"Sunny!" the voice echoed all around him in the darkness, it was Eliseai. He could hear the echoing of feet running all around him. He heard another whimper of fear closer by and a voice whispering "he can't help you, already you can feel your mind decaying." he heard Eliseai answering the voice once again closer to him but still echoing "shut up! shut up! Go away! Leave me alone." he heard a voice cackling and the call of Sunny again. "He can't help you, already you can feel it, memories mixing together. People and faces blurring. Your own sense of self fading. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but someday you won't know yourself or anyone. It will be the longest goodbye ever"
Sunny heard the screams of no no leave me alone again, but this time they crashed right into him with an oof and cry of terror. He turned to see Eliseai cowering and covering her head. She looked up at him her eyes flashing with recognition as she got to her feet and grabbed hold of him too afraid to even cry. "Sunny. You're here. Help me. The voice says I'm losing my mind. And I can't remember it right anymore." she clutched at him almost painfully a pleading look in her eyes, which strangely he could see with perfect clarity.
Before he could even ask remember what he was seeing it play out in the shadows around him:
"Hey, rainbows! What're you in for?" "I'm to be your helpmate. I was selected for the companion alpha program, " Eliseai leaned forward in her bed to grasp Sunny's hand with a smile. "So you're my conduit then?" "Guess so, and you're the weapon I suppose." They smiled together as Sunny turned motioning at his forhead,"They gave us these fancy matching implants so we could connect. Wanna try it?" Eliseai nodded scooting to the edge of the bed and taking his hand as an apparent bond formed. Slowly, they broke off the contact wide grins on both their faces. "You look like her." "Who?" "Jaq. I killed her. And I'm going to kill you." "What?" Eliseai laughed at this as Sunny lunged at her from his opposite hospital bed his hand meeting her face.
The Eliseai grasping at Sunny began to shriek at the shadows playing out the scene, "No no it wasn't him. I don't think he did that. Stop it. It wasn't him." The shadows didn't stop, just seemed to grow larger from her terror.
The elaborate nightmare seemed to continue as if pushed on by Sunny's existence and her fear. He could hear his own voice whispering that he was going to kill her, but instead, he just watched himself tearing at her clothing, a scene he now knew she must have suffered time and again by the guards of their cell block. The inevitable rape he witnessed didn't seem out of place even as he listened to the Eliseai in his arms cry out that it had never happened like that and shriek confusion at why she couldn't remember it any other way.

Sunny had no idea what was happening, why this was happening. "NO, that's not me! STOP! I would never hurt intentionally! I try not to-" Sunny realized what was happening. Their consciousnesses were almost one. He hadn't noted all his thoughts had changed, his memories distorted and they sorta seemed all around him. He understood the fear of Eliseai being hurt by him - it wasn't hers, it was Sunny's.
He felt like running to intervene in the memory. He finally got there, climbing through the vent, and Jaq was there to let him into her cell "Happy birthday Jaq" Sunny said with a smile, putting out microwave radiation interfering with the cameras. "My god Sam," Jaq gasped with her hands to her mouth, "You're the best friend I could ever have." "I told you I could do it. I can see better without eyes." Sunny gave a wink, like usual, not directly at the person but in their direction. "Well, nice for you to bring my present?" she said in a lower tone, licking her lips. "Present?" She pushed him onto the bed and pinned him down on top of him. "What are you doing?" He chuckled to who was now Eliseai "Why do you need to know what I have in store for MY present?" Eliseai responded with a cheeky smile, undoing hid uniform's buttons repeating "C'mon Sammy, why? WHY! WHY!"
They were in the wardens office, desk and all, everything on fire and the walls crumbling. "WHY!" Screamed a girl who flashed between Jaq and Eliseai, writhing in pain. "WHY ARE HURTING ME! WHY DID YOU KILL ME!" Sunny, flanked by 2 writhing guards, cuffed and on hi knees "I can't control it, Please, I'm sorry!" "This is your fault?" His mixed memory asked, pain twisting to anger "THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" "STOP IT! I'M NOT AT FAULT!" "IT IS!" the expression twisted to a devious smile, "you lost control and I'm dead," the girl's appearance shifted from Jaqs to El's "And you'll kill me. It's your fault Sam. You're a killer!" "It's not my fault!" he said in a pleading tone, "They made me this way, I didn't have control. I couldn't stop it if I wanted to. The fault isn't mine." They were no longer in the room but in water, bodies and debris floating around them. Eliseai was still standing there, on the water. "Than why are you blaming yourself? Are you stupid?" Sunny collapsed in surrender, floating on his back in the Atlantic. "I don't, not any more"
Mentally exhausted from this confusing mess, he attempted to wake them both up, sparks flying out of the internal remnants of his implant through the split in his brow. He whispered and he tried his best to draw them both into consciousness. "I'm not a killer El, I won't hurt you...."

Eliseai came awake with a start and a cough her body jolting slightly as her eyes opened to staring somewhat blankly at Sunny. Their minds were still too deeply connected. Each could hear the other's heartbeat and feel breathing pounding, rather especially from Eliseai who was hyperventilating and rubbing her hands over her chest and face feeling clammy sweat. She could hear his words, but it almost felt as if it were being spoken by someone else, not him or her. She let out small squeaks as her mind reacted to the terror that was ending.
She grasped at him in an almost childlike way, sitting up in his arms slightly and grasping at his neck, an action which caused him to topple over slightly. The action didn't break eye contact, she just kept staring at him although the look of terror was fading to be replaced with something else. Almost as if she were so completely bonded to his existence that she couldn't feel terror without his feeling it. Slowly, a smile spread across her face and she laughed strangely and let go of his neck to run her hands through her hair pushing it away from her face. She grinned at him and lifted her hand up giggling as his own hand shot up to meet hers. She smiled studying her hand against his. He could feel her elation and mind now. She smiled flexing her hand against his only too pleased when his hand mimicked the wave motion hers did. She turned her attention back to him their eyes meeting. "We are one now." her lips hadn't moved, but somehow he could hear it. She flexed her hand again against his. "I'm looking at you and you are looking at me through me back at you. My hand moves. Your hand responds." She grinned at him her hand breaking from his as she tapped his nose lightly with her pointer finger. "In your hands the means," he found his own hand raising to touch her forehead and he could hear her saying "In my heart the will."

They were almost extensions of each other's body. She seemed to know that Sunny was about to stand up because she did just before hand, their stare was held fast to each other's. Sunny's vision was improving even more after that. The last of the cataract still reflected in his pupils were now far less obvious. His lens hadn't softened yet to focus yet and the surface of his eye was just now gaining a healthy shine to them. For the first time in years he could see colour with his own eyes, he could see blues and greens so far, and he still had little luck reading or seeing things that were still. No matter, his hearing hadn't diminished a bit.
He noted her notcings, how he was wearing combat gear similar to the high ranking soldiers. "They're just over there" He said. Except he didn't. She heard it, he heard her hear it. This closeness was something to get used to but something Sunny was very comfortable with. Him telling her flashed memories of exactly where the bullet and radiation resistant armour was. She got to know other things about him that were so constant Sunny was no longer aware of them himself. She found out how annoyed he was that his nick name was Sunny because his friends adapted off the insults the guards spat at him. She also felt the relief of not feeling the guilt of the North Atlantic Incident anymore. She also felt how Sunny felt about her, he hadn't realized how useless it was pretending that he didn't.
Just as they were begin to notice the internal remnents of an implant thorught the cut in his brow- "I wonder" he heard a bestial voice in the distance. "Wonder what Doc?" Sunny replied to Mateus, the distrust he felt was so blatant to Eliseai.

She nodded as the directions towards new clothes hit her. She turned away from Sunny striding off to the place he'd thought of. She had no trouble finding the radiation resistant suits and then opening the compartment labeled for females. She tossed too large suits over her shoulder searching for one that wouldn't force her to alter her body too much to fit it. Eventually, she found one that mostly fit her slim body, She was forced to make herself a tiny bit shorter and more bodacious in order to make it fit snugly, but this was a task that hardly took any effort. She could feel Sunny's distaste from the other room.
Her mind began to run over this name Mateus. It was strange, she could tell that she'd once felt very strongly about him. But she couldn't say what that strong emotion had been. She held her head slightly a head ache slowly developing as she concentrated on what that emotion was. Anger. It had been an irrational anger. It was strange to her, that the whole feeling was numb. She walked back out of the room and her sight fell on 62. Sunny could feel emotions of deep affection and trust that were so powerful he had to concentrate to separate his own emotions for 62 from her's. Her gaze turned towards Ghost and he could feel respect and fear that was her's as well.
But then her gaze turned towards him. If her feelings for 62 had been strong, this was almost crippling. It was a chaotic storm of feeling. First there was trust, then empathy, a feeling of oneness, affection, all strong enough on their own to be a singular emotion, but like a brick the last one hit him, desire, lust, a wanting that he hadn't sensed.
It was a so suddenly contrasted when she looked over at Mateus and he felt a huge blank. "Matty. What's the plan?"

It didn't take long for 62 to follow the link of emotions to where the Stalker squatted staring over the lacerated remains of some machine man. As quietly as he could 62 moved into a position behind his child and placed a hand on its shoulder but it showed no sign of recognition that he was there, instead carrying on with its silent vigil.
With a great amount of care 62 reached down the mental link that connected him to his child and entered the confusing mass of thoughts that made up its mind. Without wasting any time he made his way to the part of its mind that seemed dark and unmoving like something had long ago died there. Jagged splinters littered the darkness and with a great jolt of sadness 62 realized what was missing. His child had simply lost all hope. Hope that they would ever escape. Hope that this would ever end. Hope that it could live without fear.
There was nothing.
This left one of two options available and the first he quickly discarded. This left the lesser of two evils and even though he hated doing it 62 cast around his mind for a thought, a feeling to implant in his child's head. Something to make it want to live. As if by its self a memory came to the front of its mind and even though 62 couldn't make it out clearly it gave him a deep sense of joy and safeness he had not felt in a long time.
Carefully he copied the memory and planted it into the darkest recesses of the Stalkers mind before withdrawing. There was nothing more to be done as the feeling would either take root and allow his child to see hope in the world again, or it wouldn't which only left the first option. Trying not to think about it too much he pulled away from the Stalker and quietly padded away as it twitched as if confused.
When he reached the edge of the group he caught a glance of himself through the eyes of one of the Twins and suddenly realized how exposed he was. It made him feel a little uneasy that he had been wearing nothing but a pair of ragged shorts for so long especially in the presence of a girl. How did he not realize this before?
With help from one of the Twins he managed to pick his way over to the pile of discarded cloths Eliseai had been sorting through and it didn't take him long to find a set of cloths his size and pull them over his tattered shots. Now wearing a set of maintenance overalls that could easily be unzipped to reveal his chest if needed, 62 made his way back to the group his still bare feet making no noise on the concrete floor.
Before he managed to sit down however the face of the Purple eyed boy pushed its self to the front of his mind before extending his hand. The image dissipated as quickly as it came but it still caused 62 to stagger slightly and afterwards it left him feeling strangely hollow. Shaking his head 62 sat heavily on a bit of discarded rubble before checking mentally on the Stalker.

Mateus looked over his shoulder at Sunny, hen jumped as Ellesai spoke from he other side. "How comes I can speak in people's minds easier than picking up a Stuffed toy, but can't hear you coming?" He sighed to himself. "I'm trying to convert tis power field into some kind of armour for me. armour weighs me down too much, and I don't like the feel. So I figud I'd do the same sorta thing. But I can't get it to a Lower, less power using setting.theres no super-battery, that died along with the walker." he sat, cross legged. Is sunny Alright? He asked, quietly, and in her head.

Sunny, although not used to it, loved this level of closeness, although he didn't know how they achieved it without an implant of his own- it's probably because his twin was partnered with her. His and her emotions were laid out so bare before each other. He could feel something familiar - wanting, yearning, lusting wot be with somebody. She was in love... SHE FELT THE SAME!. He looked over at her with a blushing smile, feeling a wave of elation.
Moving over ot Mateus, Sunny said with a cocky snicker, "That? Doc Icarus, Give me a healthy breakfast and I could probably power that for the next week."
Sunny wiped the now dried blood from his cheek that was trickled from the split in his brow, the bleeding almost stopped, from which he felt another sting. Mateus and Eliseai had noted this point the remnants of internal components of a Gemini implant.

Eliseai could feel his elation, but it seemed to become sower when he approached Mateus. She was trying to figure out why they had such differing emotions towards the man, but all she could think was this numb grey color in regards to Mateus. She shrugged it off moving over to what Mateus was tinkering with and she squatted next to him.
"Well I wasn't actually asking what you are doing...I meant...what is the group plan for us?" she scratched her head studying him as he worked for several moments. "I mean how are we getting out of the place, or where should we go for answers."
She glanced back at Sunny when he made his sarcastic remark and she raised her implanted eyebrow at him not understanding why he felt the need to approach Mateus like that. Mateus didn't seem to be in the mood. She could tell from his hunched over posture that he wanted to be left alone. She shrugged at this too and put a hand on his shoulder, "When you finish that, we should really get cracking on what to do. But having you be better protected is probably a really good idea." she stood up glancing at the others. 62 was changing too. She rubbed her head at this feeling hope that his human side was asserting itself. She would have to talk to him later.
Her eyes turned towards Ghost. He was strangely the most outcast of the group. He didn't try to interact with them all that often, and he seemed to lack trust. She accepted that, they weren't exactly anyone's idea of a perfect group. She grimaced despite this wishing he would make more of an effort to get along.
She turned back towards Sunny for the first time noticing that he had an implant of his own appearing where his brow had split. Now that was strange. She moved over towards him grabbing his arm to pull him towards the storeroom. she'd seen some medical supplies there. Maybe she could see what was up with his forhead. "let me look at that." she said glancing at his forhead.
When he finally followed her she found the medical supplies and motioned for him to sit on a crate so that she could reach him more easily. She realized that she could just make herself as tall as him, but her concentration wasn't on that. She rubbed some disinfectant over his brow to reveal the shiny metal more fully. Her eyebrows raised again as she looked at it. She grabbed some tweezers from the medical kit and slowly peeled back more dead skin to reveal the implant more fully. It almost appeared like it was trying to assert itself over the flesh that was there and reimplant itself. "Did you know you had this here?"

Mateus grinned as the device powered up and said 'There!'. A shimming shield enveloped his body, before disappearing again as he thumbed the power switch. Looking over to Ellesai, he saw her looking at the implants in Sunny. 'Most subjects do have them.' He said, taking hold of his shirt. Pulling it up. He turned, revealing a complex spiral right down his spine, ending on his shoulder blades. Dropping the shirt, hr lifted his hair, showing the one on his neck and around his ears. "I was part of the project too. Paired up with a Smoke and Mirrors type of guy. I failed in Project Prothean, so I was downgraded to Gemini. Then discarded completely after I killed my partner." He said it almost casually. "Another nightmare I have to live with. Seeing My enemies nightmares is one thing, but discovering that my partners greatest fear was Me, and my abilitys. That was a rough few months before I learned to live with that guilt." He knelt down. "What sort of man is your brother, really Sunny? Not then, but now. You got the best talk wit him, And I need to know."

"Did you know you had this there?" asked Eliseai. Sunny looked at himself using her eyes. "What the (please do not swear) is that!?" he exclaimed. "Most subjects have them," Mateus explained, "I was part of the project too. Paired up with a Smoke and Mirrors type of guy." "But I wasn't paired with anyone," Sunny recalled, "no one with 'indoctrinal issues' would be trusted with a project like this I would have thought. No one at the North Atlantic Facility had them from what I recall." He felt that he was dismissed but the implant had to have gotten there some how.
Mateus knelt down by him, "What sort of man is your brother, really Sunny? Not then, but now. You got the best talk wit him, And I need to know."
Eliseai suddenly felt really scared, abused and annoyed when Mateus said his nick name. These feelings were so common to Sunny that he didn't even notice them anymore but this was the first time Eliseai felt how Sunny reacted to his name. His friends had adapted it off one of the many insults the guards spat at him. He had flash backs of being pulled around by the hair in dark corridors before he hear his way around, the guards spitefully calling him Sunny and saying what a shame it was that he'd never see what a good job of being a torch he was. Eliseai realized that he had gone through this fearful, annoying downtrodden feeling every time he heard the word Sunny, how much he loved to be called Sam whenever those few moments arose.
While Eliseai was getting used to Sunny's strange reactions and feelings to his own nick name, Sunny attempted to answer his the question posed to him. "Who is he now? He's the same guy. It's been over 3 years but he's Oscar. Only...", he paused, recalling the discipline, indoctrination and propaganda he had copped in the past, "It's like he actually listened to that (please do not swear) they tried to feed to all the younger projects. They made him their puppet, they just kept his personality intact. Or maybe he was trying to trick me. I - I don't know!" Sunny seemed really uncomfortable, not apparent if it was thinking of his brother or Mateus being so close to him.
His ears pricked up
He ran to a wall and put hi hand on it, listening for what he could 'see'. "(please do not swear)! There's a squad of 3 or 4 lead by one of those big (please do not swear) about 20 metres away. He have to keep moving"

"It's possible that you were implanted after your... Transfer. If you had in doctrinal issues, they would ave looked for a partner that would be able to hold you back, more than likely with his mind. But they didn't get one you say? Interesting..." Standing up, he picked up a small object from the pile of weapons, flicked a switch in it, then tossed it on the floor of the tunnel. "Right, opposite way. Lets go." He said, offering Sunny a Hand to get to his feet.

As 62 entered the Stalkers mind a wave of relief washed over him as what had once been dark and empty was now bright and full of life. Thoughts of freedom and life sailed across the swirling sky of thoughts like meteorites, but even as he relaxed 62 couldn't help but feel a twinge of worry bite at him. One thought shouldn't have been able to bring about all this. At least not this quickly...
At the time he hadn't even known what the memory was, only that it gave him a sense of comfort. He wasn't even sure if he wanted to know what the memory was anymore but if left in his child's mind it could cause more damage then good so as carefully as he could 62 started to shift through the Starkers thoughts until he found what had started all of this.
When he stumbled across it he at first mistook it as a single image but upon closer inspection found that the sounds and sensations of the memory changed ever so slightly as it wore on, such as the slight shift of movement and warmth. None of it made sense to 62 until he realized something strange about the pace of the breathing and warmth which caused him to pull back slightly in alarm.
There where two separate sets of breathing, one of which matched the rise and fall of the warmth on the back of what must have been his neck. Then after a sudden shift of movement his eyes flickered open before looking back at the head of blond hair behind him. As the head came into view a dropping sensation came over 62.
He knew this memory...And with a start recognized the person in it.
It was becoming too much now, as the swirling sea of new memories started to threaten to pull him down again forcing him to quickly draw out of the Stalkers mind. When he got into his own body again he found he had fallen sideways off of his seat but before he could stand he heard Mateus say something about moving off.
Trying to make sure not to draw too much attention 62 got back to his feet before giving a shaky mental tug to his children to follow, causing both sets of Twins to jump and latch onto him making him stumble a little. With an effort he began to move towards the others only giving Sunny a shrug to his questioning look, but it was apparent by his posture that something had shaken him badly since the last time he was with them.

Eliseai had been picking at Sunny's implant as he and Mateus spoke. It was clear she was quite focused on the task at hand because she was chewing her lip and not blinking as she eventually managed to reveal the whole of the implant. Just studying it, she knew that with time it would eventually grow to look like her own, it would take the place of his eyebrow as her's had. The only thing that caught her attention was that this one seemed to have a different front design. She leaned forward to study the markings. She morphed her hand into a mirror making it possible to compare her's to his. The design was an exact inverse to her own, and she knew that her's detonated that she was a helpmate or conduit.
Then Sunny suddenly jumped up and she let out a little squeak of frustration. Then he turned a look of excitement in his eyes. They had to move, and fast. She pocketed the little tool that she'd been using to examine Sunny's implant and she turned to move towards Sunny. She knew that even with their connectedness it would take time before he fully acquired her sight. She grabbed hold of his hand. He could hear her thoughts again. As they began to move rapidly after Mateus she was linking thoughts to him.
"When we get out there, I'm defensive to you. You draw on my power if you need it, and I'll make certain nobody touches you. We are a singular unit. You are the right hand which attacks, I am the left which shields."
Then they moved out of the complex, if she'd read the map from earlier correctly, they were going to have to board another train in order to get to the complex where they might find some answers. As their group slowly crept along avoiding guard details Eliseai quickly realized that the train station was locked down. After hours of cat and mouse with the security they stopped behind one of the warehouses. "If we want to board the train we're going to need a distraction, that's the only way this can work." she looked at the others.
"I've got a plan, but I doubt anyone will like it." She cracked her neck as she began to lay out a plan that involved her killing a lot of guards in a very loud and obnoxious manner. The idea was to draw them away from the train, and hopefully gain the attention of Oscar. If she did that, she seemed certain that the others should board the train with ease, and that after that she could make her way back to the train.

"No!" Sunny protested, "You're not going alone. If anyone can gain attention I can. I won't let you take on half an army by yourself. Look, If I concentrate on the structured of this place well enough I can hear a pretty good map of this place too. The other's can be at the station, but where you go, I go." He gave a concerned look at 62 in particular, "only those who are capable of taking them on. That's us."
He cradled Eliseai's head in his hands and gave her a kiss. "I don't care if I'm still mostly blind, you're not leaving my sight."
