Motioning everyone into the elevator shaft, he took aim, holding down the trigger until his ammo was depleted. Instead of shooting at the vines, however, he shot into the air ducts above the vine, before retreating into the elevator shaft and reloading his MP5. "I vote we go down. I'd much rather face something I can see, shoot, and kill, than some crazy freak lightning storm I can't do jack about."

Floyd looked up for a moment as he clambered down the shaft, and he saw tendrils of shadow reaching out, crawling down the shaft. He cried out and started going down faster, and the tentacles stopped for a moment, then lashed out, grabbing onto the ladder and shaking it vigourously. One side snapped free, and the tentacles coiled around the intact half, squeezing it into pulp. Suddenly, the emergency platform came shooting up the shaft, only detached when the elevator hit the sensors well below it's last stop. They all leapt on, and Floyd switched on the floodlights that were positioned one to a corner on the platform. Something in the darkness screamed and the tendrils of darkness retreated. Andrew turned around, and for a moment, he thought he saw a vaguely humanoid shape, large and powerful-looking, iwith horns and claws and bent-back legs, but then it vanished. Something in the station groaned metallically, and Guy shouted, "Watch out!", and they all ducked as the ladder clanged past them. "Anomalies, eh?", said Andrew, and Guy simply shook his head and held up his hands.
As the platform went past the third floor, they heard a scream and sounds of gunfire, but they ceased in a few seconds. The platform stopped suddenly, grinding against it's gears, but it wouldn't move any further. The sign above the open, smashed door read 'Undead'. A human hand came sailing out onto the platform, and they saw red eyes glowing in the darkness. Andrew let loose with the MP5 and something snarled and leapt at them. It was dead before it hit the floor however, and they saw a pallid, humanoid shape. It had claws and fangs, and it's eyes still glowed an evil red, even in death. "A Vampire, I'm guessing...", said Floyd, examining the corpse. The platform started groaning again, and they all leapt off of it, just before it snapped in two from the pressure of something unseen. Andrew looked up, then shouted, "Shite! Get in there, that 'anomaly' is back!", and leapt through the door, a black tentacle whipping through the space where his neck had been a moment before.

*Roars could be heard from the botanical floor* The Akai burst open, a small plant coming out from the main pod, and the sac of seeds flew open and floated around the corridor. The plant went out of the air vents and into another, it's new vines searching around for an opening near the humans.

OOC: We all went down to Undead division. Just crawl down the service elevator shaft.
Something materialised behind them, just as the door closed, and then great rents began to appear in the door-metal. It was slowly being forced apart, and the group decided not to stick around to find out what was doing it. Suddenly, as they ran, the door was torn apart, and the large black creature was there, lightning flickering around it. Someone shouted, "What the hell is that thing?!", in the confusion, and as Andrew turned, his flashlight hit the beast, and it recoiled slightly. "Uh...I think it hates light!", but suddenly, his flashlight started to flicker. Then it went out. Red eyes glowed in the darkness, and the blacker-than-black thing was still visible when the lightning flickered. One of the vampires screamed suddenly, and it was lifted into the air, screaming. Blood spattered down on Floyd's face, and he screamed. Emergency lighting started to flicker on, blinking red lights activating finally, and they saw vampires everywhere. The shadow-beast was systematically tearing them apart, and they were swarming around it, slashing and biting at it with sharp claws and fangs. Andrew let off a few MP5 rounds, and they turned their attention towards him. The thing grabbed another, tore it apart, then lightning flickered again, hitting one of the vampires. Suddenly, another beast of darkness appeared behind the first one, and pulled it backwards, falling down into the shaft and taking their unlikely 'ally' with it. Andrew rapidly switched his MP5 to full-auto and let rip at the vampires, blowing most of them away. Floyd tazered one then rushed up and stabbed it with some broken glass, and Guy kept firing as well. Soon they were all dead, but they could still hear others moving above, below and around them. They just couldn't see them. The shadow-beast was gone, too; it hadn't yet come back.

This is getting Chaotic and terrible! Floyd Shouted. We have to be ready at all times. I suggest we try finding a way to get out of this undead place. I'm afraid science has run amok.

OOC: Cephasquidnautilus, PLEASE use proper grammar. It makes things easier to read, for a start. I'll wait for the others to post before continuing.

Andrew banged his flashlight against the wall, muttering to himself, then kept trying to switch it back on."Oh bloody hell..." He muttered, reloading his MP5. "I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm not exactly going to have enough ammo to gun down everything we see.. I'm a security guard, not a friggin' soldier." He sighed to himself, then turned to look at where they were.

Ok, here's the room.
items: - broken glass, everywhere - blood, everywhere - some more blood - a dead vampire or two - a note, smeared but still legible - an intact computer, still glowing - a backup generator system - loads of vents
It's dark, but lit by the red alarm lights, so you can pretty much still see.

Walking over towards the note, careful to keep an eye on his surroundings, he picked it up, then motioned the scientist to check the computer. Then he put a single bullet into each of the undead's foreheads, before he checked their bodies for anything useful. Then he finally read the note.

Floyd takes a look at the computer.
"After you read the note, be sure to keep a good eye on the vents. Remember what the note said in the room we woke up in. They're in the vents." Floyd said.

OoC: I know you're a floor below. I'm trying to get in through the ceiling. Remember it's just been reborn after immortal reproduction (like in a specific jellyfish that is immortal) so it ain't soo bright. At the moment at least...muhahaha! IC: The banging stopped, it went into the vents and crawled along, looking for Vampires to hunt, or better yet, humans.

OOC: Ok. BTW, the computer is passworded, and contains information about the experiments performed on the undead. The note is a bunch of research notes, but in the lining, it says 'password = angel'.
Something large was breathing heavily behind them. They spun around, but saw nothing. "I think that thing got back in! It's sensitive to light, though. You know, we might want to consider going to dark matter anyway, just to figure out how to deal with these things, and the anomalies. Of course, that would mean getting out of here, and the platform is broken."

Yes, you're right. We should see if we can get any information from this computer first, though.
