I will totally be getting this book. This may even be the first thing I reserve from GW. Although that bit of "smaller factions...from the GK Terminator" has me a bit worried. Are they dumbing down Grey Knights?

Perhaps just a bit of special formations that incorporate all these sub-factions? Talk of a SoB teaser then a full codex still resounds hopefully in me, so perhaps this may be something like that for all the subs as well as to consolidate things like the assassins. Was their pub only in e-format, right?

I really like the possibility of each faction having a full codex, those are complete and fun. Sure it sucks if you have eight or so armies, but hey, don't get them all at once, learn to budget your hobby, then enjoy some of the anticipation that comes with it.

Now, hurry up November, I have some December to get to!

I'm kind of wondering if this might be a return to the 2nd Ed thing where a GK Terminator Squad could just be included in an Army of any Imperial Faction. Not folding the GK Dex in, but just a Datasheet for GK Termies that can be dropped in an Elites slot in a SM or AM or whatever Army. Pure speculation there.

Kind of like how the Sisters of Silence and Custodes are now? That would make a SoB/GK slightly easier for me. I wouldn't have so many compulsory choices to take.

I was thinking even more integrated, like you can just drop a GK Terminator Squad into an Elites slot in a SM CAD or a Battle Sisters Squad into an IG CAD or something.

This is sounding more and more like AoS and just take the units that you like. With factional restriction, how does that make you feel? Will troops be officially put to the side if you aren't required to take their tax and just take 8 units of Custodes or teleporting psychic bike units... or flyrants.

Just think, this time next year we may be playing 'Age of 40k'. There's allot of talk on Dakka right now on sigmarizng MC's and vehicles plus the new pink horror to blue horror to brimstone horrors are following AOS rules...

rules for the thousand sons are out. they are, by and large, not good. magnus is beatstick but is not a GMC and costs 650 points. he does harness on a 2+ and can't peril, so that's cool but doesnt' have access to the full range of powers, just tzntch and something else, can't recall. terminators are ludicrously expensive and are 1 cannon per 10. rhubrics have some better weapons (yay, warpflamers) but are 1 cannon to 10 guys, and haven't changed in price at all. they do generally get VotLW for free, but no one's going to care. the new sorcerers are too expensive. arhiman is probably too expensive, but since he can take a disk now you might actually see him. i havent' gone over the formations myself yet, but the tl:dr is that it's just like the rest of chaos: real flash, but meh.

New traitor legions stuff around, looks usable if not battle-company tier good. Fluffy. Pre order now, next week release.

Have wrath of magnus, the fluff is kind of bad but some really crazy (please do not swear) happens too. Logan is still god-tier Mary Sue, there's just no killing this asshat.
