The assault on infinitatum hive fleet

OOC: I joined another one as well at somepoint, but it died as well so it is assumed I survived, escaped, and killed the commissar. That's part of why the Black Templars let me in, coz they don't like imp. guard.

Artanis unsheathed his lightning claws, setting them crackling with invisible energy. He slung his assault cannon on his back, then said, "Infinitatum hive fleet. Appears to be a splinter fleet of Kraken that we never found. It also seems to have grown a lot in size. Ah well, then. My claws hunger for battle, and my assault cannon yearns to sing it's song of death. Hmm...now that was way too flowery for my taste. Try this on for size: Let's rock!"

Artanis dropped to one knee in a silent prayer for the killteam, then burst into oratory. "My brothers! The time has come for us to strike back at our foe! Pray to him, and the God-Emperor shall guide your fire into the hearts of the enemy and imbue your blades with faith! Mine own deliverance of cannon fire and the whistle of my claws through the air shall inspire you, as the Tyranids of Hive Fleet Infinitatum falter against our impenetrable might! For we are Space Marines, the best of the finest of the Imperium's most honoured soldiers! For the Emperor! For the Imperium! For victory, my brothers!". He turned around, pointed to the exit hatch, now connected to one of the hive ships, and shouted, "Charge!", rushing forward with his assault cannon held high and his blades cloaked in a field of disruptive energy. A wall of biomass blocked their way, but not for long as the cannon blew it to pieces, splattering the halls with red and green substances. The killteam let out a mighty roar as they opened fire against the first wave, of Ripper swarms, Termagants and Hormagaunts. Artanis charged into the fray alongside Siam, launching a stern counter-offensive, their blades biting deep into the Tyranids chitinous armour.

Garren squeezed past the fighting marine and decided to jump to the ceiling and land in the middle of a termagaunt squad. the relic blade easily cut through each gaunt and he had no reason to slow down. after 1 minute the termagaunts where gone. He threw a krak grenade forward and Garren jumped back to the squad and recovered his strength.

ooc- i am darras now...

ic- darras fired his guns into the many rippers attacking him. then a krak grenade went off, and darras thre himself to the ground, crushing many tyranids underneath him. he stood again, and charged into the fray amongnst his leader.

ortin took his launcher and fire it at the many tyranids to clear the path and went by him self to kill the norn queen which is located on the ship. keep fighting my brothers but you are holding me back i will go kill the queen to end this ship.!

OOC: I sorely doubt that you could take on even a Norn Queen by yourself. Add to that her guards, which are probably Godfexes or Flyrants.

Artanis quickly followed after Ortin, making sure he didn't get himself killed.

"but wait there's more!" Garren said as he was the last one behind the squad running with them and holding off the gaunt ripper swarms. Garren threw off a krak grenade at the ceiling and watched as the path behind him came blocked with the hive ships roof. cutting off their pursuers.

darras sprinted to keep up with his team mates.

"ortin! are you crazy? taking on a norm queen by yourself? wait for some help for emporers sake."

arjac emerged from the darkness, a carnifexes head in his hands. He advanced forward slowly, reciting an ancient spell. all of a sudden, the norm queen screeched, hundreds of trygons poured from the beasts mouth, enveloping the kill team in ichor as arjacs spell summoned a beam of light which ahnihallated all but the trygon prime. The spell left him unconscious on the floor.

Artanis looked at the Trygon Prime, then at Arjac. He moved one hand to his chest in a silent salute, then charged forward, his lightning claws crackling. Darras tried to stop him, but he would not be stopped. He roared, then leapt at the monstrous creature, slashing and hacking at it.

Arjac slowly regained consciousness as he saw artanis leap at the trygon prime, but a massive synaptic wave knocked him back. The trygon prime loomed over artanis but was promptly killed by darras by a severe blow to the head. Arjac stood up. "Thank you darras. Get artanis. we move."

Jaramsheala silently chuckles as half of these nids are his own 'manifestations' to test their skills, cept the trygon was real...

At this point 'she' charges forward into a mass guants and has some fun
