Dominatrix in the new codex? wut??

While I doubt the name, I can see Tyrants being able to 'specialise' next edition.

The usual upgrades but also the option to replace all weapons for a Swarmlord build or a Support Psyker build.

The vanilla would then be flexible as a cheaper walkrant or Flyrant variety.

It's a Hive Tyrant mixed with obvious wishlisting - access to Divination, re-rolling Tervigon spawns, Eternal Warrior...

And aren't Dominatrixes extremely large? Even larger than Trygons? It should have at least 6 wounds, not 4.

If the dominatrix is supposed to be bigger than a trygon/T-fex it would be to big to properly fit on the 6 x 4 table for 40k games and a pain to carry around, therefore I believe GW will make it happen!

While I do believe this model will exist, I think it is a work in progress and these are just some of the rules that have be thrown around.

I spent the weekend at a GW store, I know they are not reliable, the owner confirmed that obviously Tau are coming in April, but he also said that there is a chance that Tyranids could be after.

I know everyone is going to hate on me and tell me that he is wrong, but frankly I don't give a ****! I don't care about Hastings or that (please do not swear) website Warseer I think that we are coming and I think its this year, sorry rant over...

So easy to say fake, BS card or what not. At least give reasons as to why. Otherwise, it doesn't add much to the discussion.

For me, my first instincts is fake, because the stats don't match up. BUT maybe it's not a Dominatrix but something else? Then again, the Trygon was a super heavy or what ever it was called and became a MC. If I remember correctly people were saying FAKEEEEEEE when the Trygon was going to be MC.

So anything is possible. I don't hold up any hope since all the other Tyranid rumours proved to be false or never happened. Another reason I don't think it's real, we haven't herd any rumours from something so far away. Then again, GW could have let it "slip" to gauge how we see and anticipate a new Tyranid codex.

It actually doesn't matter if the Dom is supposed to be bigger than a Trygon fluff wise. We have seen in the past the game shaped in ways that had nothing to do with fluff.

And they could always just say that it is a smaller verion, as they did with the Trygon.

Still.. I don't know that I trust this.

On topic, a landraider is supposed to be big enough to lug terminators but has to be scaled back to even be playable on the table so maybe just more 6W MC action for us in the event this is actually true. I just hope to god it doesn't get changed to some other gribble spawning monstrosity at the last minute forcing me to assemble and paint a million more bugs

The epic scale model has a biocannon mounted on its back, fired by a symbiotic 'pilot'. The pilot looks very similar (ie ripped off from) the space jockey in 'Alien'. All 6 limbs are used for locomotion.

The dominatrix is a biotitan. They shrunk the trygon a bit to fit it into 40k, but the dominatrix is much bigger than the epic trygon model. The dominatrix is really something that should stay in epic scale.

Okay, people have to stop making this synapse creature sound so big. It was a synapse creature on the back of something about the size of a neirodule. The tentaclely thing here is a heirophant, the thing infront of it with a long neck is the dominatrix.

Deathgaunt but you could make that up and fit it with what weapons?
