I didn't IMPLY anything. I listed why the above selections form that list weren't cheap, effective CC troops, that aren't the #1 target for S8 weapons.
Want a cheap, effective CC troop that isn't the #1 target of S8 weapons?
And then you go and list the models I commented on and why they dont fit this.
All of those units are either not cheap and/or multi-wound T4 models. When did I imply they weren't effective? Was it when I said I play three units from that list in my army?
"very few attacks" in comparison to hormagaunts on the charge? seriously? not only that, but 200 points of hormagaunts... what else can compare aside from orks? yea... Most things of similar cost have 4 attacks for 1 model. So when i see "very few attacks" I really want to know where that comes from. same goes for wounds.
200 = Trygon
200 points seemed like a very logical point total of Hormagaunts if I wanted to compare them to taking a Trygon. And last time I checked we're talking about Tyranids, not Orks, so why are you bringing them up?
From my point of view, you might want to dial it back a little, you seem overly eager about this topic, reading things I didn't even type.
The very first line of your post was enough to support my reaction. No matter what you meant, I did give good reasons to take them even with S8 existing. And more importantly, Ygenens can start like infantry ;P
The very first line of my first post carried no basis for you to go on the attack. The very first line of my second post carried all the basis for you to accept that you misinterpreted my post. I wasn't a dick about it--I just clarified that I never said they were worthless. I even stated that I take three units from that very list.
I've recommended adding warriors to dozens of lists on this forum where they fit.
I never said that a single unit in that list was a waste of points or that someone should not take them. Not once, nor did I imply it. Either accept that and realize you are being a jerk, or get Lou Gehrig's Disease, because life gets much harder than admitting you misread something.
P.S. If you don't use Dormant on Ymgarls then that is a waste of points.
