If people wouldn't spend all their time trashing episodes one and two, commenting on how stupid many of the things are i them, choosing to read comics or text during the few good parts those episodes have to offer... there would be a lot more bronies. People are so judgmental of ponies just because they are ponies... I would go so far to compare it to racism... as they both work the same exact way... Just saying XD Whaaa? Someone want to explain to me what all this pony stuff is about? Game looks good but that said looks far from done I honestly don't know, nostalgia maybe? It isn't my cup of tea but a lot of properties from the 80's are very popular. Surfs, transformers, and Ghost Busters all have films out or are being released. MLP was one of my sisters favorites and it seems to have a cult following. Honestly though it looks like my kids would enjoy this game a lot. You haven't watched any of the episodes have you. This MLP and the mlp's of the past are completely different from each other. Whaaa? Someone want to explain to me what all this pony stuff is about? Game looks good but that said looks far from done it is just an era of The Tyranid Hive. They'll get over it with time... But right now they just can't get enough of cute little ponies. Every single person I know who has been forced to watch the first 4 episodes of this show (and yes, it tends to be you have to force people to watch this show... for more than obvious reasons) has become a fan of it. The fandom is cooling down as of now, but only because season 1 is over. Season 2 will be picking up in a month or so if I remember correctly... then there will be MORE PONIES. Watch the first 4...  XD |

I wouldn't consider myself Racist because i don't like cartoon ponies. Something cute doesn't really appeal to me.
I listen to Death metal and many other Metal genres, and IMO Ponies are just not Brutal enough P
And though this new MLP figting game is coming, It's just not Brutal enough.
If there is a Brutal pony…Then we'll see. They might just need a Pony like this Panda...
But we shall see... I have decided to take this journey into the land of the ponies. I might not survive it and if I do... it is uncertain in what condition i'll be in.
Farewell my lads, I'll see ya after 4 episodes.

Alright so i watched the 4 first episodes... I must admit that it have crumbled my soul to shreds. I have no idea why I continued watching after 3rd episode. I mean... This is greate for small children. They learn about friendship is Magic instead of Friends must be anihilated like in Tom and Jerry... But... That's that. Is it because there is so few of such things in the world as TV cartoons for kids that learn them to be good friends while still entertain them? Actually my mom just walked past me and you guys should have seen the look on her face when she saw what I was watching... dignity crumbles. I have decided that I shall see no more MLP.  I still resist! |

Ah dignity... Not very easy to lose when you have none to begin with I dont know... Part of the reason i like it is that I have not watched any decent cartoons lately and this series was partly created by the same person who made Powerpuff Girls (another great show i loved as a kid) and Fosters home for imaginary friends. A nice thing about this is the animation is nice and the characters have some good personality. The actual episodes have varied plots and at the same time if you keep an eye open there is some humor instead in there for the older crowd. It seems that they created the show for two audiences. One for the kids, while the other is that it can also keep any parents watching with thier children entertained also. Dunno, im not usually good at explaining things but just my 2 cents |

And maybe I was a little racist when speaking of not liking ponies...hmmf... I don't care anymore... Maybe i should just deal with the new ponies as being just as much a part of the web as everyone else. I live and learn. Sorry for being anti pony.... I'm sorry canadianone... But I shall battle them no more. PS: doesn't mean I'm going to turn into a pony in the near future though ^^ |

Well i guess the fact that i live alone also helps seing as theres no one that will even learn of my new found.... Interest in this show Although i fail to see how you were racist. Were all entitled to our opinions. Just so long as your not being offensive. Most of the hate towards this simply appears to be from the fact that people expect it to girly. Doesnt fit social norms. And yet according to youtube the series is very popular to males between the ages of 18-34... Surprising really... |

People are not understanding that I COMPARED it to racism... not that I was saying that it is.
Most people that are anti-semetic(sp) have no clue what a Jewish person is like, and set up their opinions on the pre-set ideas and stereotypes that the general public has set for them. Same can be said with hate for Asain, black, Muslim, and middle eastern people.
It's not racism to hate ponies, but it is very similar to hate them without knowing anything about them...
The first two episodes suck in my opinion, and are the only times i see anything "cute"
1. PINKYPIE! If ANYTHING she does isn't funny to you i don't understand >_<
2. Aj and her country girl theme isn't really made funny until the 4th episode (when she goes crazy)
3. Rarities obsession with close (and in the first 2 episodes her hair) isn't funny to you? ie... when they went up against the mantacore?
4. Fluttershy isn't funny yet in these episodes... they are setting up that she is quiet and shy (hence her name). She is angel's (the bunnies) biznitch. She becomes HALARIOUS when she yells at a fully grown dragon and tells him that she is going to tell his mother what he has been doing and makes him run away crying.... PRICELESS XD
5. Pinkypie and her hot-sauce cupcake? Really?
6. Pinkypie and her guessing games when the obvious mare in the moon shows up (i can't stand those episodes)
------ Now we get to episode 2. Mind you these are episodes i can't stand because they are the most girly (if you can actually consider the other episodes girly) and least funny.
1. Pinkypie's giggle at the ghostys song is one of the more popular songs. I just like twilight in this scene she says, "Please tell me she isn't" because not only is her sarcasm funny... but she is also portaying EVERY teenage boy watching this for the first time. It also is a great forshadow that really pinkypie is the only one who breaks out in random song for a majority of the season (other characters do... like stitch by stitch for rarity, winder wrap up for all of them, and at the galla in the season fanally(sp)) but the songs i just listed are very catchy (in my opinion at the galla is only good when pinkypie and ranbow sing, because rainbow is rock and roll and pinkypie is just pinky pie XD) The background song for the topic is actually mostly the winter wrap up song.
2. The gay serpent. How can you not just find that hilarious... ESPECIALLY A STRAIGHT MAN.
3. Rarities concern for her hair as previously mentioned, and the ponies fighting of the manticore was just epic/funny in general.
X. The Story-book part in the first episode, alongside the elements of harmony part in the second DO NOT HAPPEN EVER AGAIN. Thank you god for that. Lauren Faust Needed to set up the characters personalities along with tie in pre-existing fluff (Now if cruddace could only do that >_<")
---Episode 3
1. Spikes selfishness is okay with the apple... they are setting him up that way because he gets more selfish and that becomes a main point in his comedy later on.
2. "Rainbow, i though you said you were busy" "I was busy" "doing what" "Sleeping" <--- Not funny?
3. Pinkypie discovering the tickets and believing them to be bats/rats (just going by memory)
4. Not nescesarily the best part of it... but honestly if you have seen the season finally, you would understand that rarities dream of the prince is hilarious. Still, worthless rubbish to a sense. Kind of funny to know how she thinks.
5. Fluttershy is still Angel's biznitch, which is demonstrated quite a bit in this episode.
6. Rainbow kicking a whole in the cloud was finny because of the cheesy angelic look she gives when she says she would do it for anyone, when twilight tells her to close the cloud and can't eat because of it, and twilights sarcasm when rarity tells her its raining (no (please do not swear) sherloc would have been a better respons imo, but "no... really?" works too)
7. Spikes desire for gemstones is a "ha i get it" moment, but it's just intoducing that he eats gems... which becomes funny in the diamon dogs and owlowishes episodes.
8. Aj's obbsesion with apples is amazing to a fault XD Not funny for some people, and halarious for others.
9. Pinkypies random party... duh. Pinkypie is always so funny with her parties (but IS THE BEST in party of one... by far my favorite episode next to pinky scence)
10. Rainbow's indifference to twilight's feelings is funny for a few seconds.
---Episode 4.
1. Big macontoche's fancy mathmatics wasn't funny?
2. Mooriela wasn't funny?
3. Twilights constant interuptions was humerous... but only set up the epic that was to come.
4. Aj getting the award and laughing at her image "weee ooooo weeee oooo" wasn't funny? AND PINKYPIE JOINS HER! XD You can not deny that was funny.
5. My anti pony friend thought AJ constantly missing the bored was humerus... but wasn't funny because she didn't die. Yea... idk about that one. Though when rainbow turned back into rainbow crash, that was awesome.
6. AJ wasn't doing so well on the hearing aspect and made "baked bads" rather than baked goods. Kind of a cheesy joke, but was funny when you learn spike likes them.
7. THE STAMPEDE! HOW IN GODS NAME WAS THIS NOT FUNNY TO YOU? HOW?!?!?!?!
8. My friends and i laughed so hard when AJ finally accepted help and twilight finished the job in a few seconds. You didn't?

You then apply subliminal things like EVERY MALE IN THE SHOW is either a biznitch to a female (which is a real lesson little girls must learn) or are complete and utter dumb asses (you haven't seen snips and snails yet X()
The only reason that all of these things can be ignored is that you are like one of my friends who reads and texts wile watching it, or talks to other people, or just continuously tells himself that he is sick or scared because of how stupid you rhink it is... which is more trying to convince yourself than anything else

Wisdom I must admit I laught in Episode 4 point 4 and 8. xD The thing is, that it is way too predictable. I don't say that it is trash. I just don't want to spend my time watching the rest of the episodes. There is so many other shows that's funny too. In my case MLP just didn't catch me. Sorry, but it just didn't. And sure they have some greate individual personalities, I don't denie that... However if I should choose between MLP and Dragon hunters I would without a doubt choose Dragon hunters. Back on topic: I still think the game need some blood. |
