Winged Hive Tyrant with Four Arms?

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times before but I couldn't fin much on it so here goes:

Has anyone converted a Winged Hive Tyrant to keep four weapon arms as well as the wings? One of the main things holding me back from going winged rather than walking is that the winged model (even when 'on foot') doesn't look as good and I really like my weapons to be properly modeled.

I'd be really grateful if anyone could share pictures of their successes in this area.

I made a conversion long ago with pins in the back to hold the wings. That left all 4 arms open for weapons.

I put some GS on the wing joints to brace against the armour plates, so the wings didn't rotate on the pins. My old pics are on photobucket, I'll get the to imgur soon!

Seriously though... maybe try insect wings? Those would be relatively easy to fit anywhere on the carapace with minor GS work, and youd keep the arm sockets. Youd even stay true to the six limbs rule that way. Trying to keep the bat wings would definitely be a lot harder, imo... theyve got a pretty complicated attachment point, and trying to squeeze extra limbs in there would just look awkward...

A final option would be to convert the weapons. For 4 devourers, combining devourer arms would be an option, for instance. The cannons might be more difficult, but probably not impossible... maybe a carapace mount could work?

You could convert the legs into some sort of gas propulsion and have them count as 'wings' if your opponent is okay with it.

Winged Tyrant with monstrous rending claws and two guns or a HVC is satisfying and looks cool. But I am with you on wanting 4 arm holes for weapons, I dream of 4 scyth talon winged tyrants...
