"The boy looks familiar. But why? 59..." Mateus looked thoughtful. "Was he your Partner? In the Gemini project? Or something else? Why can I remember him, but nothing about him?" Mateus tail flexed in agitation. "I might be able to find him. I'd have to go into your mind though. And I won't invade the sanctity of your mind if you do not wish me to." He offered a hand to 62, gently, like he wasn't insisting.

"Was he your Partner? In the Gemini project?"
62 shook his head at the question as sadness radiated from him. They had been more than partners but he felt as if now wasn't the time to talk about it so instead the image of a beautiful woman with black hair appeared standing at the head of a large group of subjects, 62 being one of them. When she spoke her tone was soft and silky but seemed to hide a feeling of malice.
"Welcome to the Titan project. Many of you will not live and the few of you that do will regret that you did. Now pleasantries aside you will be taken away for processing and partner assignment." She simply stated before the image faded and replaced with another.
This time the image of a room appeared holding nothing more than two small beds. Sitting cross legged on one of the beds was the purple eyed boy a scowl dominating his face as he picked at the sheets. After a few seconds he looked up "You better not drag me down. I'm not losing because of someone else." A sting of pain crossed 62 but other wise the memory vanished like the other.
When Mateus extended his hand it took 62 a few seconds to realize what was happening as most of the Twins where asleep and the Stalker was paying no attention, but when he did 62 reached forward slowly until he could feel by the body temperature he was just out of reach. There he sat not sure if he really wanted to know but another image of the boy appeared this time giggling at something he couldn't see. Making up his mind 62 crossed the last few centimeters separating them and grabbed his hand firmly motioning towards his children. The meaning was simple.
Don't go in their heads.

Sam lay on the shore, half way into sleep, feeling so comfortable next to Eliseai. Then he opened his eyes...
With a grimace of pain he had his hands to his face, "It's so bright!" he moaned. Slowly his eyes opened from a squint. Whatever in their connection was making the state of his eyes conform to Eliseai's had completely brought back his sight. He laughed stupidly as he saw the green in the palm trees, the white of the sand, the blue of the sky, the red of some unknown berries growing on shrubs near the beach, the gleaming domes of the facility erupting from the rainforrest. The light was really bright for him, he closed his eyes to prevent an encroaching headache and kept them that way, not as if he really needed them, but he was so happy.
His stupid smile faded as he heard, about half a mile away, "Yeah, a radiation spike was found on this shore." "No way did Sunny survive that fall, it could be Agent O" "Command wanted all of them accounted for" "Well it's stronger in this direction...."
It sounded like a patrol of 4 or 5. He had to think fast. Looking at Eliseai who shared the same idea, the clicks and buzzes from the implants synced, he grabbed a rope conveniently in the sand and bound her hands, Sunny rested his hands on her shoulder and, without speaking asked, "DO you think you can bulk me up just a bit and make my hair brown like Oscars?" just then the soldiers were already within line of sight of them. Sunny opened his now sapphire eyes and announced confidently, although Eliseai felt him being scared to death that the rouse wouldn't work,
"Supernova 31, Agrent O reporting. 133au7y recaptured. What took you so (please do not swear) long?"

Eliseai knew what he was doing and she knew it was the best possible plan. They could try to walk through this jungle, especially not with a unit of guards following them so heavily. And even if they did there was a chance by the time they arrived they would be too late to find the others.
So when the guards finally reached their position she was ready. It was now that Sunny saw what her year in their cell block had given her, an incredible ability to act. "Sorry sir. We were tracking a lot of signals since that freak leveled that part of the compound." the leader came forward towards Eliseai holding up a scanner and nodding. "He's got the changeling." He nodded as the other guards moved forward towards her. "Well won't the boys at the lab be pleased. They've been waiting for her." The guard reached towards his belt and pulled out a metallic looking object that blinked. He reached towards Eliseai and she played the part well biting down on his hand as hard as her teeth allowed, Sunny noticed she'd added fangs to her mouth at that moment. "Get away from me you piece of (please do not swear)." the captain in command gritted his teeth moving backwards in slight pain. He turned his teeth forming into a grin. "Restrain her." the guards looked weary of the task, but they ultimately complied and Eliseai fought them the entire time howling hatred and rage.
The unit captain leaned over her finally restrained in the sand form and drew the zipper on her radiation resistant outfit down until he could see her collarbone. "Don't worry, this is only going to hurt for a second." the strange little device unfolded and he pressed it against her collarbone. She howled at this, and Sunny could tell this wasn't fake, she was in pain. Her form was shuddering, he could tell because the guards had stepped back as it flickered and finally stabilized.
The unit leader turned grinning at Sunny in Oscar's place, " Guess the doc was right. Thing works on her at least." he pointed at the guards to lift Eliseai which they did. She resisted briefly but without her shifting capabilities it was hard. They soon had her chained and were dragging her along at a quickened rate which forced her to stumble.
The unit leader dropped back to walk alongside Sunny. While he was doing this Eliseai kept turning to look at them and yell hateful things at them. "We were partners you jerk. How could you. You brainwashed sleeze. Hey admiral, I bet you don't do (please do not swear) for missions because your brain is like your dick. Small!" she tripped as the guards purposefully yanked her chain causing her to be dragged along the ground for several yards before they stopped and she managed to stand up.
"That's fine girl. It'll still be plenty to deal with you later." he turned grinning wolfishly at Sunny , "Spirited girl. Must have been some partnership seeing you two together." he turned back to watch another display of Eliseai hitting the ground as the guards yanked her chain forcing her to stumble into the surf. She was dragged along in the water for awhile before they grew bored of this and allowed her to stand.
"Well, command has decided to move the resources here to the next dome. Seeing as you have the freak, command has issued a boat for you and the girly. Then from there, we should have a copter waiting to take us the rest of the way to the dome. Bit slower than the train, but it'll have to do." from there he went silent as they walked along the coast Sunny could see a boat approaching them. The guards had returned to pushing Eliseai about and she'd seemingly given up on walking and was allowing them to drag her. She kept reaching towards her collarbone which as she got closer to the device caused the unit leader to shout towards his men to not allow this.

Sunny could hardly hold back, he felt her urging them not to give this away. He saw a wharf ahead. "Seeing as you have the freak, command has issued a boat for you and the girly. Then from there, we should have a copter waiting to take us the rest of the way to the dome. Bit slower than the train, but it'll have to do." "That's annoyingly inconvenient," said Sunny in his ruse, keeping himself from punching him after how he was treating Eliseai, "I have personal orders from Doctor Arachnae has requested her UNDAMAGED as soon as possible." The mention of her name got the soldiers to ease off as they rendezvoused with the the watercraft at the end of the wharf. "Oh, sergeant, please remember your superior is one of those freaks."
It had not been 20 minutes traveling before the radio crackled into life, "Epsilon, calling Epsilon. Are you on board? Over" The sergeant moved to the bridge of the vessel. "This is sergeant McBride of Team Epsilon, we read you. Over" "Can you confirm that you're with Agent O? Over." "Yes, why is that, do you request to speak with him? Over" "Agent O is also in a critical condition in the Dome 5 infirmary. Over"
Eliseai panicked at what they heard, not concentrating, Sunny's disguise was blown as his hair grayed to white. Knowing he was in trouble a familiar red glow appeared, but he was in no condition to fight. The guards surrounded him. "Watch it men. Sunny here's a bomb." Oh how he hated a guard saying that name. 3 of the men surrounding him had net guns, target priority was not in his side. Suddenly, the her heard the one from behind but it hit him before he could avoid it. He tried to melt the net but his powers were even more stunted when the second slammed into him. By the time the 3rd was around him, upping his radiation output was like punching a wall. He felt a slight sting in his shoulder, he drowsily faded to sleep the last thing he recalled were the concerned cried of Eliseai.
We woke up with his legs and arms bound to a slab. As he slowly awoke his echolocation picked up the room of lab coats around him as they wheeled him into a room where he entered a conversation. "....but the plan says-" "I don't care. We're not lobotomizing him. The fact that you couldn't brainwash him just means he's smarter and better than his twin. Lobotomizing 32 is almost as bad of an idea of your conception, Romulus!" "Arachnae! He's dangerous! His output is so strong that it latently blinds him and kills melanocytes. He would have been blinded for life if that stolen implant you snuck in hadn't bonded and his retina had such a great sympathetic response." "Like I said, he's better than his brother. Leave him to me, you can just leave. All of you, LEAVE!" Barked the voice of an older woman. It was cold, each word seemed to carry the razor of spite. Suddenly, when all had left but those two, it warmed.
"Hello. My name is Doctor Laura* Arachnae. Samuel Arthurs, I've been hoping so much to meet you. I've been watching your progress through the security footage - very impressive Sam. Mind if I call you Sam? You're better than your brother, he was weak in mind and lacks you finesse in control. You learned to use your hearing to compensate for your blindness, you remained resistant against our best brainwashing techniques. I chose the easier job, I chose the wrong brother" "Where is she?" Sunny croaked, facing her with his eyes closed not quite used to using them again,"Where is El-" "You should use those eyes again Sam, now you can. I don't need to rescue you sight light I did your brother's. I assure you she's alright. you were quite right when you said on that wharf I wanted her undamaged, those leashes have recording devices. Your brother is far more brutal than that. He would have killed that man for calling experiments freaks." She put up on a screen of Eliseai in a holding cell. "I need her, and she will remain unharmed if you cooperate. Your sweet puppy love and assurence of your intellegence is all I need to trust you won't do anything stupid. But you know how she's feeling, that implant I snuck you has bound to hers some how."
She unstrapped him and helped him up. "Come" she beckoned, Sunny not sure how to take this woman She was far from a friend but for now she's all he had. She lead him several floors down an elevator. Staff seemed to form a quick, informal guard of honour as she strode the hallways, Sunny following like an estranged puppy. They came to a hall of living quarters where it opened into a small apartment. "This is my quarters. For some strange reason they gave the top staff guest quarters in a top secret facility. Oh, the wisdom that wields our taxes. I want you to have a good rest. I'll make my greatest assurances she'll be alright Sam. You probably haven't eaten for ages, I'll get them to make sure to make you a breakfast for a King. I'll have you together with Eliseai tomorrow, I don't want that connection strained too far. Hopefully then you'll be in the mood to talk to me. Good night."
Sunny took the guest bed. He reached out to Eliseai's mind, "Did you here all that El? Wh-What are we to do now?"

(Mantis, I think your going I have to describe what Matteus then see's)
Convinced he'd got them working on something, Ghost stood up, patting 62 on the shoulder before walking lazily to the window. Once again the blackness stretched out with such incomparable volume. Looking at it made him zone out of the train, content only with the ocean. Some of the events that'd been playing out in his head. Half of him tried of deny what was almost certain, what other explanation was there, a boy, a shape shifting girl and that oh so familiar giggle. All in a place he'd never known, feeling so distinctly different to the awful dinge and disparity of the facility. Although it was small, a part of his mind felt betrayed, the reason he was here. Just following orders no doubt, still in blissful ignorance about the facility. To bring in another kid to take part in a program. Not knowing that they'd robbed him of what he'd had, a life, and what he could've had. Dragged under the Atlantic under sedatives , every drug under the sun pumped into him. Now he wanted to clench his fist in anger, but he didn't, part of him still thinking this was unacceptable.
He replayed the scenario in his mind, a syringe, a room with a bed and a window, from which a beam of cold light came. It astounded Ghost to think of a light beyond the harsh noisy wall lamps of the prison. To him, it was rather beautiful, something so ordinary to all had become a marvel.
He got out of his train of thoughts, worried where it might lead, turning to the other two. Still deep in concentration, he left them, coming over to the interface. The dial read 10 minutes. He sighed, desperate to be out. He eyes wandered around the board, noticing a section titled "communication" in which a pare of head phones, along with a microphone and a screen shaping various "channels" out of nothing but curiosity he slid the headphones over his ears, clicking a random channel. Only hearing white noise, he clicked the next. This time there were voices, speaking slowly and coherently. "Move 3 squads to train ramp, neutralise without prejudice." Apparently they knew they were coming, then the same voice stopped his usual tone, offering a more alerted one. "Wait a second, they're using communication on the train, cut the lin-" white noise exploded into his ears.
He turned to the other two, both coming out of the trance. "They're waiting for us, we need to be ready." He looked around expectantly for a weapon. There was none, so he turned to them all collectively "don't stand in the way of the door, let the bullets go through me, then blow them away." He moved over to the exit, preparing himself for the amount of power he need for this.

(OOC- That would make sense... Was getting kicked out the door when I wrote the last post so its probably better I'm doing this now.)
As Mateus moved into 62's mind he could sense the mass of memories pressing down on him like water, everyone of them demanding to be seen and felt. For a few seconds he watched as a knife sank home into 62's stomach accompanied by an explosion of pain, yet the entire time a sense of sad happiness could be felt. Before another memory could appear however the agitated presence of 62 pushed the stray thoughts away.
Not entirely sure what to do 62 gave a tug on Matues's mind before delving deeper, to a part of his mind that felt cold and empty. Before Mateus could follow a great flare of pain filled him. Pain unlike any he had felt before. He tried to withdraw but something kept him pinned like a mouse trapped under a boot.
"What are you doing here?" A disembodied voice rang out its tone full of anger. "You can't meddle in this! Otherwise he will never remember it all!"
The pain increased even more as a mental probe forced its way into Mateus's mind knocking aside every defense he put up. With a grim form of efficiency as if the presence had done it many times before it cracked open the cage that contained his memories and quickly rifled through everything it could get its "hands" on, taking particular interest in anything to do with 62.
At this point Mateus became vaguely aware of 62's presence return and in a vain attempt try to assist him, though he didn't no what to do. He had been in peoples minds before but most had been his design. When Mateus was beginning to think the pain would tear him apart the pressure lessened and the voice somewhat withdrew.
It sat silent for a few seconds before saying in a cold tone "If I had been free when you did that..." A mental picture of several children Mateus had treated flicked past. "Then you would have died a long time ago. He could feel everything you know... But he seems to have forgiven you. Be glad Sixty was always the soft one..."
With a flick of its mind the voice repaired Mateus's memories as if it was no harder then putting two puzzle pieces together. "And it seems like you genially want to help... Perhaps you could be of use then..." And with that the image of a sealed door appeared to Mateus, the words "Mental Rehabilitation Ward 4B" written on them in large letters. He recognized the place as the shut down ward that the training facility was built over.
"Bring Sixty to that room. I'll do the rest..." And with that Mateus was forced back into his own head the voice only letting go once it was sure he was back to what he should be. "And stay out of his head. I don't appreciate it..." Then the presence of the voice dissipated.
When Mateus started to take sense of his surrounding again he saw 62 was trying to shake him awake. His twisted expressing even under his mask of skin expressed worry. A stark change from the usual snarl he greeted him with.

ooc- Actually, her First name Was Lauren. So your very Very close, but Not Quite. You've got her character down though. Sweet, Smiling, stunning... and Poisonous to the core.
Also, when the Other presence in 62's head entered Mateus's, he would have been bombarded with the nightmares of others, And an overpowering sense of Grief and Dispair. As well as one mental Block that you couldnt et past- one that even Mateus cant get past. Its clearly from an outside presence.
ic- Mateus Slowly woke up. "Damn... You've got one powerful friend in there. But, I think I managed to find out a little About him. The Titan project. I wasn't an official part of it, but I did the psych profiles for about half the Kids who went in. I might have done the Psych profiles on your friend. What was him name..." He was cut off by Ghost. "Soldiers? Right... right um... We don't have any weapons do we. Asides from my abilitys." he looked at the other 2. "What should we do?" He listened to Ghosts suggestion and looked back at 62. "Prometheus. That was your project name, right? Can I call you that? And what do you think?"

(OOC- I know about the misery part, just showing the it is that determined/strong it didn't bother with it. As for the other wall assume it was either untouched or not found)
The skin around 62's mouth tightened into what might have been a smile on any normal face, but on his it only served to outline his unused gun. He shook his head sadly as Mateus asked him about his name.
"Never again." The timid teenage voice spoke up over the still unsevered connection.
Another male voice replaced the first "Let's call you Sixty..." it giggled before going quiet.
When Ghost mentioned his plan 62 turned his mind back to his children to find they where all standing around expectantly. He allowed them to feel his weary sense of happiness at their determination before glancing back at Ghost.
His power had a terrible toll on him and it would be unfair to cause him any more pain. Before he could even think of a way around it one of the Pale Twins pulled on his legging and pointed as it quickly flashed an image of its idea to 62. He was a little reluctant to agree but he nodded towards it.
As Ghost was about to put himself in front of the door 62 walked over and put a hand on his shoulder. The two Pale Twins took up a position on either side of the door twitching a little as a shimmering barrier covered the door. The Stalker and on its back one of the Twins moved beside 62, while the Twin that was close to Sunny stayed with him.
Looking back 62 motioned to Mateus to join them. If he was going to use his power then he was going to be with them. 62 even kept the link open and through it he could feel that whatever was going to happen 62 would help. After all he had felt many forms of pain in his life as if he had experienced them himself for no other reason then he felt responsible for his children. It was a great sign of kindness that he now extended the same offer to Mateus.

Eliseai had panicked, she knew that it was taking everything in Sunny to use her power which he wasn't accustomed to. And that broke it. As the guards descended on Sunny she was powerless to halt them. But that didn't stop her rage as they sedated and netted him. "Get off of him you dogs!" She managed to break one of the guard's noses with a well delivered kick and crumple another with a kick to the groin but rather quickly they had her once again restrained and despite her screaming his name Sunny didn't come to. The flight was long, and she sat sullen as various guards harassed her for the flight towards the facility. Eventually she was curled into a ball and she was repeating the words. "I can't handle this. This isn't what I want." over and over in a whisper.
Several hours later they reached the facility. Two of the guards dragged Sunny out on a stretcher. She felt a blow on the back of the head and an order to stop staring and start walking. A woman in a lab coat met them at the pad and immediately approached Sunny reaching out to touch him Eliseai kicked the nearest guard again and made a lunge for her. "If you touch him I'll tear you to shreds." The guards caught onto her rather quickly, it was a pathetic attempt that could only be made by a desperate individual. She continued to thrash and howl at the woman who only grinned in response to Eliseai's threat. It took seven guards to finally restrain her and place her in a holding cell.
The cell was perfectly dark, there was a cot in the corner but Eliseai immediately went back to her old ways and sat in the corner in a fetal position. With nothing left to do, and a hoarse voice from screaming. When Sunny attempted to contact her he found that her thoughts and voice were like echoes over a great space. He knew she hadn't heard. Her voice came like a whisper, barely heard, "It is so dark. I can't hear anymore. I can't handle this." then he felt the voice fade off. She'd fallen asleep.
She slept for several hours uncomfortably. As they looked in on her. "What do you think Arachnae?" "I need some tests, but I think she's destabilizing. That cell block may have damaged her beyond our best guesses." "Well we should look at her before the boy wakes." "Get her."
Eliseai was shaken awake and dragged into the lab by two guards while she was still too stunned to fight. She was lifted onto a table and her radiation suit was stripped away. Then the guards were dismissed and she sat up covering herself. Moments later the woman from earlier stepped in. "Hello Elise." Eliseai looked up no look of recognition coming from her.
"Who are you?" "We have met before, Eliseai." "No. No we haven't. Where is Sam?" "Sam is fine. And Yes we have. But I'll humor you, I'm Dr. Arachnae."
Eliseai gave her a look of pure malice and distrust as the woman approached and reached towards her collarbone. She smacked her hand away. "Don't touch me."
The woman looked irritated at this "Elise. You know that I'm going to get to do what I want. But if you don't cooperate then you'll not only be endangering yourself but also Sam."
Eliseai's eyes grew large at this and her head sagged. "Don't hurt him. I'm sorry. That wasn't polite." The woman grinned openly at this and approached again reaching for her collarbone implant and prodding it with a small metallic stick that caused it to recoil into her hand. Eliseai writhed on the table briefly refusing to scream for the pain as her form returned to its natural state of light flux. The woman watched the readings on a screen with interest.
After a moment Eliseai turned glaring. "Is that all you have for me today Doctor?" her voice was thick with venom.
"I'm sure that feels better. And no it isn't. I want to look at your cortical implant and ask you some questions while monitoring your brain."
Eliseai sighed at this "Can I have clothes? Please." she added as an afterthought. The woman grinned. "Shape shift some. I'm not giving you what we both know your training would allow you to use as a weapon."
Eliseai grimaced but her form fluctuated so that it appeared she was clothed. What followed was a series of tedious tests. First she was shown pictures and asked to name them and describe her feelings and knowledge of them.
Oscar's picture flickered onto the screen. "O. I was his helpmate until we did something." Arachane prodded her. "What is his full name and what did you do?" Eliseai sighed. "We uhh disobeyed a direct order to terminate another test subject...and his name is...Oscar?"
Another picture flickered to the screen. "Matty. He's one of the escaped subjects. We are friends. I like him."
"Subject 62. I like him. He's one of my fellow escapees."
"Ghost. I don't know anything about him."
"This is you. I don't know you at all. But you say we've met."
"Sammy or Sunny as many call him."
"What do you feel about Sammy and how is he related to you?"
"I'm not answering that. It isn't your business."
"Answer or he gets no food."
"Sammy is my new partner. I am his companion. I feel deeply attracted to him. I care for him...a lot."
Arachnae approached her and fiddled about with her implant for about a half hour before dismissing her with a smile. "Remember to behave yourself for these men. Otherwise I'm sure we have a good dose of psychoconvulsant for Sam." Eliseai stuck her tongue out at Archnae as she walked back to her cell and sat down again to wait for what came next.

Taking an anxious look back at the others, Ghost stepped over to the trains light switch, a flick plunging the whole room into darkness. Then he stood waiting by the doors, the anticipation killing him as he waited for the transport to dock.
"There's now way you can survive this alone..." Ghost heard the whisper of that familiar charismatic voice, coming from thin air beside him.
"You can't know.." Ghost replied annoyed, for some strange reason he felt so comfortable with the presence, as if they'd been old friends for many years. In truth Ghost had no recollection of it, he just acted on whims.
"Oh but I can Ghost, you have limits and they'll find them."
"So what the hell do you propose?" the voice of Ghost growing irate.
"I'll lend you a hand..."
The train came to the station, Ghost trembling with fear as LEDs lit up around the door signalling the opening, jets of steam audible.
Into view came at least ten ordinary guards, carbines set on the door. A flash light flickered onto Ghosts form , illuminating him for all to see.
"Target confirmed, open firughh." He was cut off, a hole appearing from nowhere in the middle of his neck, causing him to collapse, gasping for a breath that wouldn't come.
Ghost took the moment, running forwards, bursts of fire raking his form, breath flashes of light as Ghost closed the distance. He threw a wide punch, colliding with a cheek, causing the guard to cliche his face in pain. Reacting, a guard aimed at him with the butt of a rifle, loosing his balance as it met nothing. Ghost reached out with intangible hands, suddenly turning solid creating and in a spray of blood the guard fell dead. He felt the heat of a carbine pointed point blank at his head, the wielded finding it wrestled out of his hands. The floating firearm opened up, takin down several guards.
A massive thump occurred as Ghost was brutally hit on the back of the head, dazing him as the pain erupted. He lashed out in response, landing a foot in the guard's stomach, tackling him to the ground.
Ghost threw rapid savage fists at the face and neck, creating the horrendous noise as the nose was shattered. In moments the man was unconscious, but Ghost found himself surrounded, isolated as the guards were reinforced, the noose tightening fast.

Sunny woke up, sitting up in his bed rubbing his eyes and coughing to clear his dry throat. He woke up without the skin suit and camo pants that he went to sleep in but in a air of boser shorts. His left clavical ached and when he reached for it he found a metallic disk jutting out of it. He looked out through thr port like window to the tropical morning. He wasn't used to using his eyes, still hearing the shapes and objects in adjecent rooms. The rest of the quarters, next door. He could even hear a rather spiteful conversation happening a way down the hall way.
"...but Dr Arachnae, I can't believe you're treating him like this. He's possibly killed up to 50 men alone" "That boy was scared and powerful. Your grunts were confident and stupid. Not to mention he is worth 50 more!" "They were sons and daughters-" "They were young fools who signed up for an adventure, don't glorify them. It's your fault they failed me." "Failed you? Since when do you hold any military authority?" "I don't. But over recent years I have acquired the academic authority." "Huh, right. Academic authority" "Yes, you see if I want to start a project I don't have to pass it by an ethics committee or a funding board or any of that nonsense. If I want to start an experiment on the effectiveness of a 9mm bullet through your thick skull I can under my own authority. That girl who serves as your personal guard. She can be our percieved skull thickness control..." "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT FROM, PUT IT AWAY!" Sunny heard a lound bang and the sound of a body hit the floor as staff screamed in reaction. "Now for the tested variable." "NO, PLEASE, I'M SORRY. PUT THAT DO-" Dr Arachnae turns to a man and woman with a trolley. "Results: having a thick skull does not reduce the lethality of a 9mm bullet. Nobody is obstructing you now. Please coninue with the task I set you, I am busy at this moment." Sunny heard the door to the door to Arachnae's quarters open. He then heard knocking at the door that seperated her guest quarters from the rest of the flat, which startled him out of his horror enduced trance. "Uh, yeah, come in." Atop the trolley was a plate with a piece of toast, two sausages, two eggs, a rasher of bacon, half a tomato and some bean sprouts flanked by a picther and glass of orange juice. on the second level of the trolley wasa pile of folded clothing made from a similar black material as the black radiation resistant skin suit, a towel as well as a face towel, a bar of soap and a tooth brush. "Dr Arachnae said that you were welcome to use her bathroom and that you will be meeting Eliseai at ten hundren hours"
Sunny polished plate greedily and then took the first shower he had since the Atlantic incident. He slipped on the trousers and as he was putting on his shirt, Dr Arachnae walked in, statling him, warmingly greeting him. "Good morning Sam, did you enjoy you sleep last night?" "Oh, hi, I, uh d-doctor Ar-." "Just call me Lauren, Sam. Well you must have been hungry, you're going to put the dishwashers out of a job!" She giggled but her eyes seemed almost disgusted by her cheery appearence. "Um yeah. Uh, Lauren, what's this?" Sam asked, indicating towards his collar bone. "That just shows us vital signs, making sure you're all healthy and such. It's temporary. Come on, I know somebody itching to meet you." Sunny craked a grin. Arachnae's smile became more genuine, as if a predator had snarec its prey. As she lead him to the cell, the same icy aura that made staff in the halls fall silent and still around her. A grim looking janitor avoided her gaze as he mopped up the last of a viscous residue. They finally reached her holding cell. As soon as the door was open and he could see her, she greeting him raising up. He enthusiastically embraced her, the gemini bond returning to the strength it once was. As their thoughts intermingles, their memories was what had recently happened caught up. A familiar cromson glow erupted from Sunny.
He turned to face the Doctor, a gieger counter she carried indicated boaderline high levels of radiation. The heat was so intense it made her and the accompanying guards back out of the room, Eliseai retaining Sunny's resistence. "You lied to me..." "Sorry Sam, what was tha-" "You lied to me! You assured me that she would be okay!" A tiny shockwave accompanied with a boom. "Sam, I can explain, she resisted" White plasma arced from his hands. "Get her some clothes and out of this cell, NOW!" Suddenly Sunny shone a blindingly bright UV explosion, hands clamped on either side of his head, as an ultrasonic frequency was emitted from a device from Arachnae's hand, overloading Sunny's sensitive hearing. When he was brought to his knees. The geiger counter indicated normal levels (or normal for bwing around Sunny) and two guards brought him to his feet while a thirt pointed their carbine at Eliseai. "It's not control of your powers Sam, you have that down somwhere between breathing and blinking. You need control of your emotions. I want to do a check up on you, if you share her memories, you'll know all we want is-" "Get her some clothes and get het out of this cell!" Arachnae hardly contained her rage under her cool demeanorm Sunny blatently disrespecting her like that. She calmed her self down and tried to warm to him again. "Okay. If you cooperate Sam, a senior security manager has recently, uh, retired. You two may share his quarters."
With a nod, Eilseai was taken away to the apartment of the commander the doctor had murdered just hours before. Sunny while subjected to the same tedious tests and questioning, having Eliseai's memories, this was the longest spout of deja vu experienced, Sunny must have thought until they came to the last picture which instead of Sunny- was Eliseai. "We're almost done Sam, one to go." She didn't seem to even fatigue throughout this tedious onslaught. "Her name is Eliseai, she's from project adaptation and her subject number is 1337" "Go on" the doctor prodded. "Well I, uh, sorta think that I uh" "Speak up Sam" "Why do I have to say it? You already know. Just finish this already!" Sam pleaded. "You choose when this finishes Sam," She preached, "and if it's so obvious than what is there ti hide?" "Fine. I think I love her, okay?" Sam surrendered in an frustrated yell, "I love her and you know it and you know it's better than any cell" The doctor's cold expression erupted into a warm grin so easily, diminishing the meaning of a smile "Okay, we're done".
Sunny was brought to the quarters where they were detained. Eliseai's face lit up when he was in there but he couldn't bring himself tolook at her, falling on old habits of hearing his way around, a glum expression on his face. She felt his familiar feelings of shame and self blame. "Why do I keep (please do not swear) up El? We were finnally free and than my great plan got us lockd back up again. I tristed that btch, i got you hurt more!" His radiatin output increasing with his emotions, papers on a stealdesk by the door began to smoke and catch alight and the room glowed red, "It's always my fault. Why am I so stupid!?"

When Eliseai had been led into the room it wasn't long before she was demanding things from the guard posted outside. Clothes, food, and the removal of quite a load of garbage. Although he resisted taking her orders his commander soon arrived having been ordered to check on her and gave him the tongue lashing of a life-time. When the guard's returned with her requested items she dragged them into the small space and decided to take a shower.
Although she wasn't exactly dirty since their dip in the ocean she still enjoyed the hot water against her skin. She couldn't really feel Sunny from so far away so instead she dug through the clothes they'd sent her selecting a pair of radiation resistant shorts and a tank top. With much concentration and changing her form she managed to brush her hair out and then sit herself down. It was then she realized she knew nothing of cooking. Her food had always been supplements and bars. She looked at what a normal person would recognize as an apple and took a tentative bite of it. Not used to the sweetness she dropped it in astonishment at the delight. Then she sat munching her way through 5 of them before Sunny arrived. The apartment was pretty sparse except for the furniture.
Eliseai had all the remnants of the previous tenant removed. She looked up at him gulping a piece of apple. She saw the glum expression and had she not just polished off an apple on her new shirt she probably would have shared his expression. But instead he only saw a look of contentment and pleasure on her face. He could tell that his prescence had only heightened this in her. Then he started yelling and she pulled herself up by the table and moved over towards him shaking her head, “No no I'm fine. Really I'm fine. She could see the apples starting to smolder and she sighed a bit at this but her attention quickly returned to the matter at hand. Sunny was heating up again and her instincts told her to distract him from his obvious desire to yell.
“Look I'm fine really. I've eaten. And I'm clean. And okay getting dragged up a beach and harassed sucked, but I've been through worse. I'm just glad your okay. Dr. Archnae's a piece of work and a hag, but don't let her get to you. I'm more worried about the others than us.” she could see he wasn't really feeling better at the mention of the others and she mentally kicked herself for this.
The apples were beginning to char. So she used the only method left in her brain. She reached out with her foot while he was still carrying on and tripped him. He hit the floor a little harder than she'd intended, but it had caught his attention. She was standing with her hands on her hips at this point and she had an amused grin on her face. “Wah wah wah poor me. I ruin everything. Boo hoo. My girl got hurt and I need to blame myself.” she shook her head. “You are emotionally all over you know that. Not that our predicament is what I'd call wonderful, but there are a lot worse situations to be in than trapped in a room with good food, a bed, and nowhere to go.” she turned back towards the table and began to sort through the fruit for what wasn't destroyed. It mostly amounted to a few apples and many oranges. She reached out lifting a still hot orange and bit into and grimacing until she found the actual fruit. She chewed and swallowed and then lifted up the remaining apple and sat back on the table looking at Sunny in a combative way. If it weren't for his implant he might have missed it, but he could tell she was studying him in a way that communicated attraction.

Mateus smiled and felt his mind connect to 62's - only lightly, not invading, but there. As the fighting broke out, amteus flung his hands out, a group of soldiers suddenly burst out in screams of terror, fllling their Comm-Channels with screams and brekaing all pretense of radio silence. Several pulled out of formation and backperdaled, firing at random targets- the air, their friends, even themselves. A Couple of them broke free of the mind torture, but evidently the damage was done, they werent moving very fast.
As Ghost went into combat, Mateus changed targets, focussing on the ones closing in to ghost, but not within reach of the Deadly combatant. Several guards started attacking things at random as they moved towards him, one even going so far as to turn on the commander, who had to execute the man. Through all this, Mateus face remained saddened. 'Pointless, pointless waste of life.'

As the fighting broke out 62 decided to sit back and play a more supportive role than he would have liked, getting the Pale Twins to shield Mateus and Ghost from most of the gunfire while the Stalker lurked close behind making sure none of the guards surrounded them. He would have done more but with the Twins mostly filled the roll of his eye and ears along with defense in the Pale Twins case, and he didn't want to over extend the Stalker too much so recently after its recovery. So feeling more than a little useless he sat back and helped the others, occasionally grabbing a guard by the arm to turn him into little more than a withered husk.
When Mateus used his power 62 flinched slightly not ready for the sudden rush of pains that overcame him but he didn't sever the connection. Instead he did his best to ignore the pain and started to feel his own memories to Mateus. He wasn't sure if they would help but he hoped the images of hope and happiness would drown out the despair even if by a bit. Though he did try his best to keep the purple eyed boy out of them, he wasn't entirely successful but by the way Mateus was fighting he probably wouldn't even notice.
