Aeris, War on the Rise

The orks sat at there camp. The boyz having fun all night, having grot shootouts. Wazzak was trying to build some new armor of weapon for himself. He had failed many times and almost hurt himself trying. The shokk attack gun he had been working on all night blew up in his face good thing he was wearing his armor still.


Anyway the boyz had fun while Wazzak stood in his shop working trying to get something to work.

Aeris had not responded to the Tzeentch general She did not approve of those that spoke in half truths. In fact as she lingered on this she despised them. Her men were pleased with themselves for they and she had spilled blood on the way back to their headquarters. Many tyranids were dead at their hands. She was in her quarters. The room was lavishly decorated and images and symbols of Khorne were everywhere.
Blood still covered her body and the sweat and toil of battle hung upon her as she moved about her room. First her hair came unbound as she strode about adrenaline still within her system. Why did she do this? She questioned herself the deep rage she felt at large in ways it hadn’t been for years.
“Ahh my Aeris looking lovely as usual. “ she turned and there sat Khorne. Not in all his splendor and glory no he sat as the face of a man she truly held dear. Taken aback by his form her mood grew worse. “Khorne bloody as ever I see. Have you a reason for bothering me or are you just here.” Her tone wasn’t respectful and it was evident seconds later as he stood from his seat and quickly crossed the room slamming her into the wall holding her pinned under his strength, “I do not require a reason to be near you.”
She was choking underneath his grasp and his mighty hand crushed her shoulder easily until she finally gave up on her stubbornness and cried out in pain. His grip loosened as he began to stroke the side of her neck with the precision only a warrior could bring. His hand slid to the brand of his symbol as he watched her squirm under his sight his pleasure never ceasing. He leans closer to her ear, “I came to inform you that Leon is here.” He feels her shudder at the name and the smirk on his face grows as his hands move towards her armor….

In the Khorne camp, Aeris is visited by a Messenger of Khorne, he tells of dark things coming and gives her a power sword with the mark of Khorne on the guard.

In the Tzeentch camp, Kazon has a similar meeting but several daemonettes can be seen dancing around the fire for his men.(5 Daemonettes)

The Slaanesh camp is dark and dormant as chanting can be heard, until a great fire burst forth and a herald led a huge daemon out of the gate, but just as soon as it appears it disappears and an ax is left in its place. Quintus reaches up and grabs a bloodfeeder from his o' so generous deity.

After many hours Wazzak finally succeeds in finishing a weapon, he parades around his boys shocking them with his new Shokk attack gun.

The Tau have gone back into camp, and as they are resting several new kroot enter the camp and begin to patrol the perimeter. (10 new kroot, 2 of them have hounds)

Wazzak finally knowing that he had done it.
Was eager to test his new toy perhaps some juicy tau.

Len'ra stood in the command tent in middle of the tau camp. She was glad to be out of the suit for at least a little while. The XV9 model was a phenomenal piece of technology but she wished that the Fio'el would put a little bit of work into the comfort of the suit. Looking over the data accumulated that day it seemed that the larger ork force was better armored, but the smaller one was still an unknown quantity. The chaos forces seemed to have an uneasy alliance between each other, but who knew when it would fall apart. A pathfinder calmly walked into the command tent and saluted. Len'ra looked up from her display and returned the salute. "What do you have for me?" "More Gue'la have arrived Shas'el." "More chaos?" "No, they are of the imperium." "And another foe appears." Len'ra mused to herself. "Have the guards be on watch for any signs of the new Gue'la." Len'ra commanded. "And have sniper teams be on the ready if anything should-" *KRACK* The air was broken by a loud noise as one of the sniper drones picked off a tyranid creature which gave a shriek as it fell and died. "Never mind" Len'ra mumbled as she sat down. "Dismissed." The pathfinder turned and left. "More Gue'la." Len'ra said to herself. Normally she did not question the wisdom of the ethereals but this planet was a barren husk. The only use would be a military complex of some kind. And even then.

Ko'vash was making repairs on his XV8 in the lull between battles. A lucky hit had nearly taken out his thrusters and he was forced to walk back to the base. The tyranid in his path had proven no match for his burst cannon but the suit had still sustained damage.

It was true that normally this would be something for the earth caste to do, and indeed they were doing most the work. However, he realized how useful it would be to know how to repair his the battlesuit out in the field and away from any of the fio'la. So he had had the fio'el teach him how his suit worked and how to repair it. True he would never be able to repair it completely, but he only needed to be able to repair it enough to get him back to whatever was serving as the base.

He paused checking the interior when he saw kroot enter the camp. It was good to see kroot here. He had been called here before being able to overhaul his mech so that the servos inside could stand up better in close combat.

His attention was brought back to his battlesuit when the thrusters roared to life once more. The suit was clamped to the ground so it wouldn't fly off no matter how much thrust was generated. He climbed into the cockpit in the middle of the suit and pulled up displays to start shaking down the thrusters. He didn't want them to fail in the middle of the field.

He poked his head out of the torso of the suit and told the fio'ui that he wanted a little modification to his suit's weapons were set up.

While the shakedown for the thrusters was going he and the engineers moved the missile pod from the right arm onto the right shoulder. In it's place he had them attach what amounted to a sword.

He had meant to try testing it in a controlled environment, but a trial by fire worked just as well. The fio'o had developed an energy blade for the crisis battlesuit a while back but had never gotten anyone to test it. The blade itself was situated so that when not in use it sat with the tip towards the battlesuit. When activated it would rotate out so that it could function as a sword. It also glowed a cool blue when activated due to the energy running through it.

With those attached and the thrusters working he started a shakedown on the new configuration as well.

Kazon grinned as he was handed his weapon. 'Thank you my master tzeentch' he mutters beofre he noticed the daemonnetes. 'Hey! you lot need to be checking your ammo, tending wounds and ohther generally useful stuff, not staring at slaaneshi daemons. get to work!' the cultists murmured and started to work.

nick smiled and moved a pawn. "check" nick said as vize watched leon move a knight to the pawn taking it out.

"so your plan is to get her on our side for mark?" nick asks "i say we lie that hes here" vize tells them
"we are not here for that we could use here to kill the rest then take her. check mate" leon told them and nick lost

The orks again began getting impatient they wanna' get fightin' but wazzak quickly restored order by sending the leader of this outbreak into the warp using his shokk attack gun. If some fightin' didn't happen soon Wazzak might lose some more boyz.

Aeris slips from bed taking the blanket with her to cover her less than clad form. She answers the rap at her door to accept the blade and omens of things to come.

She pads her way back to bed and draws the sword studying and testing the blade. SHe swings it experimentally and turns her eyes meeting Khornes , "It is a lovely sword."

He stands a sword appearing in his hand. She already knows what is to come. This has played out between them many times. To call their fight a scuffle does no justice to the God of murder. The fight draws enough blood to soak the sheets of her bed a deeper red and leave her kneeling in a pool of her own blood heaving for breathe.

He walks over touching his blade to her throat his other hand gently brushing her hair, "Your swordplay does improve." She looks up at him with as much rage and hatred as she can muster. He chuckles at her as he leans down to take a kiss from her blood soaked lips before he disappears.

She for her part begins the long process of healing herself.

Leon smirked as nick and vize ready there gear into the night, starting the bikes they started to ride to the khorn camp the sound of there bikes fill the night. it was the only sound

Kazon stares at the bikes arriving across the courtyard. 'So the vendo's come at last. Fathers prediction was right.' Kazon quietly hurries over to the bikers. 'Greetings, Mark Vendo. Tzeentch sends his regards. As does my father...' I offer my non marked hand to mark

Quintus watched as the cultists were easily gunned down and he and his men fled- he did not flee out of fear purely out of not wanting his face to be made less handsome. Once he arrived back in camp he told his men to start chanting.
The chanting continued for about 20 minutes till a herald and a huge demon appeared, both of the demons were stunningly beautiful and Quintus could see they could easily charm him and his men, but before anything could be done they dropped an axe and vanished. Quintus tells his followers to stop and picks up the huge axe- a bloodfeeder from his mighty deity. Those Tau warriors would pay for killing the cultists- they would pay in blood...

On of the kroot on guard duty burst into the command tent. "Ma'am" The carnivore saluted. "The two groups of humans have met!" Len'ra immediately stood up and calmly strode out to the ramparts and grabbed a pair of binoculars from the nearest guard. Looking out she watched the imperial and chaos forces meet and converse.
Turning toward the nearest shas'la "Find Ko'vash and tell him to be ready. We may have a situation." she commanded. "And have the sniper drones be ready as well. We don't know what these Gue'la are doing."
One of the sniper operators moved to his station and started the drone. It's flotation buffers whirring to life as the drone lifted into the air. As it rose the operator turned it toward the chaos camp and the meeting of the imperials and chaos forces. In the current dead of night the drone was almost invisible against the night sky. "Keep watch and notify me of something happens." Len'ra said to the sniper operator as she walked past him into the storage area where her battlesuit was kept.

leon batted the mans hand away. "do not mention my sons name to me boy!" leon stated "now gather your leaders we must talk" leon said as they went on in
