Plans for a rp in the near future, the plot so far ive got down is dis: A group of space marines gets sent out on a recon mission through a misty, jungle world, later being the invasion ground of the tyranids in dawn of war 2. As the squad gets orders of a ork "experiment" encampment, they are dispatched to the location, only to find the place empty of life, the ground desert looking, when they move below the ground floor to the main levels they come in contact with unknown ork/ alein hybrids, choas marines,orks, and the first sightings of the tyranids for the 401st divsion of the Space Marines.

While onboard the battle cruiser the "Tempest" the 401st divsion gets ready for there orbital drop to the planet surface. "Alright marines"! there sargent yells with pride, "we have intel that some nut brained orks have a leathal experimental encampment somewhere on the planet, we are sent to destroy it, kill any hostiles, and evac out of there, am I clear"! "SIR YES SIR" the marines yell. "all you faggots get your weapions from the armory, we dont have all day". As your walking to the armory you notice two men talking about a "cluster of ships" that are wrecking havoc, and are heading our way, no big news you think. When you walk into the armory a tech priest is seen lying dead on the floor, with his skull sliced open saying "they're back" and disappears as soon as you see it, now its time to get your weapions marine and meet up with your squad members.

Species: Human
Gear: Power Armor, Frost Sword, Power Sword, 2x Bolters, two psychic powers, Blood Boil and Fireballs, Motion Tracker, Gunskull with Plasma Pistol

Ravener is one of a handful of the surviving members of the Lightning Roses Chapter. Out of that handful most went and were absorbed by other Chapters, but three members joined together and left for other places. Ravener separated from the other two members long ago and has been searching for them ever since. He has psychic power that are innate to him and a few dark secrets that seem to plague him from time-to-time.
*A little background fluff*
They watched as the Green-skins poured up the hill. Every single shot from his Bolter sounded as thunder, a bell tolling for a greenskin. Yet even with the hthunderstorm the Roses were making, the tide of Green-Skins kept coming. The ground shook as a Dreadnought stomped forward. A blue lance launched out from one side, culling an entire Ork battle line to the ground. Yet as Ravener's vision cleared he could see more Green-skins jumping and filling the void.
There was a scream and trail of fire as a missile was fired. It stuck the Boss it the face, yet when the smoke cleared the boss was still standing and laughing. The blue lace pierced the night again and again, yet with each culling, more Orks seemed to appear. Yet the Roses could not yield. These Orks could not be allowed to gain this planet. To do so would allow access to the rest of the Imperium, even Holy Terra...

doncha think that two heavy bolters is sorta overkill? even if you have bionic arms... and besides, no armor? your not Rambo.. if this were real and you didn't have armor, you would be dead. Period. Even if it's fantasy, try to make it almost feasible

Well in Inquistor I can take two assult cannons, the skills to use them well and decent armor for about 150-200 points

true, but still, it's a *bit* unfair... still, what about the no armor? at least some flak armor.

I'll give this rp a try too.
Name: Goes under the nickname of Shadowstep.
Age:Not known may be everything from 20 to 40.
Species:Presumably human but with extraordinary senses.
Looks: He is using an armor that is forged of nid scales and steel which makes him look like a cross-breed between the two races. However he usually weras a lon black coat over it. He has got one sword at each hip and two in a cross over his back. He has red eyes and is around 220 cm. high. he is slim but has big muscles. He has a tattoo on his both hands on the ousides and on his left cheek that looks like two crossing schyhtes with the cross itself coeverd by an hourglass. Over his left eye he has a big scar.
Weapons: Four different swords made out of schything talons from the nids, one palm dagger in each hand, an armour that he has forged on his own since the spacemarines armour is too small. On the armr he ahs used ork tusks to make "claws" on the outside of the hand, some different daggers and knifes, three modified lasguns(slower speed shot with bigger impaling strength) an two shotguns with executioners shells.
Background:A pretty special space marine that with the last of his legion that is know forgotten he lived on a nid infested planet for around ten years and it's from that life he has his armor and weapons. He was taken back by the marnes when they started to kill of the nids on the planet that he was living on and a scouting troop saw him being attacked. As they thought he was one of their own they rushed to his aid but once they where beside him he had already managed to kill the genestealer by ripping it heads of its shoulders with his are hands. Taken back to the marines he had been offered promotion around five times but he had refused. Since he always has kept to himself nobody complained.

Prolouge:19 hours later

A vessel with the blood raven signia drops out of travling and lands on the jungle infested planet and lands. Hour later blood ravens march out, checking the area for any xenos: none found.
"Commander Thule, no signs of the warboss gorgutz and the necrons here, place is safe as a bug" says a scout marine.
As Thule steps off the vessel he sees his scars ina reflection, feeling the anger from the necron lord of kronus for scaring him. "Get a forward base of operations up, I want this dam mad planet under control of the space marines in 17 hours, NOW!" Thule tells to the 1st company, the bravest of the blood ravens. "It will happen my lord" Says the chapters liberian.

19 hours pass......

As you do meet up with your squad your commanding sergent tells your team about the area and what youll expect. As your team gets onboard a small transport vessel one of the scounts: joey mendel puts a ork poster up and aim right at it. "dont try it green horn mendel, youll kill us all with one bullet" you tell him '' itll richochet off the walls u idoit"
