Without doubt this is a great entry but a competition lives of diversity. I'm sure you'll find some ideas that make your artwork as unique like this.
Maybe in the end it's not the talent and brilliance of dakkathrope who determines the winner, but a funny or astonishing idea.
An artwork can be great due to a very big variety of factors: light, colors, composition, mood and so on.

That's not to put your work down, dakkathrope, you know. I just want the contest to go on

Thanks for the compliments guys!
I used a .38 pilot gel pen for the drawing and presketched it out with a 5h pencil.
Hopefully I don't discourage you all too much. Im looking forward to seeing what other ideas are out there
