Meanwhile, Eliseai was making quick work of the guards, the Captain seemed to be trying to get a clear shot at her, but the first time he thought he had it, he ended up putting a bullet in one of the 12's head at the moment Eliseai twisted them around. By the time the man had dropped she was once again engaged in combat with two guards. One grabbed her from behind as the other rushed forward swinging an electric stick presumably so he wouldn't kill her.
Unfortunetly for him he never touched her with it. As he rushed forward she planted her feet on the ground at a slant and pushed backwards forcing the guard who had her to stumble backwards into the wall. In the same motion she brought her feet up to the charging guard's neck and with an incredbley accurate twist of her feet snapped his neck. As the captain moved to fire at her again she wriggled away from the guard by shifting her form to be that of a small girl. The shot slammed through the guard's chest missing her head by inches as she darted towards guards that had just reached the door grabbing the electric stick as she ran.

Just after Ellesai evaded the captains shot, Mateus shouted "Now!" As the gun fired, Mateus flinched at the sound of the bullet, but watched with satisfaction as the captains forehead erupted into a little gore fountain, and he dropped, stone cold dead, to the floor. Mateus Nodded, and Ajusted the gun again, aimimng carefully. The only two guards left were being charged by Ellesai, But as Mateus shouted "Fire!" again, another dropped, the other panicing as Ellesai charged at him.

Eliseai didn't pause to show mercy, these people had treated her like an animal...apparently for longer than she'd originally thought. She jumped kicking out at the man and bringing him to his back as he screamed for mercy. Her hands slammed off the floor turning her in a back flip as she came up still standing. He was so astonished by her acrobatics that he'd only just begun to crawl away. She grinned as she came forward and embedded the electrical stick in the man's throat before turning it on. The smell of hair frying and burnt flesh soon filled the room.
Eliseai stood poised over him a truimphant look on her face. She turned to look at the others and for just a moment, they all knew that it wasn't Eliseai looking at them.

Mateus Opened the door up properly, and Stepped out. Hesitating for a second, Mateus reached out with his mind, Touchibg lightly on Ellesais conciousness- or whoevers was active right now. Ellesai? Its Mateus. Matthew. Your friend. Is that you in there? Are you alright? On the physical world, He slowly offered her a Hand, to shake, and smiled.
Ooc- Sorry its a bit short.

The moment he tried to touch her mind he felt darkness. There wasn't a mind here, or rather it felt like there wasn't one. As he pushed past this scarey feeling he felt their minds connect again. He was walking over the strangest landscape, he was in pitch black darkness and then he came to a gate made of thorns the color of ash. Roses of the deepest white were hung along them in a diamond pattern. A dark shadow moved out from them to block his path and suddenly a woman appeared just behind the shadow, now that he saw her clearly, it was Eliseai, her hair was a massive mane of rainbow colored hair, and her eyes were shimmering all across the spectrum. Her skin had a glow to it, and she was dressed in a gown of white with intricate black thorn spirals all over it. The gown was the most complicated and lovely thing he'd seen in a long time, and when he looked upon her hair there was a circlet that appeared to be made of white and black metal shaped to look like roses and thorns. She looked at him strangely and stepped back, "Matty, come in come in. I was just about to play." the shadow moved aside shoving him forward where he sprawled onto soft grass in a heap.
Eliseai moved over to him and smiled offering her hand, "You've come from the land where angels and daemons weep. We don't go there. It is a rule. The thorns wall keeps us all in...and the shadow protects the gate." She smiled taking his hand and pulling him to run across what seemed like an endless expanse of meadow. Her skirts and grass rushed up around them as she ran laughing in the sun.
Suddenly, Eliseai felt the squeeze of his hand on hers and she looked up snapping back to reality. Just as her mind regained itself, Matty saw the Eliseai in a gown wink at him and wave good bye as the shadow rushed about surrounding her and block Eliseai's mind from him.
"Yes, I'm fine." she said her vision returning as she smiled weakly. "I just, I finished them." She grinned again with some anxiety as she looked around her at the bodies some more obviously killed by her than others. She wiped the blood from the two guards she'd shot from her chest and face and slowly let go of the rod which she'd fried the guard with.
"Let's get moving...Sunny, are you alright? What about the rest of you?"

Mateus blinked. That had been strange... Very strange. Gathering his Wits, he smiled. "Right then, all of you. I owe you all an explanation I think. About all this strange activity, my revert to normal speech... And what I knowvaboutvyou."
5 minutes later Mateus wassitting over a small fire, one he made with various bits of cloth and wood from the storage room He was cooking some stew, made with ration packs. "So. My name was, befor all this, Dr. Matthew Ethan Icarus. I was a Psycologist, with research ibto the field of mental instability and insanity.... And recovering from it. The Doctors here Employed me to keep an eye on the child patients, but most of them were killed or too twisted to save. A few I did manageto keeop them sane... Untill the final operating table, where they all went mad and screamed fury at me. For lyibg, for telling them it would be alright. I hated myself for years. But then, Ellesai. She xame to my office, and we had an interesting discussion. And after that, I began to place seeds of doubt and thoughts of escqpe into minds, both my own and others. I thought it was a good idea at the time. Then the truth was revealed- the psychic division had marked me as a subject years ago. I was dragged to the operation centre, and had my brain re-arranged to allow acess to new pathways. And it drove me mad. Ironic really. Then earlier, as I used my voice, mymemorys, my real self... The madness that had repressed them was gobe, and I became myself again. Now... Any questions?"

As soon as Mateus told the group his real name 62 jumped onto all fours and slunk into the darkness surrounding the small fire letting off a deep growl, at the same time his children crept to the shadows keeping a good distance away from the doctor. 62 didn't try and interrupt his speech or harm him in anyway as the group would probably turn on him. It was pretty much the only thing keeping him at bay.
As even though he had never been the doctors subject he had fallen prey to his false hopes countless times. When the doctors had realized that at the rate they went through subjects people would quickly become suspicious, so they needed to come up with a way of getting more without resorting to stealing them from the population. That's where 62 came in, after he failed the weaponizing test. Using another physic subject they forced him to create his children in varying human forms, and once they where created they where quickly whisked away and altered so they could not talk to their farther but he could still feel them.
Over the years they where brought to Mateus for examination before being taken to the table. And all those years as each one finally went mad so did 62, alone and starving in his small cell until they needed another of his children. The only hope his children had at all was that at the final operating table something had allowed 62 to seize control again, which resulted in more that a few doctors receiving a knife to the throat before the child could be put down. 62 had no idea why he could at their last moment wrestle control over their bodies but he had.
It was probably one of the reasons why he was in this state now, his mind more of a feral beast than human. He had been forced to kill dozens maybe even hundreds of his own blood to make sure they didn't endure a life of pain. But what really pushed his over was the ones he couldn't kill. some of the last few had been observed by the same physic that had separated 62 from them, severing his ties completely. And even if this subject wasn't Mateus he had still given all of his children false hope.
No matter how much 62 had screamed before they took his mouth and eyes.
No matter how much he tried to yell at them with his mind.
They all one by one came to trust the doctor, sealing their fate.

Ghost seemed vaguely interested, he hasn't come in as a young child, more a young adult. He could barely remember it, the surgery and coma had taken so much out of him. 72 gave Mateus a remorseless look, a surprising amount of emotion, before moving on. He wandered down the corridor, rather aimlessly, a small limp in his step which began to fade. A baton had caught him on the calf, yet it felt minute compared to burning on his face. That guard had known how to throw a punch. He took a look back, Eliseai was coming to terms with what had happened, maybe 72 understood that she'd saved him. More likely not, after all, how could one see value in such a shell of a life. He spared a glance before continuing. After 20m or so, there was a fork in the corridor. He looked over to Sunny, fatigue evident in his eyes. Sleep never came easy, his existence was a weary crawl through a bleak life, all he really knew was pain, so how could he know pleasure.

Eliseai hadn't quite come to grips with the information until she heard him saying it. Slowly she walked forward towards him and leveled the gun she'd lifted from the guard earlier at his head, "Where are the scientists and the lab, what does our file and the rest of these subjects files say about us. Can you people cure us of our various draw backs, and most importantly" she paused her eyes locking with his as her form began to shift subtly to what he perceived to be the most attractive possible being and he felt a compulsion to answer not only because of the weapon currently aimed at his head, "how do we get out of here" she loaded the gun with a flick of her wrist.
She could see the look in his eyes, astonishment that they weren't accepting him as one of them. She had a dark look on her face that had some sense of justice to it, "Don't look like that. You aren't a child who never had a life. You aren't some creature grown in a tube, and you certainly haven't been mutilated in the name of science." she'd noticed the way 62 crawled away from Matteus, "You didn't go through the same abuses as us. If you think you are part of our collective experience of pain...you aren't."
She watched 72 leaving and slowly she lowered the weapon to walk after him muttering as she moved "this isn't over. Get thinking on the exit and the answers to those questions." she came to a hault near 62 and she moved to touch him her flesh morphing about to form something like his own. Suddenly, he felt a connection like the one he shared with his children. "Don't kill him please. He might be our only way to leave. Besides, there is nothing stopping you from him once we can see the sky." she then withdrew her hand and it slowly reformed back to normal as she caught up to Ghost and put her hand on his shoulder, "Wait."
"There is strength in numbers, and we need you. Please don't leave us....somehow, I think it matters that each of us has lived to escape...we each have a unique take on this place that needs to go on...but if we split up, then it won't work." She was standing in front of him now, "Sunny needs you to help carry him. I need you to help carry Sunny. Don't abandon us now...please. Look if we get out of here, I don't know what he or these people did to you...I can only begin to imagine in the same way you can only imagine my torture...but they both hurt us...so when this is all over...you can share the space on their throat with my boot."

62 jerked a little as Eliseai made contact with him, as the sensation of another mind other than one of his children's brushed against him. For an instant he could feel her bruises, her emotions and the thing that grabbed his attention the most, the darkness. He listened to her talk but before he could reply she pulled away breaking contact. For a few seconds he just crouched there staring after her with unseeing eyes before letting out a long dog like whine.
Why did she have to be so annoying? In little under a few hours she had turned from a whelp, to a threat and now to the possibility of being one of his own. Though being what she was she could be trying to play him, but he had no way to tell. Only time would bring the answers. Snapping back to reality 62 glanced to where Mateus stood, his nostrils flaring as his head swung in his direction. He wouldn't forget his scent again.
Shaking himself 62 stalked after Eliseai at a distance, more to stay with the group then actually try and spy on her. As he moved so did his children following at a slow pace, their heads shaking from time to time as 62 fed them memories from their past sibling's and their suffering at the hands of the "good" doctor. At the same time he did this 62's mind filled with little more than primal rage and fear making it impossible for anyone to read his thoughts.

Mateus sighed. "Ah well. I should have expected this. In answer to your questions Ellesai, The labs are in Dome 5, which means us going through dome 1, the city centre. We are in dome 6, the prison. The scientists will probably be there. My files on you are in my office, and contain psychological profiles only. I've never read your 'subject files'. Curing you? I dont know. M a psychologist, not a Surgeon. And getting out of here? Submarine, Or Sucace train. Both can be accessed from dome 3, the Aquport." The look in his eyes shifted. "And Ellesai... I may not have been grown, u I've been mutilated. Don't get me wrong, Your physical, and possibly mental conditions are wor than mine. But I'm no longer even capable of sleep, or rest. Whenever I close my eyes or The olence sets in, I hear the screams of the People I gave hope, Or who came to trust me, the terror of the People I have tormented with m mind. I see every horror I've ever inflicted upon other beings. The only reason I keep m sanity no, is because I hope to At least try and help omeon in this accursed city.

Eliseai turned away from Ghost back to Matteus and still her expression seemed to judge and condemn him all in the same glance. "Did you honestly just compare your lack of sleep and fits of insanity to the rest of us?" She strode forward a look of fury replacing the judgement as she poked him in the shoulder hard, "(please do not swear) you! You came here, you took the job with these bastards. You had a childhood. You had a life...you chose this." She was forcing him back with every step, "I never had any of that. I never had a life. I was made this way. I was forced to kill people with my bare hands just to please people like you." She was almost frothing at the mouth, "And when I stopped and I rebelled, they placed me in that cell block under that captain knowing what he did to women!" Her hair had turned the color of flames and her hands seemed to become more beastial as her eyes turned pure black, "Did you really just compare your pathetic little problems to having a filthy man coming into your cell every night to touch, abuse, and (please do not swear)?"
She poked him backwards again and then pointed at Sunny, "What about him? Blinded him, used him, probably he never had anything either, and then they strung him out on drugs and he's still recovering...but even when he gets past that, he'll never see the beauty of a sunset, the look of passion in a lovers eyes, and (please do not swear) he won't even get to see the anguish of humanity. People like you took that from him!" She lunged at Matteus knocking him to the ground as she continued to scream at him, "What about 62?" He's a human child they forced to destroy his own creations...you think he's going to find love or acceptance looking like that? DO you really think your lack of sleep can begin to compare to what they've done to him and taken from him." Even as he struggled against her he felt her hands clamping around his throat.
"And then what about Ghost here... no face, treated like an animal. Mentally barren. A shell of a boy." Slowly, her hands released his throat as she looked away. "The fact that you think you can begin to understand only shows how much like them you are..." She rose her face and form shifting back to normal as she reached Sunny and offered him a hand up so that they could follow Ghost.
As they passed Matteus out to the hall way she didn't even look at him as she said, " I'm glad they make you remember it...at least that way your victims have some justice."

Mateus remained calm, physically at least. However, Ellesai got a flash in her mind of the rolling insanity andof the anger building in his mind. "Your hearing what you want to hear. I said it myself. Your problems are worse than mine. And I told you I wanted to Atone for the flash.hopes and empty promises I gave. I tried to save people. I took the job here so I could save people!" Mateus voice was shaking now, so he let out a breath, and relaxed. "Go ahead. If you want to leave me here, go. You honestly seem to belive that Im evil like them. I wont waste my breath tryingbto make you see reason. But I thought you were better than that, Ellesai."

Sunny had gone into a trance, a mix of the morphine's effects and the recognition of that name. 'Doc Icarus' was what he knew him as, having a very tangental role in the mental health of child subjects such as Sunny. 3 years ago, Dr Icarus helped the then 13 year old Sam Arthurs deal with the loss of his sight, helped him deal with the constant radiation sickness, being separated from his twin brother Oscar for similar treatment for they both had the mutation that would help contain the electromagnetic stresses of - HIS BROTHER OSCAR!
The tick-like Cerebite on his shoulder squealed in pain; the Geiger counter screamed an electronic cacophony; the over sized military jacket he acquired was beginning to smoke and burn, as did the the drugs burn off as his blood boiled; light lights glowed white hot and exploded; a red glow engulfed him as white plasma arched from his hands; The concrete beneath him scorched; his white marble eyes now shone a brilliant, ultraviolet blue. The others took cover, if not from the the fear of the partial radiation than the intense heat. The discomfort of withdrawal was but a shadow of what his physiology was dealing with now.
The ionization of the air obscured Sunny's voice, it sounded as if it were electronically distorted. "If I trust you again, you read me the details of my file and tell me where my brother is," Mateus gave a worried look with the mention of Oscar. Sunny responded, the jacket had turned to ash at this point, his pants (with the shirt Mateus used as a sling supposedly designed to withstand the effects of Sunny's out put) discoloured to black. The distortion getting worse, with a metallic raw he replied to Mateus' confused look "Where's my brother!?"
His body couldn't take this anymore without making Hiroshima look like a fire cracker or collapsing into a coma. The latter occurred, the room darkening to pitch black, he collapsed on the ground like a puppet who's stings have been severed. There hasn't that much sign of life other than the barely noticeable breathing.
ooc - I still might now be around a whole lot so if you just want to leave my character there or lug him around until I return than that's all good.

Ghost used a spout of intangibility to avoid the heat. When he finally dropped to the floor, Ghost relaxed, before a familiar pain arose in his lungs. In moments he was coughing blood as if he'd smoked for decades. The bout subsided, they could hear him suck in a rough breath before exhaling. He took a look to Mateus, still guiltless. Ghost had never met him. As operations went on at the facility , deadlines became closer, things got rougher. Although Ghost could never remember, by the time he awoke from his year long sleep he was beyond therapy. Not even chided words of a psychologist could help his damaged soul. What came to surprise Mateus was the look in Ghosts eyes. They seemed... respectful, slightly wistful.
