All the while Mergul and his Shining Spears had been assisting the defense of the camp. Demons swarmed to the camp but where ever they struck hardest Mergul was there ready to fight them off. He drove back waves of Seekers and Demonnetts and even when the Fiends attacked Mergul stood. He made swooping attacks decapitating demons as fast as only a master rider could. He led his squad in and out of all the fights never flinching at the presence of demons or the immeasurable amount of blood shed.

(ok, This post takes place after Father Nurgle finishes his opponents off.)
Jack nods and Walks out of the forest, into the small camp. He moved into buildings, then exited again, for teh buildings contained very little. Then he opened the door to teh building Unaviel, Vir and Ellaro were in, and gasped. ''What the hell hapened here?'' He yelled. Mustering an orb of light in hsi hand, he muttered a quick prayer. hen, H edirected teh Light into teh nearest rune. It cracked, destroying the image, and stopped working. Still the Pinkish energy glowed. ''Dammit, i cant do that too often... How many more are there?'' He yelled.

He exploded showering the harlequin and party in gore. And a tear in the warp began to manifest as a giant hand reached through.

(sorry for leaving you all lost for words) The as the keeper stepped through the whole battle changed. The daemons now attacking with cohesion. Slaneesh had been toying with them And now his drips were tightening around the poor elder cattle. Unaviel was first to challenge the keeper as he leapt with his dire sword. Yet slanesh protected the servant and he felt his arm go weak as he was made immobile and numb. The tentacles and claws of the keeper grabbed him as the avenger came face to face. Feeling the blissful breath of slaneesh on his face the tentacles began to tighten unaviel wanting to give in to their embrace. The beam of a bright lance hit the greater daemon making it flinch. Realising their were bigger targets, the keeper through unaviel to the daemonettes who relished the chance to get hold of him. The keeper grabbed the falcon from where the bright lance came and crushed it between it's claws. It then threw it ,scattering the guardians who were being assailed by the seekers. It appeared that the vision was becoming reality. The doom of unaviel, draelan and the rest was becoming true

Draelan slipped in and out of shadow, shooting up daemons and carving fleah wherever he could. His body moved gracefully, dodging incoming attacks. He didnt care if he died now, only that the dance went on. He laughed as a daemonette was decaitated, giggled as a seeker lost its legs to his blade.
Jack, on the other hand, was calm as a windless day. His sword moved casually, deflecting incoming blows with ease. Every touch of his blade destroyed whole daemonette limbs. A scratch to the claw caused the arm to dissolve, a parry and flick of the blade to the chest caused the whole body to rupture and ignite in white flame. Yet he did not go unpunished- His heavilly scarred body was cracking. He was getting old, and he knew it. Blood flowed from re-opened wounds. Jack laughed, half hearted but ominously final. Dispatching his last foe, he slumpegainst the wall, bleeding in dozens of places. He spat up some blood, then took a pure white fliwer, crushed between two pages of a book in his pocket, and stared at it. "Ah my love... Such a shame you arent here with me now. Im too old too keep fighting, too old to keep on. Eternity is a long time, and i have seen a fair share of it. If only it was with you." He pressed the white flower to his lips, then to his heart. And there and then, Jack died.
His body shone white. Daemon and Human, Eldar and cultist alike stoped and turned tjier gaze. Jack's body was lifted from the groundand suspended in the air, his wings spreading wide. Then suddenly, the light erupted forth in a wave of fire, and the daemons, lesser and greater, screamed in agony as all their pleasure was burned away and replaced with pain and fire. The Keeper managed to stop it, but only a few daemonettes survived, and noe of the cultists did. More contiued to come, but were harried by burning white fires that were once human cultidts.
Of jack, only a brown coat and a sword remained. And as the battle rose on, a dingle, slughtly crushed white flower and a white feather fell from the sky and lay atop the heap.

The keeper buffeted from the blast but not yet damaged found itself assailed by harlequins. Stabbing their kisses left right and center but now matter how fast they were the keeper was faster. You could barely see its many claws and tentacles blocking parryin and killing. Withing seconds its foes were dead and it moved on to the unatural beings it saw ahead, the pair of warp crossers. Howling a scream that was heard by all yet intensified in the ears of psychers, causing the warlocks to writh in agony it summoned a new larger portal in moments even more daemons. Some which had never been classified marched forth. A swarm of harpys, so large it blocked out the sun flew for the camp, endless daemonettes, even daemon princes far more powerful than the last strode forth. The first incursion was just a barrier for the ritual to be completed. These daemons were stronger, faster and more numerous. The small original hope had been snuffed out like a candle.

Vir's jaw went slack, he had not expected this at all. "I'm gonna have to break the pact....Jack when this is all over cleanse me. If that doesn't work..KILL ME! I'm doing what I swore I would not do. I'm breaking the Shadow Pact." His words turned to hush whispers as he called upon the power of his grandfather and great grandfather.
Ellaro looked confused as Vir ripped his shirt off and started using the shadows to etch strange symbols into his skin, the boy's eyes had glazed over a deep shade of black and his pores seemed to seep out all the hate and rage of the universe. "Get the seers out of here every run! Ellaro said activating his jump pack he grabbed the nearest Seer and boosted away, the end of what was happening would not be pretty for either side.
Vir's lips moved as if every sentence was a single word, every word that escaped his lip was unidentifiable unless you knew the script from which it came. The Shadow Pact, had been laid out after Tyamius the 1st and his son combined their shadow souls to create a master shadow being named Nocturnal, King of Darkness. It took 7 days and 7 nights to seal the Entity away and the loss of warpcrossers was felt across the universe. The Pact granted those of the blood line control over the shadows but denied them the power they once had to have endless control over all others. The Pact was a measure taken by High Captain Neji to ensure all other Shadow Crossers could not over throw the order he had spent so long to gain in the Crossers. The Pact could be broken granting immeasurable power but to do so the Shadow would give up their wings and all other ties to the Warp Crossers, it was a death sentence now used only in times of great need.
As Vir finished the etching's, his body mass seemed to double in size the marks glowed a deep black and his pure white wings fell to pieces only to be replaced by black fire wings (His blood still contains that taken from Vendo at the beginning of the crosser/l4d story if Scar and Namine remember.) "So this is true power?" His voice became that of a deep unearthly being. His hands turned to shadow claws as he eye'd the Keeper. "You will be my first victim."
Ellaro watched through his Prism Rifle scope as he watched his friend transform into a monster before his very eyes. "This is his true power....I have found my next mark when this is all over."
(He dies in the end one way or another and this will end my shadow player line. Until I come up with a way to reintroduce it.)

Ooc- Your adking Jack to cleanse you? He's dead!
Still, time to introduce his Next in line.
Ic- As the daemons poured forth, The Flower and feather on Jacks coat blew away in the wind. As they blew past, a voice was heard in the ears of the eldar, the Warpcrossers and the Imperial guard. It said "Even when the light dies, Hope shall never fade. Spirits can be rekindled, and ligjt can be remade." Then it happened. From the sky cam peircing beams of light, destroying whole daemons and leaving Warpcrossers in thier wake, squads of five in pure white armour. And from a single smaller beam strode a young warpcrossee, barely an adult, carrying a long hand-and-a-half swird with a crystal blade. His hair was pure white, straight and flowing. His face seemed to carry the best aspects of humanity, a soft tpne, a well shaped chin and unbroken features. His eyes were electric blue, and his body was gracefyl and thin, clean and slightly muscular. All in all, he himself was beautiful, a perfect balance of his parents. He took a lonng stride firward. His clothes were practical- White armour, pver a pure white t-shirt and martial arts trousers. He wore a long white coat, and his wings reached 10 feet in full, strong and undirted by war.
He spoke to the combatants. His voice was soft and delicate, yet strong and enforcing, it made you feel safe and strng. "I am Samuel, son of Jack." He looked at Vir in his Shadowed form. "Alas, the pact is broken." Hee raised his sword. "Face me Daemons. I fear not you nor yoyr master." Then he charged

Unaviel was lying on the ground, not out exhaustion but the keepers spell still bound him. Several opitunistic daemonettes surrounded him. Ready to subject him to their brutal treatment they grabbed him. The leads hooked its claw round his neck. "Any last words before we tear you limb from limb?" "No, only this." The champion was zapped as it turned to ash and before the daemonettes could move shuriken flew everywhere. At this he ran making for the jungle. Many would call him a coward yet he was to fufil a greater purpose Coming to the ship he found the weapon they had to come to retrieve. The shaft was a silver grey and the tip black. As he grabbed it feeling the power never found with his diresword. It chaned colour to the black and blue of his armour and began to glow."This should be fun." He reached for the intercom praying the young exarch murgle was still alive. "Murgle I don't know where you are but you need to get here no matter what the cost, your flying skills are required.

Ayowin slammed into a pile of daemonettes her blade singing with the force of not only her unmatched skill but also the fury of the gauntlet. The creatures bled her as their claws raked across her regenerating flesh. The blood poured from her and the daemonettes as she cut them apart.
It was then that the Harlequinn's reached Sarina's position. She lay her clothing burned away from the summoning of the great daemon on the table. She had long since quit her screaming and was motionless splayed out on the rocky surface of the ritual table. None had bothered to help her. Her pale skin which once had been white with beauty was now pale with death close at hand. Her breathing was irregular, her body broken. The Harlequinn's turned with fury at the daemons dancing a path of destruction across them as four of their medics cut away the chains and wrapped her in a blanket to lift her away, careful to never touch her skin.

Sameuel sliced yet another daemon down. He fought remarkably like his father, casually deflecting every blow and when the foe was weaponless or off-guard, strike. He saw Ayowin, blood frenzied as ever. "Ah Ayowin... So furious. I really must talk with her sonetime, about how she fights so ruthlessly." Casually raising his blafe, He split a Daemon down the middle, and ignited another few. Gathering light in his fist, He hurled aspear of luminesent metal tgrough a row of Daemons, who turned to sparkling dust.

Mergul, who had just finished surviving another wave of the monstrosities, answered the comms,"I'll be right there." He heard the tone of Unaveil's voice and swiftly kicked his bike into turbo boost. He would allow his shining spears to hold the camp while he was away. He soon arrived and awaited Unaviel's orders.

"Of course sir." Mergul quickly answered and invited Unaveil on board. When Unaveil was situated on the rear of the bike Mergul simply said, "Hold on." The bike was kicked into turbo boost and they were soon approaching the Keeper. Let's go around back while its distracted. He hovered behind a ruined building approaching the Keeper from behind while it was busy tearing apart many foes. Mergul spoke quietly, "We'll get one shot at this."
