It's too bad he's doing this because I think the online store complaint is legitimate. GW says it doesn't allow online retail but somehow frontline and a few others get to?

The suit will probably be thrown out before there's much entertainment to be had, but I hope it doesn't because it'll be funny as hell to see unfold.

Lol no its anything but legit. The guy lost his GW distro rights because he's a recaster.

Oh I just mean the complaint the games workshop says it doesn't allow online stores, but then it allows some online stores is legit.

The complaint in regards to this guy... he really sounds like he needs psychiatric help.

They've always allowed online stores, they just had this weird no-shopping cart thing that made it slightly annoying.

To be fair, he's pretty bang on with the IP theft by GW.

The accusations around illegal price fixing, bullying, etc though seems pointless as if you don't like GW's practices, you don't have to stock their products. Especially for 20+ years like he claims.

Interestingly he claims genestealers were a copy (clearly he didn't see the original Hormagaunts)
As for the Lord of the Rings reference, well first up GW now has a licence to make official Lord of the Rings miniatures so that falls flat; and the earlier reference? Well he'd best be going after Dungeons and Dragons - Magic the Gathering and basically most of modern fantasy (he better go after Tolkien too as he just ripped off the Norse Legends!)

Much of this reads like a rant with random words like "ponzi scheme" thrown into childishly try and make it sound like GW are some kind of super-evil company doing all these evil things. I guess maybe he hopes that if he throws enough mud at the wall something might stick?

There is no IP theft because none of the things he stated are under copyright.

The only legit part might be with unfair trade practices. But that all depends on what contracts the FLGS signed.

Interesting stuff about the 'bait and switch' dealings between retailor and manufacturer. Might get compensation for that if he kept his records.

Some of the actual legal points are semi legit, marking things up 50,000% blockading companies from selling products when they have access to wholesalers. Limiting their marketplace influence by dictating how the products can be sold.

A lot of that is monopolizing tactics. I'm not up to snuff of legalities but i'm pretty sure some of the things they are doing are gray area, and after this lawsuit they might not be gray area anymore.

yeah, no. pretty much every manufacturer of anything does this. that's not a monopoly.

Im not sure of a company that sells its product on the market place allowing wholesalers to sell to private stores and then limiting the conditions those vendors can sell the product.
 
Ie, only 15% discount and not allowing a cart sale model online.
  
Usually if a company wants to control price they will just set a market price themselves and then sell the product via wholesalers at a cost that the vendors can only make a limited profit and if they wanted to create cheaper prices they do so by cutting their own margins to a point that isnt profitable.

Maybe im unaware of the current marketplace but id like some examples of other companies draconianly controlling their product (which is on the free market) the way gw did (theyre improving.)

Not sure if they can remove people off their vendor networt for those vendors just participating in the free market. Ie if you sell product at 20% off msrp, gw can stop their wholesalers from selling to you.

The "50,000% markup" is a red herring anyway. Sure, it may only cost literal pennies for the resources to construct the sprues, but they still have to pay for shipping, design, manufacturing time, all of the overhead of running a business, etc.

Pretty much any manufacturer does this. Especially game companies. People cry about GW all the time, privateer press does pretty much the same.
