Jormagandr's ability to preserve your units in mass with gaunts and tervigons and exocrines is going to be more important in a long game than kronos re-roling 1's. If you need extra dakka use the strat to fire your hive guard or dakkaguants twice. Already got a good list in mind with these extra boosts.
If I'm looking for survivability for long range guns, Leviathan is better because I can already get the Jormangundr benefit in game and stack them. Moreover, it isn't at any opportunity cost (at least for a model like the exocrine). But re-rolling 1s when you're not moving is important in the early turns because it really converts those misses on 3+ to hit. Shooting hard early in the game is probably more important than a +1 save late.
It's true that any save roll at all is better than an FnP roll because the save negates all damage instead of just some. But again, the benefit should already be in game.
What you should be considering when making that decision is around the strategem. Jorgamundr's strategem is very good and worth building lists around... but the Kronos Warlord trait and strategem are crippling against certain armies, which makes it very good for an open environment. If you're at all familiar with your meta, you'll know how valuable Kronos is or isn't.
I really need the codex and point costs before I can decide between what units will be Kronos, Leviathan, Behemoth, or Jorgamundr.
