This is your warning joebillyboba, we do not sell things here. Nor should you attempt to buy things either.
According to the rules selling things is grounds for banning, no questions asked. This warning is actually a courtesy since I am well within my rights to ban you right now for using the forum to buy/sell models.
Let this be a lesson to everyone. We here at The Tyranid Hive take buying and selling things very seriously. Don't do it.

You are allowed to advertise your eBay auctions here. I'm fine with your post. The problem is when Joe asks you to do what he posted.
Now let me ask you something. You know that my finger is on the ban button because of this thread. Do you really think taking this discussion to PM is a good idea? Do you really think I won't find out what happens?
Do yourself a favor and drop it. Sell your model on eBay, walk away from there with some money, and then we can all be happy.

Here's the thing you don't get; I don't care if it was a joke.
If you take the time to actually read the rules thread that's on top of every board, and posted again at the top of this board, you'll see that there is one thing you can do that will automatically get you banned. That of course is buying/selling on this site. And as a joke you think it would be fun to break this rule? I don't think so, this is serious business.
You offered to buy his model on this site. You put a cash amount in your offer. That right there is grounds for you getting kicked off this forum, joking or not.
Words and actions have consequences, harsh consequences. You should count your blessings that you're still here instead of complaining about what your punishment should have been.

The whole idea of banning Joe should be banned. He's one of the most awesome people here. If he was to be banned I would personaly start the rebellion. There would be cheese and it would pwn. Just like a party. but thats just my opinion.

So what, Joe can break any rule he wants just because you like him? If you break the rules then you have to suffer the consequences. And if the consequence is being banned then you get banned, it doesn't matter who you are.
I'm starting to regret no banning him now. I give joebillyboba the benefit of the doubt once and now I've got to constantly explain to people why he was wrong, even though it is in black and white in the forum rules. It's starting to get annoying.
