Still camouflaged D'wen moves up to K'asumi.
"The humans can wait, we mustn't let them acknowledge their own victory. Hunter, we must follow that transport craft!"
Paying no attention to the Grunt D'wen follows the Pelican.

"taking down a pelican you say" he says to him self "i my have my many flaues but i do have a god given talent for this that not even the sharpest shooting jackel couse challange" he anouneses. he takes his spartain lazer of his back , and pause for a couple of secounds, firing off a shot, the beam of light travels through the air, and hits the palican in the distance. theres a pause, as nothing seems to happen, then a tiny exploshion that would be the size of a fist, a moment pass's as the palican amazing starts to disend to the earth , as it falls, there is a mass chain reaction of exploshions. he watchs with relef and puts the lazer back on his back again. looking at the others "if that dose not prove my worth, then kill my now for my life is nothing but like the rest of my kind"

(i hope no one thinks this as overpowerd . and if you do, then think of it as a fairtrade of for the fact that a pistol to the head will kill me and am 5 foot tall =3, no offence to the 5 foot tall people of this forum)

One of the kidnap grunts spawns about 3 meters away from orien, it stands and just looks at him dazzed and confused

The grunts hand is trembling wildly , he is scared, confused and was just fased with his own mortality, but is trying his best no to let it get to him "i-i am Klicki, or th-- ma-ster" he takes a deep breath "Le-t me try that agai-n. am Klicki, or as my squad know me. rookie" he putts out his hand to orien , witch has stop trembling, showing him a blue triangle "this is a map you a sniper no? will jackles. say how these thing make life easy, its boss's.. but he has lots of god tec and i think this on is pritty ..... dont tell him i took it, and ill let you use it" he push a botton and a map of the local are is projected in to the air, display where they are, and the last none locatons of many other people."

The humans hear an explosion not too far away. They all look up and see their evac pelican blow up and spin down to the ground. "Ah cra p! What are we gonna do now!?" Shouts a marine. Alex shoves him and tells him to keep calm. "There are probaby some covenant nearby, we don't want to let them know we're still alive." Says Ashleigh. Alex notices one of the marines has a sniper rifle. "Pass that here." he says.

He climbs to the top of a large rock and is able to see the hunters and K'asumi through the scope. D'wen is partly obscured by rocks and camoed and the grunt is just behind him. Alex can see that the grunt looks slightly distorted and can guess that D'wen is stood there. He tries to choose a target.

If he gets one of the hunters, D'wen is able to sneak up and kill him. K'asumi, he decides, has too much shielding and armour for the shot to damage it. There is no point shooting the grunt, thats a bullet wasted. He decides on D'wen. The hunters would be too bulky to chase them well enough, and in close combat, he only has to put one bullet in them. If he's lucky, the shot might get the grunt too. He starts to pull the trigger...


(OOC: I'm hoping someone will do something about this, if not, Dwen and Tauscinio both die. Also, dont make it so someone throws a sword and it hits his sniper, or the grunt is secretly charging his laser. That would just suck.)

K'asumi turns, she has been observing her surrounding for potential hiding areas. She looks at a tall palm tree and notices something in there. Once she knows what it is, it's too late to do anything more than hope he misses.

She starts running towards the tree, swords drawn. She knows by the time she reaches it, D'wen may already be dead, but she knows her shields are too strong for the sniper rifle.

Alex pulls the trigger, but is distracted by the golden elites fearful charge. The bullet whizzes through the air and clips D'wens mandibles. It thuds into the ground, but not before puncturing the grunts methane tank. Alex sees the spartan, Ashleigh, running forawrd, pumping shells into K'asumi.

With horrifying accuracy, the elite throws one of her blood red swords straight at Alex. He stares at it, sticking into his gut, and coughs some blood up into his visor. He drags the helmet off and lets it fall to the ground. He realises he is going to die. With a small groan, he drops out of the tree and lands on the floor with a thud. He tries to call for someone to help him, but cannot form the words.

The last thing he sees before he passes out, ready to die, is the sprtan and the elite locked in a ferocious battle to the death.

The hunter Turned, a flick of his wrist and the shield slammed into a single marine. the trnaslator scurried behind the hunter, as did the two bond brothers, forming a large triangle. The assault cannon on Gojt seko yukj's arm fired several shots, two of them found thier marks, Marines fell like flies, screaming to eachother, crying thier last words as a spear like projectile of incendiary plasmatic energy rippled through the air. the hunters first shot hit a single marine, his blood boiling in his body and his skin tightening and burning, the marines eyes burst from thier sockets as his spine shrivelled and he hunched over, burning. the second marine he hit was with another, in an attempt to be heroic, he leapt in the way of the projectile, only to find as he died and agonising death, that the lightning stored in the plasma had arched to the teammate he was trying to save, his last visions were of his companion being burnt to cinders. The hunter had no regard for thier suffering, only hatred for those who would dare Challenge the rights of his people, the right he had fought for, then fought alongside his former foe for. The hunters gold armour gleamed, bullets glancing off of it, shaking the hunter in his vigilant pose, the bond brothers, just behind him, fired long beams of particle plasma, guarding the flanks with deadly precision.

The marines began to scatter, running, leaping out of the way of the horrific blasts, even the snipers, who had witnessed such slaughter and had the ability to extinguish a foe without bearing witness to thier face, began to cower. The hunter had worked himself into a battle frenzy, firing his horrific weapons, blasting holes in the ranks of marines that assaulted them. The hunter paused for a moment, his mask began to glow, the blue veins, coursing through his gold armour, pulling it together towards his head. the sniper rifle shot embedded itself in his armour, the artifact had anticipated the sniper shot and had built itself up around the point of impact. The sniper had a suprised look on his face as the armour around the hunters head began to reform back into it's original shape, the sniper then wailed his last cry, as a blast of multi hued flourescent energy ended his life... Three snipers remained, one unconcious, another alive and the other fleeing... the marines were going to lose... the hunter looked around and then saw the spartan, He glanced at D'wen, and daren't not fire his weapon for fear of killing D'wen. He uttered obscenities and the translator shouted them into the sky. "Elites, pull back, I will deal with this." he noticed that they were to busy to pay attention, so he decided to break his formation and engae in the fight himself. The marine that he knocked out with his shield earlier was beginning to rise, Gorj Seko Yukj them placed his mighty foot on his chest, and unpleasent crackling and squelching sound was heard.

Ashleigh dodges a furious stab by the elite, she gets her chance and smashes the butt of the shotgun into the elites face and pumps another shell into it. The shield has still not depleted and the spartan knows that one hit from the sword could cause her death. She almost dodges a swipe by the elite, but it leaves a cut in the neck of her black, armoured bodysuit.

She blasts two more shots into K'asumi and grins under her helmet as the second shell destroyes the elites shield. The moment of hope does not last long, however, as the elite grabs Ashleighs head and tears her helmet off, then punches her hard in the face.

The spartan feels her jaw break and she lets out a yell of fury, blasting three shells into the elite. To her amazement the elite does not die. K'asumi lunges at Ashleigh with the sword and it cuts through her armour and she feels the cold blade scratch across her ribs.

Ashleigh staggers backward and drops her gun, the elite looms over her, ready to deliver the killing blow and Ashleigh brings her leg up and kicks it right in the face. She can hear a pelican dropship arriving and almost laughes as she sees the covenant retreating under a hail of fire.
She manages to get up and climb aboard the pelican, not forgetting to recover her helmet first.

She glances at Alex and says to the marines "Leave him, he is probably dead." Then the pelican takes off.

(OOC: Obviously one of you is gonna have to change their posts completely. Uhh, I really like the spartan and the elite fighting bit, and I also like the bit where the Hunters are killing off all the marines. I don't know which post should be changed so I suppose you could both change a bit of each? Like, on Fungus' you could change the bit where you smack the spartan away? Toki could change the part where the covenant retreat, instead the hunters could advance and fire at the pelican?)
