Why so much hate on Agents of Vect?

Make it once per game and automatically works. On a 6 you still spend the CP.


I'm actually ok with agents of vect. Every time I play against Drukhari they burn all their CP stopping me double shooting with hive guard or cult ambushing. I'll just drop my ambush in the backfield, jump back into the shadows and do it again now you've burned all your cp. 
I can live without a turn or two of double shooting.

Is vects annoying? sure. Is it any more powerful then tide of traitors, super cult ambush etc. probably not. Its just different and people freak out about not being able to use their toys. Its the only negative strategy in the game which affects peoples mindsets. Every other strategem says "go do cool stuff" vect says "im stopping your cool stuff"

Agreed on it being the only strategy that stops your opponent from doing something. I think it gets hate for that but also bc dark eldar can ally in groups that can come farm. It makes vect a lot less costly so it can be used pretty much all the time without penalty.

Not that bad for tyranids to be sure. However, I think that some armies really are built around the use of strategems and not just a nice bonus they happen to get.

I think it's a good meta counter to stratagem fishing all the soups are doing.

I still think Stratagems need to be added to stuff ONLY from your Warlords Detachment, like relics and Traits are.

Instant fix for AOV, Kurov/Gstrat etc

You can stratagem for relics outside of your warlords faction. But cant use same strat twice so the warlord detach has 1 free one and can spend 1-3 for 1/2 for a different detach/faction
