Mergul had many gashes and wounds that covered his body. The few minutes the deamons had been upon him and caused many grievous wounds. He limped over to his brutally battered and beaten bike. Mergul thought to himself, "This maybe my last ride old girl." He started the engine, slowly the thing puttered to life. He knew he must fight now and that it was his turn. He charged into the oncoming crowds bursting the mightiest of deamons down with his star lance. He picked out the Greater Deamons and disposed of them sometimes by drive straight into them and slicing them with his sword and other times from range with his star lance. He shouted, "Get Sarina out of here. You both fought for me and now I must do it for you." Just as he plowed into yet another horde of deamons and their dieing screeches filled the air.

Sarina's hand squuezed Draelan's tight as he pulled her from the horde of daemons. Little cuts and bruises covered her frail form. She opened her eyes and he could see they were no longer colored but that a milky white color had formed over her eyes. Her head turned at his voice and she pointed over his shoulder, "The follow that path until we reach a turn to the left and right then go right. Then on that spot there will be a silver gate...that is freedom." Draelan knew she couldn't see and was just telling him from memory.

"Get her out of here!" Unaviel yelled, trying to be heard over the raw chaos that filled the air. "Mergul quick!" They all ran, making agonising strides towards the gate. Each step was pain, his attacks had torn several ligaments in his arm and his body was cut in many places. There natural speed as eldar meant only the daemonettes could catch them and with quick shots they brought them down. They rounded the final corner and Unaviel emptied his ammunition, slicing the horde, spraying black gore in all directions. Now the greater daemons had joined the fray and a great unclean one of immense proportion lead the pursuit. The white gate shined with purity. "Freedom," thought Unaviel... "its about time." Draelan and Sarina went first and Mergul next. Unaviel had just reached it when he was caught, dragged backwards by a writhing mass of bile, coming from the greater daemons mouth. He could not resist, all fighting power had left him. A sword stretched through the portal, that of a banshee and cut him free. He was dragged through and the portal was sealed. They'd found Nacrentei, they were home. Aldorei stood holding a bile soaked sword as 2 warlocks and a farseer sealed the portal. Then Unaviel blacked out.
----------
The moment the returnees had arrived 10 warlocks flanked them and lead them to the chamber of the seer. When Draelan asked what was going on a farseer only answered, "you must be analysed, what you have seen is of great importance." Unaviel was laid across a table, his eyes closed and body limp. He still breathed. Farseer Kelmon commanded ,"psycho analyse the others, then communion it to the screen." He turned to Draelan ,"do not worry, this will not harm you." then putting his hand to Unaviels forehead he focused.

Draelan looked at Sarina. "Sarina... your eyes... Your... Blind. No... Surely not..." He sighed. "Very well. Then lets see abput guiding you out of here." Taking her hands, he lifted her up untill she was in his arms. As he ran forward, He was joined by unaveil, thenergul. "Come brothers! Our battle is son! Freedom is ours!" Then he dived through the portal.
upon the other side he found Aldorei and many a farseer waiting. He realised he must have looked a state. "What is this..." He said, glancing around. As the farseers stood, and explained, Draelan found himself relaxing. As Aldorei pulled unaviel out of the portal and it sealed, ge felt releif creep into his bones. They were free.
Draelan stood, watching the screen. "What exactly is it we are bsing tested for? he said, curious, The farseers apparently probing their memories for importance. Draelan felt nervous, like someone was watching him. ""Lets hurry please..."
In truth, upon the craftworld,There was someone watching him. A man stood, human, with a long black cloak emblazoned with a red sword. He seemed to see the group, dedpite his height. "Sartorius, Reporting in." He said inti the air. "Theyve returned. Time to proceed." Then he guestured to the groumd, and he was swallowed up by a rush of water that couldnt have been there before. Then like that, he was gone, with inly a wet street below to proove it.

Mergul landed on the other side of the portal with a massive thud. He completely blacked out and awoke to a scene similar to Unaviel they were studying him and probing him. He wanted to resist but hadn't the strength to move a muscle, so he laid on the table accepting what ever they would do to him.

Sarina too was taken into their custody, unable to even fight them off although she groaned and moaned wretchedly from pain and fear. The farseers out of pity drugged her and spent much time healing her grievous wounds inside and out. Although it seemed out of kindness eldar whispered that it was because they could not touch her mind with the poor state she was in. When finally they deemed her synaptic pathways and body healed they began trying to sweep her mind. Only to find that it was a maze of impossibility. Even after Draelan and Unaivel and Merguel were released and only held incase further sweeps were necessary they heard naught of Sarina.
Sarina for her part did not fight them, she only knew they would never break her mind. She had been made and trained that way. Even though she now had a soul, no Harlequin would dare deny her the title of Solitaire..and no farseer could begin to touch the level of protection that title and training brought her mind. Whatever her eyes had seen...no others could...and now she saw nothing. For what felt like eternity she lay in the darkness of her mind as they tried to walk it's many paths only to find that they had been tricked with a story untrue. She waited patiently to be released..she knew her people would not allow her to remain forever with the farseers.

Draelan waited. He had been patient long enough- For days he had waited to speak with Sarina. Still, he was denied. They did not tell him what condition she was in, Npr if she had healed, was speaking, if she could see again. Now he found himself banging on the only room he hadnt checked's door. "Your in their. I know it, now open up. You bond a solitaire, such an act would be unthinkable were she in better condition. Now let me see her."

A warlock appeared from the door and glared at Draelan. "You should not disturb us..." a farseer appeared behind him sweating, "No perhaps...he can relax her enough for our scans to work.." The warlock stepped back as the farseer lead Draelan into a room where a table held Sarina who had many wires hooked mostly to her head and chest. She did not even turn as Draelan approached. When he came upon her he found that her eyes were no better. He heard in his mind *they will not heal...the damage was too complete to that center...she won't see again...* Sarina spoke suddenly, "I have told you before...I cannot open my mind...we are not trained for nothing...to enter the black library and read what i Have read is not something others are allowed...not even you Lord Seer." she paused turning ever so slightly clearly uncomfortable.

"Im afraid shes right Farseer" Draeln said. "Shes a Solitaire. She is not going to divulge her secrets to you. Not this way. Stop bothering her with these scans, please. For your sake and for hers." He gently took Saribas hand, leant doawn and whispered inher ear "Im sorry, Sarina. About your eyes."

Sarina's head turned at the sound of Draelan's voice and she shouted out towards him as he spoke to the farseer, "Draelan! Where are you?" She sat up as much as the restraints would allow clearly trying to hear him and see although the latter was a wasted effort. As he strode towards her she lay back down glowering as the farseer stepped back to allow them space. As he leaned down towards her he could see the movement and fidgeting of a caged cat. In response to his words tears formed around her white eyes as she squeezed his hand, "Nobody told me....I had hoped it wasn't permanent." she smiled sadly, "I can't even see you...they tell me you are new...special..."she shook her head as tears fell down her face, "I guess in a funny way I will have gotten freedom from being what I was..."the farseer moved forward shaking his head.
"We shall release her for the time being...provided she gives us a full report on what she knows..."

Unaviel was still unconscious, he paced his mind frustrated. He wanted answers. Farseer Kelmon appeared and before he could say a word Unaviel spoke. "Kelmom what the hell is going on?" He said seething. "That is what I'm here to find, and I suggest you address your lord better." "I'm sorry my seer" "Better now we begin our journey." The chamber shifted they were on Cytheria once again. Shuriken shrieked through the air, las fire went straight through them. They were unharmed. Draelan was still a scorpion, busy neutralising a heavy weapons team. Mergul circled a baneblade slowly immobilising it and defunctioning it. "This is the beginning," Kelmon said pointing towards Sarina's appearance. "I always wondered how she did that."Unaviel said trying to work out the meaning of this whole thing. Unaviel had just finished the inquisitor, he was unconscious." Sarina saved you." "Yes so?" "It was the beginning. Watch." Aldorei opened the door to the palace of Slaanesh. Fighting her way to the middle with the others at her side. He saw Sarina tearing her eye out, and dragging him out. "You were saved again," Unaviel was silent. Next he saw the maze, his battle with the bloodthirster. His awakening in the mysterious place. "Aldorei saved you. Even if it was by impossible means." "Tell me what this all means." "One last stop, you may find this disturbing but it necessary." They were on the ship, the one that Unaviel had seen in so many nightmares. His parents, sacrificing themselves, exploding in white light, banishing daemons in their thousands. Unaviel was disturbed. He saw the eyes of his father and mother, lightning in each one. He woke, Kelmon had his hand on his forehead. "You are from a long line of warriors and seers, worshipping a god thought to be long dead. The emotional stress when you were saved 3 times, then when you thought Sarina was lost. Opened up your power and.. Your new eyes, the ones that appear in moments of stress. Now go." Unaviel left, unsatisfied. He found Draelan and Sarina , clearly unable to see. Draelans red and orange eyes. "Something is wrong, what has happened is no mistake. I'm worried."

Draelan held her hand. ''New, prehaps. My eyes have gone all funny, And my colour visions slightly in favour of red and orange now. And of course, I seem to set the stage on fire whenever I dance. But im nothing special. I just did my duty. After all, Duty comes first, right?'' He helped her to her feet as teh Farseers released her. ''You are my Duty. Cegorach explained it to me himself. ''You do not have to give her up, but duty comes first'' he told me. My duty was to protect, now it is to guide.'' He pulled her close. ''Of course, if im going to be your guide, I'll have to stay close. the question is, will you stay? Be with me?'' Tough she couldn't see, she could almost feel his gaze upon her, not harsh or demanding, but tender and caring.

Mergul slowly walked into the room. He knew he was hardly a part of this and hardly knew these "new" people. He just wanted to check on Sarina's physical state.

Sarina smiled radiantly although not at Draelan he knew it was for him. Her her hands gently ran up his hand to his arm shoulder and eventually his face touching it. She grinned as her finger tips found his lips and she leaned forward to kiss him "Of course."

Unaviel looked blank,"poor guy, doesn't know what he getting himself into." He thought ,"time for a drink."
He sat on a bar stool at one of the craftworlds many bars. He sipped a glass of wine boredly what he normally did between battles and training. He was wearing simple clothes, he was worried about the future, how he was now tied to the others for eternity.
Ooc-time for some character development
