I feel much the same, with one and four run-ups, all totally unexpected. Plus kind of guilty that the one I was awarded was a category I suggested adding. Feels kind of conflict-of-interest-ish

I also find it amusing that my first response on seeing myself listed as a runner-up for "Most Modest" was "Nah, there are others way more deserving of that."

I was surprised to win anything at all, to be honest. Maybe a runner-up place somewhere but not a first place position. It was a pleasant surprise, of course.

Anyhow, I'm glad how it turned out. People seemed to have fun with it and that's what mattered. Maybe we'll do another one next year? It would be interesting to see how it progresses with newer members each time.

i wasn't actually expecting to even be mentioned in this community award, and then i noticed i got runner up for most creating writer, i was pretty happy with myself seeing as i am quite a new member, i dont know, maybe im just pathetic, LOL.

I remember when I did this last year. God, did it piss me off when it was locked a day after I finally added up all the votes. It's a surprising amount of work.

However, in light of recent epiphanies... I'd like to award the "Most Sheepish Return" award to myself.

Sorry if I ticked anyone off (what's that "if" doing in there?), but I regret nothing.
