Sirocco walked forward to catch up with Free. "I say that city, if nothing else, will give us some cover when the next storm hits. I'll grab the rest of them and get them moving." He turned around and rallied those who were there into walking towards the city. "Make sure that we're there before the next storm. I don't want to be caught in that." He had already gotten several rock shards out, swirling them around his hand.

Red Dawns outburst had not surprised Burn. The man was like a bomb overdue to blow he decided. Once outside, he breathed in the acrid air. He could feel the storm coming and he too didn't want to be caught in it. He decided Free was not his type of man either, just because he had brought these people together did not mean he was the leader or that he could beat them up. The girl interested him though, unlike most people he couldn't read her. She also gave off the feeling, unlike Free, that she truly knew what she was doing. In the imperial guard, Burn had learned that knowing your strengths and weaknesses was just as important as having a good plan and strong men, and she appeared to know her limits.
"I agree with Sirocco", he barked over the starting wind, "We had best reach that city before this breaks!" With that he followed the group out of through the bulkhead doors.

"I agree also. Lead on Sirico." He began to follow his companion, keeping pace easily with his fitness levels being as high as thet were. However, something felt odd to him. Like some sort of far watcher. He turned, and his eyes came to a rest on Lux. She wasnt looking at him, but he felt like she was. He shuddered, then turned back to keep following.

Red's hand rested on the grip of his shotgun. this man acted like he owned him. This Free. he couldn't trust him or the women. not if they would hurt a comrade. it was different in his old unit. they were family then. "rock man." he whispered to burn. "how much do we really know of these people? are they who they say they are?" he ask him seeing as Burn was smart and all Red was, well is, is a soldier.

(rock dude is me, Sirocco. I'll assume you meant me) Walking forwards at a decent pace, Sirocco heard Red's whisper. "As far as I can read, they're all doubtful of us too, but they would all risk their lives for any one of us." He deliberately refused to answer the first question, and made sure noone else heard. He turned to face Free. "How is your eye healing?" he said. He was not sure now that they would reach the city before the storm reached them.

To say Lux was looking but not looking was an excellent observation. She was looking at all of them in her own way. It had suddenly encountered her thought process that perhaps humans were not worth saving. That was not to say that warpcrossers were a better lot entirely. They were just as petty and head strong as any human. But almost all of them had eternal life. And eternal life brought a very different way of looking at things to the table. It also helped that in the last 1,000 years they had begun to breed instead of there old method of bring people into the ranks of the warp's force for good. Less and Less were outsiders being brought in. It simply was no longer a necessity. And this was beginning to get rid of the petty little idiocies that had permeated society. Lux knew she was one to talk. So she had been a bit foolish in her decision. She was paying for it. She was now in the center of a war for which her general interest did not exist. It was fun to be considered an angel from the emperor. Still better that she was a fallen angel although not of the Emperor. But failing to lead these hooligans to victory meant she may very well never get back to the kingdom of light. And now that she wasnt in the kingdom. She realized why it was so desirable. She had at this point decided to catalogue what she had at her disposal. Her first glance landed on red. He was clearly one of those insane men who felt that all nobles were against him. He probably had grown up on a back water world. Still she could see he was a fighter. He might be bat (please do not swear) (please do not swear) insane but sometimes those soldiers came in handy if they could be put in their place. Next she considered Sirocco. He struck her as like Red. Except that at some point someone had put him in his place. And that made him "the Emperor blesses those who help themselves." she noted in the same mocking voice.

Free smiled. "Odly enough, its healing. I can see as though i've got it half closed; and its black and white, but its a start eh?" He nudged Sirocco on the arm playfully. "Never know, before the night is out, i might be able to kill animals with my gaze again" It was obvious he was boasting playfully, completely unserious.
Lux heared a voice whisper in her ear, a voice that sounded watery, as though it was whispered across a stil lake. It was quiet, and echoed within her head. "Lux..." it said, simply. As it spoke, she felt a hand gently caress her dight shoulder. The sensation was so strange she literally turned on the spot. There was nothing close to her.
But there was something. About 300 metres away were some cultists in a chimera, the top of ehich had been sawn off. The veicle now covered in chaos runes looked bad enough, but the cultists were carrying slaves too- 3 men and2 women, all naked and scarred apart from collars round thier necks. The cultists were headed thier way, wooping and hollering in delight at the prospect of new toys.

"Theres trouble coming our way," Burn grunted, "Who wants to try out there new powers on some cultists? I think they're asking for it!"
With that, he sprinted toward the cultists, brandishing his revolver and sword.

Sirroco heard Burn yell about trouble, so he wheeled on the spot and flung several rock shards at the cultists. Most fell wide, but one caught the leftmost cultist in the arm, stalling him. Sirroco dropped to his knees, his hands resting on the acrid soil. "Free, I reccomend that you get to the city, the next storm is nearing." he said. pointing out the dust storm on the horizon that was now clearly visible, though still a way off. "I can shift some of the ground around me, so I can get there really quickly if I need to." he heaved his hands up, his knees buckling slightly from the effort. He then split it into hundreds of small shards, charging forward towards Burn.

"now would be a good time to go." red said as he started to run tworeds the city. the smoke that was produced from the transport would start to turn red. RedDawn moved fast running around once to see the red smoke again and for some reason he remeberd the lovely sight of fire. the burning sensation of the burning flesh. that's what made the red smoke ignited into a deadly flame traveling from the volley of smoke down to the tank itself. red was stunned by the sight of the flaming smoke. "now that's a flame"

Free shook his head. ''I'm not leaving you.'' He raised his pistol and began blasting away, screaming something at he top of his lungs- And the cultists recoiled at the sound.
The Emperors name.
The cultists, after Free's voice died down, jumped out of the crashed chimera, and charged at the group. Three went for Free, who began to battle them in close combats. They all ahd chainswords, thought they were warped and twisted. two more went for Sirrocco, armed with similar weapons, and the other 3 ran past them at extreeme speeds, headed for the group. The three runners were more mutated, and had chainswords too, though they were part of thier hands now.

Sirocco twisted through three full arcs as the two cultists came towards him. As he stopped, he recinded control of several shards of earth, their momentum throwing them into the first cultist. The cultist buckled at the waist, then his legs jerked out from beneath him and a final three shards smashed into his cranium. The second cultist was faster than Sirocco had anticipated, forcing him to group the shard together to form a shield. The chainsword smashed clean through it and Sirocco was barely out of the way in time. "Bad move." he said, raising his hands and raising four large blocks of rock from the ground, trapping the cultist. He then crossed the four blocks, crushing the cultist totally and utterly. Sirroco collapsed from the effort, slowly dragging himself towards the city.

Red would turn pulling his shot gun out. "what i would give for tape." he would run to intercept the 3 ruining tworeds the grope his gun low till he was near them 15 feet his gun was brought up and he pulled 1 trigger firing one flame round. next when he was closer he fired the second. the smoke produced by the shotgun would turn red the storm would blow it tworeds the grope as he would then ignite it making a barrier of flames takeing his knife out he would stab one cultist dodging a chain sword. letting go of the knife he loads another 2 rounds for his shotgun. and turns again the chain sword would be close to him about 2 feet from his ribcage as he pulled his gut in and jumped back. shot gun aimed now close to the mutated ones face and fired both rounds at him. at this range a limb should fly off. he turned seeing the mutated one go down. next one was the same he put his knife into the blade would slash down missing the face but red would be cut down the stomach the tainted teeth of the chain sword would slice past his flack jacket and cut at his stomach.

As the blade bit into red and Siriocco hit the ground in exhaustion the cultists closed in for the kill. Each watched as the cultists moved forward in a toying manner, "Give up." Red watched as the cultist raised his blade for the kill and as he expected the blade to fall he heard Lux shout, "Red close your eyes and duck!" Lux was in a dead spring forward towards Red as she swung her rod in a upwards arc and light seemed to gather in it as she hurled it forward at the cultist and it swung like a boomerang of light and seared his blade to a useless state. The others watched as she leapt catching the swinging rod that had seconds ago seemed so harmless in her hand and then swinging it forward as a burst of light hit him square in the head blinding him as he reeled backwards in pain. Had Red not looked away it was clear he would have been blinded. Lux was next to the cultist in an instant grabbing him by the back of his hood and hauling him downwards in an action that required more agility than strength to perform. As the cultist hit the sand the others watched light gather around Lux's rod once more as she rammed it into the cultist's head. The smell of burnt flesh filled the air as Lux offered her hand to Red the other hand beginning to spin the baton again as light gathered. "You alright there?"

Free was still engaged in a fight with two cultist- he had evedently forced one cultist to kill one of teh others. He noticed Lux burning teh more mutated ones, and he grinned. Suddenly, he felt a white hot pain as a chainsword sliced his back open. Seconds later, he felt the chainsword reva again, snapping his spine. he slumped, apparently dead. Teh cultist revved thier blades and made to move towards Sirroco, but then Free was up again, his back steaming as the bone corrected itself and teh fleshs slowly closed up. ''Were... it so easy.'' He muttered, and grabbed one cultists chainsword arm, squeeed it so teh cultist revved teh balde, then forced it through the others chest, where it jammed. As teh last cultist struggled to retrieve his balde, Free jammed his pistol into his mouth and blew his head apart. He smiled. ''Done...''
The voice wispered to Lux, in the same manner ''Lux...'' She saw a flash in her head, a flash of soem monsterous beast, made from several humans fused together, inside ruined city walls. The light in teh image made it suggest it was night time, and all around the beast tehre were dead bodies- The bodies of her comrades. ''Lux... Avoid the City...''
