1500 battle vs salamanders or guard??

Which would worse to face?? Just wondering before i make a list up

My opponent has decided salamanders so far i know he has vulkan th/ss termies landraider and two tactical squads but not sure what else he can fit in, he said he's gonna mix it up a bit. gonna go through what i got then put list :-)

well those terminators are going to cry blood if you tarpit them with fearless termagaunts, so something to open that land raider could be nice. remember you don't need to beat those terminators. vulcan generally means loads of melta guns/multi-meltas with a side order of thunder hammers so if you don't use too many units that are afraid of those two you should do ok.
