Monster Hunters

-This RP is based around Monster Hunter Freedom Unite-

In a small village, threatened by great monsters that burn, crush, smash, eat, poison everthing they come to contact with, only a few are able to stand up to these great threats. These are the Monster hunters.

This RP is based around several different zones, 4 to start off with and when you venture further into the world of monster hunter you will unlock more. In these different areas there will be a different mix of monsters to be killed. The four areas are:
-Swamp
-Desert
-Forest
-Mountain

You will also be able to upgraded armour and weapons with the drops you will be able to carve off the creatures. E.G Daiymo Hermitaur has fallen- Hunter A carves the carcass- Hermitaur shell carved!

These items will need to be massed to upgrade the better armour and i will produce not only Hunting Quests but also Gathering quests to gather fish, bugs, honey, mushrooms, all types of ore and so on from the different areas.

To start off with you will be able to choose one of these types of weapon.

Hunting Horn - Ivory Horn

Lance - Long Horn

Name: Huji 'Legend' Jihka

Weapon: BoneGunlance: A slightly less developed version, his gunlance can only fire a single type of shot, which simply bathes the enemy in burning phosphorous and napalm.
Bio: Once a fisherman, he was plagued regularly by monsters that had been flushed out of their habitat by the building of a new town, He took up hunting monsters and eventually advanced the ranks to the point where he managed to kill a Black Gravios. He wears the pale, bleached bones of it as his armour and uses the fangs and claws it once attacked him with as a the base for his weapon and shield.

The early morning sun rose above the mountains. Warm light shone across the ground and illuminated the snowy thatched roofs of the villages houses. Creatures wandered across the ground, felynes picked the small creatures off, eating them as they did. A large mammoth like creature, going by the name of a popo, strolled from foraging back to pokke farm.

At the entrance to the village sat a heavily armoured figure. The figure was named Horith. Horith sat in his armour forged from Lao Shan Lung scale and bones. Before him lay a long sword, Horith held a whetstone as he sharpened his blade. He looked up to see four figures approach him from the village. He put down his blade and smiled behind his helmet "Ah, my replacements..." he stood up "I have some missions for you, but to test your teamwork I'm sending you out in pairs" Horith pulled some streched membranes with inked writing on them "Tano, Huji, you'll be taking on the pesky Cephadrome, its killing our trade routes through the desert." he handed them a membrane each "Norell, Daemon, You shall be taking on the Blangonga that has taken the mountains as his own," he handed the pair some membranes "Good hunting my friends!"

"........ ahhhhhh hmmmmm i have an question even know that i'm a monster hunter can i tame one? other than that what do i use this horn for?" daemon asked with fake cluelessness

[Fungus A]

Legend grunted. "I get stuck with this guy?" He lifted his heavily armoured arm and punched his fists together, the sound of ivory on ivory is a satisfying sound, much like throwing a rock against a cobble road. His face wasn't visible through the gnarled jaws that he wore as a helmet. He claimed to ahve found the skull inside the contents of the black gravios he had slain. The teeth of the skull were gnarled but the gaps were big enough to see through and it was very strong. It had two eye sockets and a set of horns, the creature was unknown as the skull was broken; the snout had caved in and the back of the skull had been broken. Legend had placed bright red plumes from various creature's fur, feathers and plant leaves. His cape was made of a mottled red animal hide that had been patch worked together with red reptile skin. several large gravios fangs jutted from his shoulder blades and aruond the back of his neck, creating a sort of sinister, knarled ruff. He looked blankly at his team mate. "You sure your up for this buddy?" His voice was gravel like, it had the sort of rural accent that you would only find in the central parts of the country. He tightened his belt, which held many pouches of various bombs, fluids and nuts and fruits, and began to walk towards his destination.

tano looked at legend. "reckon you can keep up?" then he grinned. "just messing with ya. lets go get this cephadrome."

"you know what i'll fid out later......... so lets go." she said walking away

upon arrivin at the desert, tano sheilds his eyes. "do you actually know what a cephadrome lookslike?"

[Fungus A]

Legend stared across the desert. "It's pretty hot out here, you should keep yourself cool, here take this." He tossed a blue bottle towards Tano, it was filled with a cold liquid. He looked around and saw the carcass of a piscene wyvern. "A Cephadrome looks like that." he pointed to the body. "But much bigger." He Whipped out his other bottle of cold drink and glugged it down. He pivoted on the spot and moved outwards into the desert, walking along a path to the left. "Cephadromes like to circle big areas of sand, if we can wait for it by the edge, it might come to us, then we hit it with these." He held up three sonic bombs. "Once it is out fo the ground, charge at it with all of your might, they are pretty weak on thier legs, once they get back under ground, they are really hard to hit again." He walked further ahead, the sun mottling his pale armour. He had his hand on the handle of his lance, ready to draw it in case of attack, the handle was wrapped in leather strips, on the handle was a small trigger, next to it was a small lever of sorts; Every time the shot was fired, he would have to eject the shell manually and load in a new one before he could fire again.

The cephadrome surged through the sand, sending ripples outwards and leaving a clear path of sand in its wake. Its fin protruded upwards and waved slightly as the cephadrome swum through the sand. It jumped out of the sand with a roar, its beady eyes flicked sideways and spotted two hunters. It dissapeared back in the sand and altered its course. The cephadrome dissapeared into the sand before erupting from it, its massive jaws spread open, intending to eat the hunters where they stood.
