Halthrom rounded a corner, and sat down behind a buried ruin, already covered in writhing worms, and blood. all around him gaunts ran by, ignorant to the old man behind them. halthrom stood up, and lunged for a gaunt, praising the emperor and throwing it high in the air. the gaunts all swarmed him, but he punched through one's chest, another filling up the spot, before a bolter to the head vaporized it's skull. halthrom proceeded, the grondis almost out of site, to the mountains. angrily, he began to charge through the gaunts, drawing his power sword and slicing through he colossal tide.

Grashnak saw the big things drop out of the sky when the box of the eldar opened, and was confused with the power of the box, even thou he heard the screams, and looked at the box, slightly confused. He asked the dark eldar: "Can you get me some?"
(OCC:thanks, but all psykers must make a psychic test, otherwise they die,and with nid Ld of 10,it's not very common.)

OOC: Viron, if you are only keeping with the rules, then you must also realize that most tyranid psychic powers can not be dispelled by enemy psykers. Read the section on hive mind powers in the codex and you'll see what I'm talking about. Plus, Interrogator is right its not very likely that the entire army will fail its psychic tests, so most will simply shrug off your box of deadly screams and scream back at you even louder.
With the combined firepower of the companions on the grondis, the tyranid swarm was thinning. Only one major threat remained. The largest and most heavily armored hive tyrant was now approaching the grondis with its remaining bodyguard of gargoyles. It side stepped a bought of flame from the sororita and landed with a thud on the grondis. The grondis sunk noticeably with the increase in weight, and without pause the hive tyrant attacked, teeth bared and claws poised to decapitate.

Kais heard a slithering sound to her left, and turned to see a huge ripper swarm, she pulled the trigger on her flamer and she got a small burst of flame when the promethium tank ran out. she reached for another one, but her hand just bounced off her armor, she looked down and saw that she had no more. she grabbed her last melta bomb and threw it at the swarm, wiping out a little more than half. she tried to find another weapon. the swarm attacked and she jumped off the grondis and landed next to a dead body that formerly was an inquisitor. she searched the body and found two plasma pistols with a heat sink on them, good she would now be able to fire about 5 more shots without overheating.
OOC: the heat sink is actually from mass effect, but i wanted Kais to have a weapon that could fire repeatedly, but i will not make it to where i could fire 500 shots without overheat, she will only be able to fire about 6 shots.

(yes i under stand now, i just nevr read tyranid codex's)
Viron was amazed at the size of the new enemy hive tyrant, The most he could have done is fighting off the little guys, "go now! I'll hold off the guarding gargoyles!" he yelled jumping to a target.

Halthrom grunted, upset with his position, he looked around, he could now tell that there were not as many tyranids, but many gargoyles. he grabbed onto one, and onto a another, pulling their legs, forcing them faster. he could now see the grondis. after several minutes like this, he readied himself, and lept onto the grondis, falling short and colliding with a sickening crunch. he pulled himself up, and began to assault the hive tyrant, before it lashing out at him, and throwing him back.

Kais yelled " i don't abandon allies, i'll cover you." and started shooting at the gargoyles, bringing down two before her pistols overheated.

Grashnak realised that he had no chance against the tyrant, and so he just took his auto cannon and fired the remaining rounds into him, throwing him off balance with the first round, and barely penetrating the carapace with the other.Without any amunition left he began searching for another weapon,on the other side of the grondis.

The pistols cooled off, and Kais shot more of the Gargoyles, this time bringin down one, when one of her pistols overheated. she put the last shot from her other pistol into the face of the tyrant, but not doing much damage besides pissing it off

OOC: I apologize for not making myself clear enough. The grondis is several hundred feet off the ground. Any falling off would most likely be fatal. Lets just say you have those pistols and a solid ammunition secondary weapon w00t. And spyrogaux, nice going with using the gargoyles as wings. I think I'm actually going to model that. The gargoyles were mostly gone now, a trail of scattered corpses followed the path of the grondis. Those that remained were making hit and run attacks at the fast moving vehicle, but were tiering out fast. The last danger still remained though. The tyrant hissed, a small amount of blood coming up from its internal wound. Flarv reached down into the floor, the metal moving away like liquid as his hand neared. He pulled out a gauss flayer and handed it to Grashnak. Flarv positioned himself in front of the tyrant and prepared to attack with the others. The tyrant snarled and lunged, a razor sharp talon coming an inch away from Viron's ducking head. Flarv stabbed out with his staff which the tyrant blocked and then pulled his staff back close to him to block the two oncoming talons. After happily fiddling with his new toy for a moment Grashnak pressed the trigger and fired, vaporising a small chunk of carapace plating from the tyrants abdomen. The sorita fired continuously with her plasma pistol and, when it over heated, her bolt gun. The tyrant roared as blood spurted from its wounds. It lashed out, cutting into Grashnak's arm and deep into Flarv's abdomen. The tyrant reared back preparing for the killing blow, when the warp spider materialized on its back and stabbed a slender witchblade covered in eldritch runes into the hive tyrants neck between its carapace plates. The tyrants eyes grew feral. It roared up an enormous gout of blood covering the grondis in sickly black icor. Hathrom pulled himself up off the edge of the grondis and charged the weakened monstrosity, bolt pistol blazing and power sword poised ready to strike. Viron reacted with instinct. He lashed out with his knife, severing the talon seconds away from Hathrom's head. The space marine barely noticed, caught up in the frenzy of battle. He plunged the sword deep into the tyrants chest and kicked out with his massive boot. The Tyrant fell backward, tumbling off the grondis, letting out a sickening bloody roar all the way down until a soft thud echoed up from the ground far below. The hive tyrant was dead. Flarv lay there unmoving. Grashnak stumbled over to a seat holing his profusely bleeding arm. The sororita spit and wiped her mouth vigorously, trying to get the taste of splattered tyranid blood off her tung. The spider landed neatly on the grondis, wiping the blood off his blade. Hathrom stumbled into the seat next to Grashnak, relieved to finally be able to rest. Viron threw a shuriken at one of the remaining gargoyles, killing it, and the rest fled. Flappy crawled over to Flarv. He nudged up against Flarv's side. Flarv remained motionless. [Edit] Oh, Timelord, I almost forgot about you, were have you been recently? Ah well, don't worry, get back here as soon as you can. As to the bloody fight above, you have been attacking along side the others during the battle. You suffered a few minor cuts and scrapes but nothing serious.

occ: couldn't have put it bettr myself.
Viron was now resting, wychs loved multi person combats but he almost let it get the best of him. He too could have gone feral, but he was smart and just did the dance that wyches perform in the arenas. Now all he could do is watch as the others recovered from the sky born attack. He fell back and put his hands behind his head to relax. (for as long as he could)

The chaplain stood up, behind the spider, and grabbed his shoulder, "boo"
he then sat back down, assuming the spider knew he was no ghost, and examined the 2 gargoyles, crippled on the deck, before chuckling to himself in old memories.

Kais walked over to Viron, the taste of blood still in her mouth and said "Nice kill" and sat down on the grondis a couple of feet away from him.
