"Sure," says Ravener yanking a second mask out of his pack.

"I need a mask too, if this stuff is airborne we have probably inhailed it already but it cant hurt" says Ryi as he picks up a filter mask. as he stoops down he sees a small container. standing back up he opens the container which appears to conatain a small sample of the mould. it looks discolored and it isnt throbbing like the rest of the mould. "this is wierd it looks dead."

Ravener studies the box for a minute before slipping a mask over his head. He then proceeds to pass the filters out to the rest of the party

"alright were do we go from here"

"Why not just follow that map?"

[robomummy]

"who has the Map?"

Ravener jerks his finger over his shoulder, "that one...."
"...or this one I found in that storage room," he says whipping out a handy datapad.

"ok it looks like we are in this room," Ryi points to a small room on the map,"we need to get to here" he traces a coridor on the map with his finger," whenever you people are ready to get out of here."

The crew move out of the storeroom and into the cafeteria, all secretly wondering why a mining facility would carry such a weapons stockpile. Ana voices this. Kulasta replies " I don't know, maybe they were conducting an illegal operation? I think perhaps- God Emperor!!!"

Looking around the crew see that the place is a tomb, about two dozen skeletons scattered around, bone white, completely clean in the sterilized room. Ethan bends down and examines a skeleton, "There are spent bullets all around it, and in the chest cavity. He sticks something into its femur, "it's only five Terran years old, but is completely clean... odd.". Ana has been rooting through the cupboards, "And the place has been stripped of food...".

(Guys, mess with anything but the mould, its vital for the story I keep its properties secret. That will be all.)

OCC: But...but I want to burn it...and I wanted a shotgun, not my fault you didn't say no...

Ravener begins to look for packs and bags that the skeletons were carrying. "Hmm, seems that the mold cleaned these corpses quite well."

"but how, I thought it was just some deadly fungi."

Ravener looks over at Ethan, "How's the finger?"
"Wonder if there's a nest for this stuff or something..."

"How else are you supposed to keep workers in-line without weapons? And it's not as if research isn't done in mining operations. Where else better to get test subjects for anything than from a facility loaded with those who work hard all day and may have little else to do?" Cassini shrugged.
"This is most fascinating, though... I would have thought that all the bullets would be spent in all other directions, but there appears to have been a fire fight here... or at least that is what i presume from bullets within the people."
