Evening Hive!
@ Always - thanks just keep painting and you will easily surpass me in no time
totheark - ya lost me, but easy to do skin, start with a brown and mix up to the coloring you want. if your saying im the one with pink, yellow brown and orange... well i am abit color blind so maybe your right? In the end as long as the people i paint these for enjoy them as the gift that they are thats all I am for . just a smile.
Any who more then one update in a week let alone a month whats going on!?
basing for the Women and dog. (magnetizing the models to the display then going to magnetize to bases to the bottom of the case so that the person can pull the models out and put them on the bases for play
Picked up a Shadowblade mini from GW today because the pose was a bit on the epic side. all done timed myself for fun and it only took me 30min of prep, 1 hour of waiting and 2 hours of painting from start to finish
Tools used. Sticky sack, paper clip, 3 corks, Choas Black Primer, Vomit Brown to White scar for edging, mournfang brown base to white scar mix for pants and mask, mephiston red with a gw red glaze and shade in a airbrush for the cape, abadon black to mechanicus standard grey for the skin tones. blood was Tamiya Clear X-27 mixed with nuln oil for darker blood splatter effect. base was mournfang brown mixed to white scar and Dheneb stone mixed to white scar.
Anywho, hope you like, I think it was a really fun mini to paint! Enjoy!
