There it is! Tor'ak pointed toward a light in forest. "I must be the camp" he thought.
He wandered closer to it, seeing tents.

Tor'ak: sorry, i'm a bit confused about your recent posts hellbreaker, is that the camp zrascak was at recently? Jorund: You easily slip past the flailing axes, and leave them still unsure as to what happened. You run out onto the plain, exilerated. You take out the shard and examine it. Just then you turn around...and see the horde of Daemons standing there...Tzeentchian Daemons! Karl von Gottlieb was right! Then a figure strides through them. You recognize him--Karl,the old wizard himself! You stare wordlessly as he changes, shifts and morphs his shape to a hooded figure that is all too familiar to a follower of tzeentch--the Changeling! He laughs, and shouts a spell. The army, which you now see is an illusion, disappears. Only three Daemons remain--the Changeling, and two other familiar faces--the Blue Scribes! They cackle with mad glee. Then the changeling, seeing your puzzled expression, explains. "There isss no sssuch perssson asss Karl von Gottlieb," it hisses, "It wasss a tessst. Tzeentch hasss not been tricked--He doesss not beleive you betrayed him, for he would know, asss hisss gaze isss all-ssseing...You have done well. There are more peicesss on the map. There isss another Champion of Tzeentch, Zrassscak, who at thisss moment, is being told of the shardsss...whoever finds the most peicesss, and deliversss them to Xirat'p and P'tarix shall be rewarded greatly. Not counting thisss one, asss that would give you a head ssstart. For once, mighty Tzeentch isss not interfering with the resssult. Go now. ssseek out the shardsss. Now hand that one over. You have one month to find the otherssss." Zrascak: Suddenly, in a pillar of flame, a Daemon appears. It is Fateweaver, two-headed Lord of Change and Oracle of Tzeentch. One head shouting and the other whispering, it gives you same information as the Changeling gave Jorund above in this post (only it says nothing about karl von gottlieb or handing over the shard). Then it disappears, leaving behind a map of the unrecovered shards.

"I will honour you my god." Zrascak says as he picks up the map and studies it. The closest shard is actually just a three hours way from his current location. With a gesture to his Skaven followers he sets of towards the amrked spot. When he reaches it he finds that a wandring high elf sorcerer who was actually one of the sorcerers responsible for destroying Zrascak's village ahs found it and is now studying it. *How dare that filthy lightling touch what my god wants and how dares he come in my way one more time.* he thinks as he draws two of his longswords and gestures to his Skaven to spread out in a circle around the high elf. As the Skaven spread out Zrascak yells "Lightling if you give me the shard you're holding and kneel before me and my god and if Tzeentch deem you worthy of being embraced by him then i shall let you live. If he does not deem you worthy even though you do as i say then at least your death will be quick and painless but if you do not then your death will be slow and painful." upon which the elf answers "I will never kneel to anyone of you darklings." "Too bad." Zracsak says before he starts throwing pink fire of Tzeentch against the elf so that even if the elf moves it will be terribly burned. As the fire rushes towards the elf so does Zrascak, protected by the fire, with his two swords ready adn as he comes close enough he slashes at his enemy from both sides at once.

(OOC: Sorry, been away for a while, back now though. Now where was I? Ah yes.)
The skeletons head lands on the ground some distance away, but the foul thing just keeps coming. "Oh." Bjorn says, before swinging his axe again, aiming to shatter the thing this time, hoping that would be enough.

Zrascak: The sorceror is struck...but rather than die horribly, he fades. The glowing shard, you now see, is just a rock enchanted with an illusion. The sorceror is standing behind you, and he laughs. "did you really expect me to have such a powerful artefact just lying around? Ha! Well, i have no option now but..." he shouts words of power, and a jet of burning-hot light sears towards you. Bjorn: The king shatters, and the limbs hop around feebly for a few seconds, then lie still. The warriors advance, almost at fighting distance. Torak: Suddenly a concealed elf ranger leaps out from behind a tree, and holds a knife to where he thinks your throat is. However, in the darkness he had expected someone vaguely human-sized, and he waves the dagger at empty air, giving you time to strike.

Zrascak lunges himself to the ground backwards, between the legs of teh sorcerer and throws the pink fire of Tzeentch in such a quantity that it burns everything inside a radius of five metres to ashes and at the same time he slashes the elf with his swords so in sucha a way that the elf must be hit by at least one of the three attacks.

Bjorn laughs, suddenly realising that this is exactly the kind of fight he'd been looking for. (OOC: How many skeletons are there? I'll assume there's more than five for now) He swings his axe at the first skeleton, more for distraction than effect, and kicks out at another. His elves gang up on two skeletons, while the harpies make hit and run attacks, knocking skeletons over and generally distracting them without putting themselves in any real harm.
Meanwhile, in the middle of it all, Bjorn goes berserk, swinging his axe one-handed first left, then right, then left again, smashing anything that comes too close, while slamming with his shield at the same time.

Tor'ak looks up, a fair bit surprised, but what would an elf camp be without guards? He grabs the elf and throws it to the ground.
Hello sunshine.
The axe falls toward the elf.

Zrascak: You kill him. What did you expect? (But zrascak must be good at multitasking) You take the shard, and check the map for the next one. The map is obscurely marked. Do you choose 'X', '7', or 'shard here'? (they all have a shard) (good story-arc thing, with the mage that wiped out your village, but from now on i decide the location of the shards. sorry, but the hunt is supposed to be fair, and lictoralpha let me choose the location of his shards. Currently the score is 1-1) Bjorn: Skeletons smash to powder around you. The elves kill the two skeletons, then a third, but a fourth steps up and kills one before you reach it, knocking its head off (unlike the king, these warriors can be killed like that). More skeletons pour in from holes in the walls. Just as it seems your efforts are in vain, an opening appears to the staircase. Jorund: Will you seek 'A', 'there's one here too', or '6'?

(sorry its breif but the pc deleted the post first time round--the original was long and detailed btw) Zrascak: He dies. The map has shards marked 'X', '7', and 'shard here'. Which do you go to. Bjorn: you kill loads, smashing them to powder. your elves kill their two, plus a third, then a fourth kills one of them before a harpy takes it out. Jorund: Will you seek 'A', '23', or 'one here too'? Tor'ak: The elf's head rolls away, blood spurting. Another guard notices it, and investigates. His findings include a head, a body, lots of blood, and four feet of dwarf leaping out at him and burying an axe in his stomach. Two down...um...a lot to go.
