the nob stood up again, his armour in tatters, a barely visible forcefield sorounding him, smashing the wreckage out of the way. he raised his power klaw for a strike. "sighur! take him out!" val was franticly ttrying to steer as the orks rokkit launchers pounded the side of the 'emmisary' val heard thunder in the distance. then, she touched the crystal in her necklace, and the orks weaopns turned black and to ash. the nob broke his fist on the hull, and their was a nasty howling as the gretchin began to flee. val ran them over as possible, and the few who got away were quickly eaten by the rubtherds suig hounds.

[Lord Sandwich]

Armud swore at himself for not foreseeing the Nob's toughness. He flicked on the charge rune, but knew the gun wouldn't be ready before the Nob tore into the Emissary. Armud fought his way out of his seat, and sprinted towards the top hatch. "Sighur!" he cried to the pintle-gunner. He passed up a frag grenade. "Give them one of these!"

val stopped the tank, crushing the runthersds. "now isghur! do it now!" the nob fires hi big shoota, the bullet ricocheting off the emissarys hull.

Aeris fires on the nob as he runs at the tank aiming at his head and cursing that she's better off with a rifle. Then she leaps to her feet and shoots out one of the holes intended for such she fires at the nobs head.

Armud slipped back down into the belly of the tank. Suddenly, a mighty THWAM rocked the Emissary. Blast. The Meganob was up and pounding on the side of the tank. It seemed that the razor-sharp scaffolding had severed the power lines on his power klaw, but that still didn't reduce its effectiveness as a bludgeoning weapon. There wasn't very long to be had if the tank was to be saved.

"SIGHUR!" Armud roared. "WHAT THE FETH ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" Without waiting for a reply, Armud shoved the (somewhat vacant) scout to the side and hauled himself up through the top hatch. Pulling out his hellgun, Armud kicked a Grot off the tank that had clambered on board. He grinned as the Grot was crushed to paste under the Emissary's thick tracks. Armud joined Aeris and opened up on the Meganob, firing as fast as he possibly could. The shots staggered the Nob, the barrage too thick for it to stand upright. The Nob was faltering, but wasn't dead yet.

And now it was focused on Armud.

[Fungus A]

The scout scrabbled to the hatch of the vehicle, he pulled up with all of his strength and he clenched his teeth so hard he feared they might shatter. He pulled himself up and began to pump shotgun rounds into the nobs skull, it could hardly shrug off close proximity sheels being shot into it's face and then turned to face him. He swifly removed the pin of his frag grenade and casually lobbed it into the gap between his head and his gob. He dropped back down the hatch and braced himself as Ichor spattered through the gaps, he emerged back through the hatch and clasped armuds arm. "I thought you might have needed a hand." The scout smirked for a second before a shot ricochet into the vehicle and ebedded shrapnel in his arm. He winced and began to rapidly unravel the first aid kit that was standard issue in vehicles. He wrapped it round the wound with one arm and then began the agonising process of flushing his arm of blood and teasing the shrapnel out. He sat down to do this and could do nothing else for a while.

val looked at the retreating orks, an grined. "we did it guys. those orks are running for... whatever an ork wold call a mama. so, did aanyone et hurt?"

[Lewis C.]

Ignus stood outside of the predator, unscathed. He glanced around and kicked a fried corpse from below him. He knocked his fist on the hatch of the predator "I myself cannot fit in Val," he glanced around, finding a land raider transport "Why do we not take this?" he walked over to the great beast of a machine and pulled open the front hatch, climbing in frontways. He sat on one of the terminator seats, comunicating over the vox system "Ill need a driver."

Aeris hears this and silentley climbs out of the tank over to the next one and sits down in the seat and begins to turn the tank on.

ooc-the transport capacity of a predator is like, ten, so im sure 3 normal dudes, someone driving and one terminator would be equivilant to 5 men an a driver right? so we will be fine. ignore all post from the one where ignus moves tnks.

ic- ok guys, lets move out. she waited for ignus to climb in, the shut the hatches and began to drive. "treat the injured, check your ammo and sighur, get down from there. someone else can keep watch for a while.

Armud sat back down in the gunner's chair. He checked the readings on the sponson plasma cannon. All readings green. Excellent. Armud slipped a new energy cell into his hellgun, then saw Sighur looking somewhat befuddled.

"If you need something to do, you can watch the auspex readings. I can shoot this gun fine, but I don't have eyes in the back of my head," he said to Sighur. Orks. Why did it have to be Orks? Armud hated Orks. They spoke funny. They smelt funny. They looked funny. They shot funny. Why on Terra couldn't they fight funny? That Meganob had nearly ripped the Emissary in twain, and the outer plates were buckled and dented where the hull had come into contact with the full force of the Meganob's blows. Armud cast his gaze back in the viewfinder. He wasn't about to give anything else another chance.

[Esiphas]

"ok guys i have some good news. there is either a load of problems with the emmisarys computer, or the warp storm shows a similar number of life forms to the ork raiding party inside the storm. so its not orks, or thre would be billions of them." she began to drive the emmisay forwards. "hopefully, its not wwho i think it is" she mumbled as she sealed the drivers compartment.
