KICKSTARTER now launched:
Some of you might recall I mentioned this a while back when this game tried for an Indigogo which sadly didn't make it. However the game itself didn't stop in development and has pushed miles ahead in the recent weeks.

They are now approaching a new Kickstarted fund-raiser in the next week to two weeks (finalising bank arrangements seems to be about the last thing they are preparing before its launch - alongside in-house changes such as model production and painting).
The game itself is still on the design board, but it already has a very clear structure showing through. A game focused around single dragon commanders who lead armies on the tabletop in battle - with forces appearing to be similar in size/number to many skirmish based wargames like Warmachine (I think it might be able to scale well up to GW sized armies but won't be required to - however this is only a guess based upon what material I've seen so far).
They've also a set of quickstart rules on the site for download and review, although full rules are not out yet and are still being refined and tested/tweaked - although the dev-team is always willing and eager to hear the view of their fans in this.
Two major rules are fairly fixed though - firstly the game features spell decks which are user customisable pre-battle. For dragons (and some other spellcasters) you get a deck of 30 to 60 cards which you choose what goes into it; letting you focus upon buffs, direct damage, area damage, summoning etc.... This is support a dragons natural abilities and powers.
In addition you've your normal forces of patron people who obey their dragon leaders along with monsters/warriors/beasties of those people and their dragon allies.
And fresh off the painting table a dragon and a monster.

As said their KS is starting up soon although their website already has forums discussing the game as well as other matters.
