every game it seems like my and my opponents find new questions about the rules. this game we were playing and two things stick out about psyker powers.
1. I wanted to cast like domination or the #6 telepathy power on my opponents helldrake to stop it from moving and make it fall out of the sky. we decided since it didnt have the required stats for like ANYTHING in telepathy to affect we would just go ask games workshop when they were open and I targeted something else. (I also wanted to enfeeble a monolith)
1.A can a vehicle get pinned by a spell? the RAW say if a "weapon" is "shooting not if someone casts a malediction ( i remember it says if u cast a malediction it takes up one of your weapons in the shooting phase tho...) I realllllllly need to take out the helldrake with a non flyrant. that was the specific instance
soo... any thoughts on what happens here?
2. No where in the rules (that we found tonight) does it say you cant target the unit inside a transport (I was trying to stop the 8 warriors inside a ghost ark from shooting with powers) so like focused witchfire can crush heroes in transports etc.
3. I noticed that the swarmlord's rules dont say his weapons ignore armor. I was attacking a 2+ save lord with him and we were both like "wtf thats clearly not right..." MC's are ap2 attacks (attention other nubz lol)
what is the hive's take on this? I can give more details if anyone needs them in their contemplation.
in other news... tervigon charging and smashing = 3 smash attacks right (1/2 of 3 = 2 + 1 for charging) which exploded said monolith. That tervigon was like the game winning madman because of my 3 MC's that charged he was the only one to roll over a 4 and saved the day. also even when fighting invisible bugs abbadon is still a killing machine.
