
5.926 damage
Vs centurions
7.11 wounds 4.741 unsaved
9.481 damage 2 models dead
This is as kronos with symbiostorm not moving and before they use transhuman
I drop my exo and use symbiostorm i pick the cents, they pop trans human i kill 1 centurion and then change target to intercessors and kill 2 of those
I clear 150 points ish but the squads are still very strong they smash my exocrine back. Me losing an exo is more importany than them losing 1 centurion and 2 intercessors.
To make them work youll have to go 2 exocrine and 12 hiveguard and id throw in 3x3 biovores also to clog the map and slow things down so you have time to chip at the corners of their army.
But 2 exocrine is 300 points. 12 hive guard is 600 points and 9 bivores is 360 points you still have hq tax, and you still need things that will keep you punching and removing models. We dont have the option for that.
One of my original ideas was to play like gsc and hide everything so their turn 1 was bad but my turn 1 i had target saturation with hiveguard and biovores not needing los, but were missing something consistant and mean like tfex that can just rip wounds off of some of the meaner tanks. We also need better ways to deal with flyers so the list falls apart imo.
