Kraken gant for fun, first model painted this year.

So while bored and bummed some of my paints got ruined and I was unable to paint a Khorne cultist I made, I decided to paint up a little Kraken gant in a new scheme I was working on. I wanted it to be really simple so no color is more than 2 different hues and a wash/shade so I know it's not ground breaking but was a little fun to paint. Thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea to try and get some more models finished, let me know what you think!

Nice work. Love the old school gaunt. I like the brown/tan body but would like a bit more definition on the red. Maybe a darker wash or lighter highlight?

I like the older Nids so I grab them whenever I get the chance, which isn't very often but I have a good amount of these little guys. When I was painting the carapace I realized all the reds I had were darker than the two I was using so I'll have to get a lighter red that I'll most likely use on the carapace bumps and ridges for a nice highlight, thanks!
